I have listened to this several times and I never once heard a unk sound. Yes, there was a uck sound, but not an unk one. Can you point me to the exact second when the unk sound is heard in the YT vid.?

I didn't read the YT comments, but I'm really not sure why anyone would believe comments from random strangers on YT?

I hear no unk sound or p sound in that phrase.
I hear "effing coons" on the 911 tape, the 11 people I played it for said they heard the same thing. I didn't tell them what I know I heard, I played the tape for each person individually, got the same results each time. JMO

What got this really going is when that lawyer came out with the phone call with the girlfriend. I haven't been able to hear it yet but he was on the phone and this girl is a witness also.

Her saying TM said Why are you following me showed me that he made the first contact,Also I am not sure if she could tell what happened after she heard GZ ask what are you doing here. How can she be sure if it was a push and who pushed who?She is not an eyewitness .Wouldn't that be just her opinion? What really bothers me a lot is that TM had a phone if he knew he was being followed why not call 911 yourself? Also the GF did not call 911 after she knew he was being followed, heard that they now had words thinks she hears TM pushed and she did not call 911. I find that extremely odd. Most kids are taught at a very young age to call 911 and neither did.JMO.

I just noticed a huge bruise on my leg, have no idea when that happened. I did note that it looks much more serious than whatever that is on Zimmerman's head (which to me, without the color enhancement, looks like two bumps that are part of the structure of his head). I can assure you that no one was banging my leg against concrete. Heads are not always smooth --- plus with his previous anger issues, he could even have some scars from past altercations.

I didn't even hear it in the YouTube video that's been posted in this thread. And I played it over and over.

When I first listened to the 911 call, NO ONE was saying anything about what he mumbled, so my ears weren't "tainted."

I used to be a fan in my teens. LOL
I don't even listen to rap much anymore. It was definitely a phase.

Totally OT but I love me some rap and hip hop music. I'm in my late 40s and I think it's absolutely awesome. My girls love that I can rap right along with them. I loved Tupac, love Lil' Wayne, TI, Busta Rhymes, not many out there that I don't love.

I'd like to ask something. I was reading through the police report and noticed this paragraph:

Please understand that I know nothing about this sort of thing, but was there a reason they were trying to revive TM? They had to know he'd been shot? It reads as if several people were involved in trying for some reason.

Wonder how long they tried?

IMO Why didn't the first officer at least check him ?Sounds like he waited for EMS.

Wow on MSNBC Bonaparte---city manager said they are investigating the meeting..And an interview RZ SR. gave he said he never told police or anyone at the station he was a Magistrate Judge.....I call BS on this Something hinky happened in Sanford the night TM was 'Murdered" IMHO JMHO and all that

I read in an earlier article that GZ told the police that night his Dad was a Magistrate and that his mother worked for the courts. So it is probably true that RZ didn't because he knew his son had already done so. MOO. Also, I have been bothered by the testimony of one witness who said the person screaming sounded like he was in pain. I wonder if we will ever know if the autopsy showed injuries on TM, consistent with a beating or maybe pistol whipped? What was causing the pain before he was shot dead? I believe I heard terror but also it sounded like something was happening to him. It is very likely that GZ was injured in the struggle but possibly TM was injured worse.

Were the witnesses who reported it was young black males they saw burglarizing homes and stealing bicycles with white males racist too?

Absolutely racism and prejudiced still exist in this country, but that doesn't mean that every time a white or Hispanic man says a BM looks suspicious he is racist. Sometimes the dude is really up to something.

Nope. Cause' those black males were actually did something to seem suspicious: They were committing a crime.

Trayvon's crime was being young, alone and black, IMO.

I edited a post a couple pages back to answer this. When I first heard the call, I thought it was the racial epithet or "goons". I could not understand why anyone would hear "punks". But then CNN enhanced it. I listened to it repeatedly and now understand why some hear "punks". I think it could be either but I am actually leaning towards "punks" now, due to what I perceive to be the psychology of Zimmerman. If you read back through my posts I have a long explanation why. But a main point is that the "puh" sound is a very soft one that may not be easily heard in recoding of a whispered utterance and "nks". the racial epithet can sound quite similar, surprisingly.

He had to secure the gun and GZ. The next officer on the scene did CPR. jmo

The 911 tape picking up the screams in the background really surprized me. I had no idea the phone could pick up sounds at that distance.

Sorry to quote myself, but look at the author of this article. coinky dink????

The significance is lost on me. She's worked in her current position since 2001. I promise I am trying on my own to figure it out....help?

The article was very interesting. I wonder how often Robertson regretted not taking the plea deal.

BBM
They tried to revive him because he had not yet been declared deceased. First responders will attempt to revive an unresponsive patient even if there was a shot because not all gunshot wounds are fatal. Heck ANYBODY responding at the scene could have begun CPR and when the paramedics/EMTs arrived, stopped compressions and turned the case over to them. A credentialed individual can call a time of death IF that is the policy in the community.....some paramedics in some jurisdictions must be in contact (radio/phone) with an ER/ED physician to get the "okay" to declare.

Time spent on the unresponsive individual would be case & injury specific specific.
