The transcripts would be great. TIA

ETA: I read your post wrong....you are saying Owen "listened" to the tape and heard the slur, not that he tested it. Did he say whether he listened to it on ABC or the tape put out by SPD?
No he tested it to and says with 99% certainty it is not GZ'S voice...Lawrence O'Donnell asked him if he heard a racial slur and he said he ould not repeat what he heard but was asked if it was effing *oon. and he said yes it is what he heard.... IMHO

This might help:

DIAGNOSTIC: George Zimmerman Clearly says "****ing Coons" Before Killing Trayvon Martin - YouTube

Listen real closely, Even though the title of the video says he said the C word.

and read some of the comments below.

I hear a very obvious "UHN" and not the "OOh" I would think I would hear if GZ said the c word. I thought I heard F'in punks from the very first time. JMO

ETA: GZ would have to have an accent like Forest Gump for the C word to sound anything like punks to me, Again, JMO.

Two completely different scenarios. Trayvon did not kill anyone nor did he point a gun at anyone. And now we are comparing his case to one in which a black teen murdered an officer who asked him what he was doing?

The only evidence that Trayvon was the aggressor comes from a man who wants to avoid prison. Everything else, Zimmerman's background, his taped call to police, etc., points to the greater likelihood that Zimmerman was the aggressor, not Trayvon. And that is notwithstanding the oft repeated witness statement that Trayvon was on top, since that man did not see the beginning (or end, IIRC) of the confrontation.

But, Trayvon was black. And I really believe that this supports an unconscious assumption in many that Trayvon must have been stealing, casing houses, rudely confrontational, lying in wait before attacking the strange man following him, you know, the man he was trying to get away from, violent, used the no longer popular term "homie", was a gang banger, a troublemaker, etc.

And having mixed family members, or black family members or black friends or co-workers or bosses does not change that, IMO. It only adds exceptions to the unconscious attitudes. The fact is, repeated tests have revealed that most people, even those who support civil rights, who decry racial hatred and are not racists in the strict sense of the word, have underlying perceptions about blacks that differ from their perceptions about other "races".

Finally, while many believe racial bias had much to do with why Trayvon was shot, much of the outcry is due to a belief that racial bias determined how the case was investigated and whether Zimmerman would be charged or not.

Do you find Trayvon's mother credible? Do you believe a grieving mother would want to believe that the last thing out of her dead baby's mouth was screams of anguish?

Or how about the two ladies who were actually there that night and heard those screams in person, outside their door, and not filtered through a 911 call? They stated it was a young person crying and begging for help. Are they credible?

Because he wanted to single-handedly make sure this one did not get away.

Were the witnesses who reported it was young black males they saw burglarizing homes and stealing bicycles with white males racist too?

Absolutely racism and prejudiced still exist in this country, but that doesn't mean that every time a white or Hispanic man says a BM looks suspicious he is racist. Sometimes the dude is really up to something.

This thread is growing so quickly that it has been several pages ago when someone inquired about the likelihood or (unlikelihood) of EMTs cleaning GZ up at the scene. I work as a first responder and I can say that we have done minor cleanups on people involved in scenes.

If the person is not a suspect or covered in victims blood (which would be evidence) then we do offer cleansing wipes, gauze pads, etc to whoever may be bleeding, even if they refuse transport to the hospital. Blood is a bio hazard and if they were going to transport GZ in the cop car then they wouldn't have wanted him bleeding all over the car. So in my opinion, even if the paramedic, EMTs or other first responders didn't write out a report of care given, there still would have been someone who likely offered GZ something to wipe blood with, even if just to assess the wound under the blood.

As for George's injuries and his refusal for transport to the hospital, people are often in shock and have to be coaxed to go get checked out at the ER. We had one guy who refused care and refused to be transported to the ER. He went the next day and he turned out to have a broken pelvis. OWW!! That had to hurt but shock can cover pain and injuries till after the shock wears off.

So just to sum it up, someone other than the reporting EMTs may have offered to help George clean up some. There are often many types of first responders from different agencies (Police dept, fire dept, ambulance service, etc).

Each place is different in who responds and how, but our department will do (and has done) a cleanup the best we can at a bloody suicide, a gory accident, etc (once the police determine that they have done everything they need to do). We are very conscious of procedures for police in collecting evidence though and would clear it with a cop before offering something to a suspect.

This is just my offering, from my experiences as a first responder. Just my opinion on how it would have been handled in my area.

At the time that Zimmerman was taken to the police department, 35-40 minutes after the murder, he would have been considered a suspect. He was a suspect, according to the lieutenant on the scene who was recommending that he be charged with manslaughter. He may not have been read his rights at that particular time but he would have been considered a suspect. While I appreciate what you are saying, I still stand by the fact that the police department would assume no liability whatsoever that this man might end up dying while detained for questioning, suspect, or anything of the like and would require that a patient be taken to the ER. It's been this way at every single hospital in the state of Florida that I've worked in for the past 30 years. That police department is not going to risk him seizing and subsequently dying while in their custody, care, etc. whether it be detained or just brought in for questioning. At the time LE pulled away from that scene with handcuffs on him became a suspect rightfully so.

The fact that people who chose to live in a "gated" community are going to face major lawsuits is somewhat karmic, in my opinion.

The HOA is not LLC? I thought that was why it has insurance. It will go bankrupt and there will not be a HOA anymore IIRC?

I really can't say 100%. It does sound like the slur but I couldn't swear on it.

I hope the FBI can though.

Wouldn't that be a police matter???? jmo

At first I thought he said F#%@king phones. I am always saying that about mine.

When it comes down to it shouldn't all this be figured out by a jury? After experts testify and the prosecution and defense both present their side?

Actually, it was Zimmerman's wife who was the one who gave LE a description of the "young black" burglary suspects. She was the witness to those, according to Zimmerman. I'm still waiting for her 911 call to be released because when you are actually witnessing a burglary in progress... that would be the proper time to call 911.

His speech pattern does seem a bit on the slower side. Not sure what that means if anything.

I must have missed hearing the unKs sound. Can someone direct me to this? TIA!

ETA: I forgot to address this. I posted about how this could be on the last thread. Basically, the "puh" sound could be almost silent in a taped call, especially when the caller is whispering. And the rest of the word: "nks" could sound similar to the racial ephithet depending on accents, speed of the vocalization etc.

So I guess Zimmerman, his father, His brother, possibly his own mother, His friends, The SFPD, The EMTs, the Prosecutors, The TWO witnesses etc. are all in one big conspiracy together????

Except for the two witnesses, and the EMTs, yes.

How does what Zimmerman's family members or friends have to say prove anything other than what he told them? Nothing. Further, what they have said does more to show he was the aggressor as they state he ran after Trayvon and was "fed up" with the crime on the part of young blacks in the neighborhood.

And the two witnesses you are speaking of said nothing that proves Trayvon jumped Zimmerman.

As far as the EMTs are considered, we don't know what the EMTs have to say because that has not been released. And even if Zimmerman had injuries, the fact that he was injured does not prove who was the aggressor. If someone tries to rape me, for example, you'd better believe I'm going to do some damage.

Now, what about the police department and the prosecutors? There is a reason the feds are now investigating and that an independent special prosecutor has been assigned. There is evidence that they did not do their jobs that night because of an assumption that since Trayvon was black, he must have been dangerous and the aggressor. There is also evidence that they covered up their shoddy work to hide that bias. Finally, in that jurisdiction, this kind of conduct on the part of authorities when it comes to black victims of crime, is becoming a habit.

There is a reason millions of people are outraged by this case. :moo:

I have listened to this several times and I never once heard a unk sound. Yes, there was a uck sound in the profanity, but not an unk one in the next word. Can you point me to the exact second when the unk sound is heard in the YT vid.?

I didn't read the YT comments, but I'm really not sure why anyone would believe comments from random strangers on YT?
