His 'constituents' demand his continued appearances is what he told Nancy Grace.

I can't believe Frank Taaffe said he has constituents...He has an inflated sense of self. I wonder if he was really talking to Zimmerman the whole time.

Do you know if they have been commenting on this case? Or do you think they are just staying in the background?

I imagine they were waiting to see which way the wind was gonna blow. Now that the SYG laws have been scrutinized so heavily, they're going to have to get in there and protect their baby. I'm envisioning teams of lawyers licking their chops and politicians girding their loins.....

Wait a minute, I thought his father said that out of nowhere Trayvon sucker punched him and knocked him flat to the ground breaking his nose....

Do any of these people ever talk to each other before they make fools of themselves on camera?

Not that I want to defend the Zimmermans, but in fairness, I think Jr. was saying that Trayvon was pressing on RZ's mouth and previously broken nose in order to suffocate RZ.

Jr. called the punch the "introduction" at one point, implying that TM sucker-punched RZ at the start of their encounter.

Did Zimmerman cover his head because there's no scar? :waitasec:

I am so tired of watching him. Why do they keep having him on the programs? He says the same thing over and over and over. He acts like a know it all. JMO

I bet he practices in the mirror.

I just hope Trayvon died instantly and didn't suffer at all. Poor, poor young boy.

Don't worry, Trayvon, we are right there with you and your wonderful parents; we will never let you down. We've got your back. :heartbeat:

R.I.P., Trayvon.

That at least makes some sort of sense, although I don't think that those blood curdling screams were coming from someone with a hand over their mouth or someone who was swallowing a lot of blood due to a broken nose, but that's just MY opinion.

I agree completely. The NRA has big money and I worry about juror bribery & tampering too, jmo.

If evidence proves GZ lied why would the NRA back him???? Seems to me this is the last person they would want to see with a gun. Most gun owners are responsible people. If he is being charged with 2nd degree murder the state obviously has something to prove he lied to LE. jmo

Uh Huhhhh yes, with his swollen nose making breathing difficult and while swallowing copious amounts of blood, one of my neighbors just texted me that he claimed that the nose was broken and that George was swallowing a lot of blood that never got on his shirt or jacket...She also said that when given a chance to say something to the Martins, instead of any kind of sympathy for their loss of their son, he bloviated on how much his family has been devastated and how much they have lost, being afraid to walk the streets and the loss of his brother and such...what class :>(

I watched it live. Good summary by your neighbors.

"Frank" Francis Taaffe - one of the guys who was GZ's friend at least as far as the media was concerned. He seems to have a lot of time to spend on TV these days.

He makes my skin crawl. For some reason I have a feeling that Frank is going to need a lawyer soon. I wonder if they have GZ phone records? I think Frank may have spotted Tray FIRST and called GZ. Just a theory of mine.

I don't know how his "constituent" can watch him now since he's in jail. jmo

Looks like GZ has lost some weight. I wonder if his lawyer will lower his chair for him. He will look like he's a lot smaller then Trayvon. Like he's so defensless

I agree with you. But I personally think the NRA doesn't care who has a gun as long as everyone can get one. It's all about money & they don't want "their" SYG law, that they lobbied so hard for (and didn't they basically write the law??), repealed in the states that have it. jmo.

He really doesn't look much smaller to me. When the camera zooms in on his back, he still has a pretty wide body. His face doesn't look sunken in or anything...he definitely was not on a hunger strike...

JMO MOO IMO

My opinion, too. I thought Jr.'s account was absurd.

I just wanted to be fair that I didn't think he was saying that was when GZ's nose was broken. I think Jr. still maintains the break happened with the first punch.

IMHO.. It could have been that plaid shirt or the angle of the camera but he didn't look to skinny to me when he was being escorted into the jail...JMHO

I think all his attorneys, including O'Mara, said the same thing that GZ was only upset because he was no longer free to walk into a 7-11. I don't think they mentioned Burger King. jmo

I just somehow cannot get over a life and death struggle that requires you to shoot someone yet 35 minutes later at the police station you appear completely uninjured to the point that your shirt is still tucked in, no grass stains, no blood, no bandages on any of your injuries, and the EMT's even managed to clean all the blood off of your face and neck ect.

Just doesn't track IMO JMHO and stuff
