One thing for sure...they cannot run...:giggle: they trip over their legs when they try to run...I've seen it, and LMAO...I don't understand the need either to wear your pants to your knees with underwear showing...a fashion statment I'm so happy my grown adult sons, never did..it wasn't out when they were younger but they don't like the look either..but to each their own...

I'm always tempted to run up behind one and pull on their pants, lol.

Just announced.

So it's not clear who the "gangsters" are.......are they the Asians, Whites, Blacks or Hispanic ones? I think gangsters come in all colors....like Skittles. jmo

so true, LC...but to say this about your neighbors...the second paragraph sort of says it...I'm wondering how much it would be to rent a house there? I'm not thinking it's cheap...and if his 'low life' neighbors can afford the rent can he still refer to them in that way? I'm shocked no one in that community took offense to FT's words..that's a scary mentality to be around..

and GZ and his serial 911 calls always are about young black...even went as far as calling in black kids playing in the street! Isn't that abuse of the 911 system? Why didn't SPD try and put a stop to all those calls coming into 911 when they could have been elsewhere...barely anything amounted to an arrest and any arrest GZ had a hand in was not in that community...it was at a store...:banghead:

So was there an actual break into FT's house and an arrest or just someone GZ suspected was checking the house out???? Could have been a neighborhood watch person checking on that open window so it could be called in to 911. lol Isn't that what GZ would have done?
jmo

BBM. No kidding! Honest to Pete, it could have been the meter reader or the Comcast guy or the HOA rep checking for violations. I have seen all of those types around my house and gone out to ask, "May I help you?" At which point, they identified themselves, showed me their ID (on a lanyard - none were in uniform), and we all went along on our way. No break-ins, no shootings.

FT may need to be assessed for paranoia IMO.

LOL, I saw all the weird stuff from the introduction of bikinis, heavens forbid the bikini underwear, hot pants, mini skirts, lol, bell bottoms, going braless, hahaha I did all those things right through to thong bathing suits. Back it the day it was 'if you got it, flaunt it".
Now I am little old lady, but if it wouldn't gross people out, I would do it again.
Long live the spirit of fashion!!

How about the current rage: the string underwear, or whatever it's called!

I've never heard the dad say he was being "punished", and I don't fault him for not "punishing" Trayvon. He was a boy who had that year pretty much lost his way for whatever reason, and i'm not a big punisher. The dad was clear that he took him to Sanford to dissociate him from his friends and try to get him back on track.

One of the things he was doing, it appears, to get him back on track was to supervise him very well and not let him leave the house. But Trayvon finally wore his dad down and came up with an innocent enough sounding ruse to leave, and he did. I think we all get that.

It's when he never returned, that this all kind of falls apart and you realize he wasn't being well supervised at all - when he failed to ever return, the dad turned his phone off and went to bed, having no idea whatsoever where his son was. Without a car, without friends in the area, his son was gone and no attempt whatsoever was made to find him until 8 am the next morning.

BBM: This is where you are wrong on several points! 1- While not "friends" he had at least one 20 year old cousin in the area that he had already obtained permission from his father to go to the movies with. 2 - TM's father has stated numerous times that he tried to call TM but figured he was in the movie theater with his older cousin (whom dad thought would be a good influence on TM) so TM had his phone turned off - this is NOT "having no idea whatsoever" where his son was. 3 - Dad NEVER said he turned his phone OFF and went to bed he just said he went to bed before the time he thought TM would be home from the movies with his older cousin.

When TM's father woke up the next morning and realized that TM had never made it home from the movies with his older cousin is when he started making phone calls to find TM.

You are making assumptions that TM "was not supervised at all" using a lot of FALSE information.

jmo, imo and all that jazz

How about the current rage: the string underwear, or whatever it's called!
where did you hear this? Which network?

ETA: nevermind - found it MSNBC

talking about it now. GZ has exercised his right to remain silent. Don't know if initial interview (the night of) was video taped by SPD.

SPD will be temporarily closed today.

And could be GZ wanted to sound like a hero!

What I think is ironic is FT never mentioned an arrest and the media put it out there that on Feb. 2nd some black men were arrested for breaking into FT's home. So which is true? Someone was spotted looking at FT's home or there was an actual arrest??? jmo

We call those blackmail pics. My in-laws used to have theme parties in the 1950's some of the funniest slide shows ever. They thought they were stylin'

Seriously though Trayvon Martin didn't deserve to die because of how he dressed, walked, talked or was out in the rain. I spent the weekend playing Easter bunny with my GS and every time I looked into those big brown eyes with that innocent smile.......:(

Ok - here's a thought I had over the weekend.

It could serve for some civil discussion for now.

Either way - this decision is going to pizz someone off. There are 2 sides 1) arrest him and 2) don't arrest him

Let's say the decision comes down to arrest.

Ok, that will serve to somewhat calm the masses BUT

What IF:

GZ is out of the country. AND GZ is in a country where we have no extradition agreement. Then what?

And an added:

Will we even know this? At first, I'm quite sure the authorities will try their best to keep that quiet while they work at trying to get him here but...... if it goes on for any length of time, they will eventually have to "let it out".

I'm very concerned over this as this situation could very well be going on. GZ was a free man - free to travel anywhere he wanted. Now they say they know where he is. And yes, the FBI can pretty much find you whenever they want, and that GZ would have had to use his passport. So, while they might know where he is, they could be concerned about his physical location.

Ok? Whatcha think? Possible? Probable? Outright nonsense?

JMHO

LE knows where he is, they've said this all along - I don't think he is sneaking out of the country - the case is too high profile. He's said he would turn himself in. I just don't think there's going to be an arrest, given the evidence.

Keep an eye out for white Broncos, just in case!

Just announced.

What's that mean?

Is ACory bringing charges without the GJ or is he justified and no charges to be filed..???

If Trayvon Martin’s family sues over his death, they might not target George Zimmerman but instead the homeowners association of the neighborhood where the shooting happened and Zimmerman lived.

If GZ is successful in his SYG defense he CAN NOT be sued for civil damages. It's part of the legislation that made SYG law here in FL. There's no civil liability for him.

The HOA will carry the full burden of the civil suits that will surely be filed.

Breaking news on Twitter - NO Grand Jury in Trayvon case!!! :what:

No Grand Jury, says Pros. Angela Corey
The special prosecutor for the Trayvon Martin case has decided not to use a grand jury in the death investigation, according to a release.

State Attorney Angela Corey said on Monday that the grand jury date, which was set to convene on Tuesday, was previously scheduled by the former prosecutor.

According to Corey's released, "the decision should not be considered a factor in the final determination of the case."

CNN just announced Angela Cory will not convene a Grand Jury - but she's pretty much said this all along - she's never used one in this type of case.

How long can Angela Corey, et al continue to investigate before a decision must be made? Is there a limit on the time? Thanks

There will be no grand jury investigation of the Trayvon Martin case.

State Attorney Angela Corey announced Monday that she will not use the grand jury. She is the Jacksonville-based special prosecutor who was appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to investigate the case.

In her announcement, Corey said that this decision would not be a factor in her final decision on the case. She is still investigating the case. Corey reiterated that from the outset, she had said she may not need a grand jury.

It was just announced on MSNBC. Corey is going to make the decision herself. No Grand Jury needed.

They, however, did not say when this decision will be made or announced.
