but what is that going to prove, we will still be stuck with who started the fight..if he has say pot in his system, which stays there for about a month..that doesn't really tell us anything...not to mention i think we all pretty much know that pot slows you down more than anything.. (duuuuuuuuude) lol my imitation of a pothead :seeya:

Let's hope TM didn't have an Everything's bagel for breakfast.

If it turns out GZ's story is correct then what? would JJ and AS still be calling for the arrest of Zimmerman?

They are not going to change.

I wasn't making a comparison. I was asking a simple question on the definition of the word 'killer'? I would assume your answer is no then?

If someone was breaking into my home and raping my child (boy or girl) I would kill them.

If someone was watching and then following me and I ran/walked fast to get away from him and they caught back up with me, I would fight like hell! I wish Trayvon would have slammed his head so hard onto that cement that it knocked Zimmerman out! Then his parents could deal with Trayvon's arrest for assault (even though it was self defense) and get him a good lawyer. At least he would be alive.

Zimmerman never said that.

According to Zimmerman, Trayvon was walking, looking suspicious, high as a kite, checking him out, and then running. He was an a**hole and a f***ing c***. That is what Trayvon was doing.

Because, if you listen to the call, he was on the cut through street and didn't know the name of the street. This leads me to believe he did get out to find the street sign and figured when they called back, he could tell them.

Zimmerman does not live in that gated community, as has been said here over and over, so he didn't know the interior street names.

It's not like the police would have to look for Zimmerman over several miles of roads; they would easily find his truck in this neighborhood, and when they pulled up he could get out of it and speak with them.

I don't believe for a minute that Zimmerman was in pursuit of a street sign. His actions make it clear that he was in pursuit of Trayvon Martin.

If someone breaks into your home and rapes your daughter and you shoot them, are you content with also being called a killer the rest of your days?

We have been told to be careful about comparing apple to oranges. :moo::twocents:

Trayvon wasn't inside anybody's house. Zimmerman followed him. His words are on the 911 tape clear as a bell.

If Zimmerman has the right to "stand and fight," then so does an unarmed 17-year-old boy.

People refer to Zimmerman as a killer because he killed Trayvon with a gun. The kid is dead, and we haven't seen any evidence of the so-called beating that Zimmerman says he received from Trayvon because police didn't take any pictures of Zimmerman and he refused medical treatment. Supposedly Zimmerman went to the doctor the next day, so I'm waiting for a medical report before I just take his word for it.

That's your choice, but there are other opinions just as valid from what we know. :cow: Just my opinion.

NO, he wasn't in anybody's house. I was giving AN EXAMPLE of self defense and being called a killer for protecting yourself.
If in fact GZ was protecting his life, I find the label of "killer" very harsh. But we don't have all the facts yet.

BBM1: The initial police report clearly describes GZ's injuries. The link to that report was provided several times yesterday afternoon.
It said he was bleeding from the nose and the back of the head.

BBM2: The initial police report clearly stated that SFD treated GZ before he was transported by SPD to the station. He did recieve medical treatment at the scene.

I do live in Florida, central Florida, just a few miles east of Sanford, been there many times (gotta love the auto train) and I agree with you 100%.

I don't live in Florida. But my SIL used to and we were just talking about this case this morning and he agreed that the "c" word is outdated. IMO, GZ could have said the "c" word, or he might have said the "g" word, or maybe he was just mad at his "phone." I don't think we'll ever know for sure and I really don't think a garbled, muttered, indecipherable whisper is the best evidence to hang a case on.

You're corect, it was HiHater that posted that definition and where that line of posting originated from.

So the answer the poster was asking is a person that defends themselves in their home always label a KILLER, even if defending themselves.

A tangent really.

George Zimmerman was not defending himself in his home, no one was being raped...

To be fair, M00c0w used this diagram as reference in his/her post, not the one you've posted with the the vertical line changed to magenta.

He may even have the family's permission. Wouldn't they have picked him?
I heard the reporter on cnn say the funeral director said there were no injuries on the body like there is reported on Zimmerman. I have no idea what injuries the funeral director believes Zimmerman has but if he was talking about a bloody nose that would not be present by the time he got the body and most of the bruising and injuries would be under the skin since there was so little time between the fight and death.

The people doing the autopsy would know about those injuries not the funeral director.

Zimmerman did not live in a gated community that he was the neighborhood watch captain for? I hope I missed something and this is not true?

Heard Mike Galanos mention the Funeral Director for Trayvon will be on NG tonight, and will tell what he saw! I wouldn't think that information is protected.
Yep, saw that too. Wow. Wonder what the family thinks about this funeral director that prepared the body for burial, going on national television to talk about it.

*************walks away with head down, shaking it back and forth***********

doesn't anyone have any morales or ethics at all anymore?

And from the first time I heard Zimmerman's call, that part sounded to me like what Zimmerman was really saying was, 'I'm going to follow this guy, so if the cops want to hook up with me they'll have to call me to find out where I am; I'm sure not going to stay in one place and wait for them.'

Wow, to me one would have to really know an individual to read their mind to the extent one would throw in attitude...at least he said "guy", huh?. :moo:

When told he didn't need to follow Trayvon, Zimmerman said, "ok". Had he continued to follow Trayvon, why did he lose him for the remainder of the call - which went on for two more minutes - especially if, as some would have us believe, Zimmerman was "chasing him down" cuz they hear him breathing heavy on the call.

THEN, after he has run his chubby legs off chasing Trayvon for two minutes, he's up for a fight the very moment he catches up to him. I don't think so.

Of course he lives there, he gave his address on the 911 tape. He was on his way to the store going out the front gate. He has lived there since 2009. There are only a few streets within the community so he had to know. Plus he admitted patrolling the area and calling in complaints that people have left their garage doors open, windows open. He is leasing the property but does not own it but he certainly lives there. jmo

Now I'm really lost...I think Zimmerman did live in that community, and he patrolled in that community. :moo:

I let out a "GASP" when I read he wants another gun... IMHO. I cannot imagine anyone wanting to purchase another a gun after killing someone.. JMHO..

Even if you have a bounty on your head?

I would.

Zimmerman never said that.

You and I both know that Zimmerman said that Trayvon looked like he was on something and even backed it up by saying, "Yeah, somethings wrong with him."

Also, I wanted to add that I am very sorry about your experience. Very happy that you are still here with us!
