Just think, if GZ goes free, he could be in any of our neighborhoods as captain of NW, packing heat! That's a real comforting feeling, huh?

So was there an actual break into FT's house and an arrest or just someone GZ suspected was checking the house out???? Could have been a neighborhood watch person checking on that open window so it could be called in to 911. lol Isn't that what GZ would have done?

The saggy low rider pants are a fashion trend with many teenage boys. While I don't like it and yes the schools here don't allow it, it is what it is. I definitely don't pass judgement on boys that do this, though I do tell them to pull up their pants! :).

Here in FL, prisoners in jail wear jumpsuits (usually orange ones). Maybe other states have prisoners wear pants and shirts and this is where the idea that low rider pants are associated with prisoners came from?

I'm really curious how it is logistically possible for a person to wear their pants down to their knees. Can someone please educate me about this? TIA!

Thank goodness I was too young for hip huggers and mini skirts, let alone white go-go boots. Don't even get me started on the Beatles they would steal your morality with that long hair and music of peace dontchaknow.

Students block police station entrance
No arrests have been made in the Monday protest, which comes a day after the students, who call themselves the Dream Defenders, completed a 40-mile, three-day march from Daytona Beach to Sanford, where Martin, 17, was shot and killed by neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman in late February.

City officials and members of the U.S. Department of Justice were observing the demonstration, which consisted of a handful of students -- some wearing hoodies -- blocking the entrance and dozens of others standing nearby.

Local 6 News reporter Cortney Hall said a couple of people have tried to enter the Sanford Police Department but the doors are locked.

How does GZ's attorney know he is 'distraught' if he has never met or spoken to GZ? I say Bull!

He didn't seem too distraught in the video at the Police station, did he? LOL! I know that GZ may have been in shock after the beating he took (ahem), but if I had just discharged my firearm and killed someone and had my head smashed and nose broken, I would be a basket case!

I agree with your previous post that if turned over to the GJ that we could be in for a long wait. The GJ convenes tomorrow. Does anyone know for how long the GJ is in session?

BBM: What is wrong with this statement is that GZ was surrounded by homes on Twin Trees. Any home where his car was sitting had an address. Why would he go running down the cut through to the next street when there is only one back gate where a suspect could have gotten out????? That statement from the father makes on sense.

Also why haven't the attorneys met with GZ as yet. According to the GMA interview this morning they plan on doing so some time this week. Would that be because no charges have been filed??? jmo

That's just the strangest thing to me. I would think they would want to meet with him in person whether charges have been filed to date or not. IMO

If Trayvon Martin’s family sues over his death, they might not target George Zimmerman but instead the homeowners association of the neighborhood where the shooting happened and Zimmerman lived.

I hope they do. I feel the HOA shares in the responsibility. I believe they knew he running around on his "watch" (hunt) armed. IMO JMO MOO

ITA...and the mentality I fear is shared with GZ...birds of a feather and all that jazz...

So it's not clear who the "gangsters" are.......are they the Asians, Whites, Blacks or Hispanic ones? I think gangsters come in all colors....like Skittles. jmo

I had always thought the low rider look originated in prison because belts were not allowed and sometimes you were stuck wearing whatever ill fitting pants were tossed at you. I was also told by some AA friends that many times having to wear an older siblings hand me downs left you wearing ill fitting pants and that was another explanation for how this look evolved into popular culture.

Since no one is saying where he is....he could be patrolling ANY of our neighborhoods right at this very minute....with a gun, as his license was not revoked.

One thing for sure...they cannot run...:giggle: they trip over their legs when they try to run...I've seen it, and LMAO...I don't understand the need either to wear your pants to your knees with underwear showing...a fashion statment I'm so happy my grown adult sons, never did..it wasn't out when they were younger but they don't like the look either..but to each their own...

LOL, I saw all the weird stuff from the introduction of bikinis, heavens forbid the bikini underwear, hot pants, mini skirts, lol, bell bottoms, going braless, hahaha I did all those things right through to thong bathing suits. Back it the day it was 'if you got it, flaunt it".
Now I am little old lady, but if it wouldn't gross people out, I would do it again.
Long live the spirit of fashion!!

Maybe GZ does not have to "pay" them if they don't meet. In the meantime look at all the free media time these attorneys are getting. Free advertising, IMO. On the other hand if they do not meet with him, they can say what they want in his defense because it's just their opinion. My guess is he has not told them anything so they are free to say whatever they want in his defense. jmo

I would say that the fact that they haven't met with him, and that NONE of the so called "friends" have either SEEN nor SPOKEN to him by their own admission, may very well indicate that he is out of the country. His mother may very well still have numerous relatives in another country (Columbia, Venezuela, I have forgotten, sorry).

Ok - here's a thought I had over the weekend.

It could serve for some civil discussion for now.

Either way - this decision is going to pizz someone off. There are 2 sides 1) arrest him and 2) don't arrest him

Let's say the decision comes down to arrest.

Ok, that will serve to somewhat calm the masses BUT

What IF:

GZ is out of the country. AND GZ is in a country where we have no extradition agreement. Then what?

And an added:

Will we even know this? At first, I'm quite sure the authorities will try their best to keep that quiet while they work at trying to get him here but...... if it goes on for any length of time, they will eventually have to "let it out".

I'm very concerned over this as this situation could very well be going on. GZ was a free man - free to travel anywhere he wanted. Now they say they know where he is. And yes, the FBI can pretty much find you whenever they want, and that GZ would have had to use his passport. So, while they might know where he is, they could be concerned about his physical location.

Ok? Whatcha think? Possible? Probable? Outright nonsense?
