LOL, I'm cheap, I keep my air conditioning at 72.

I'm cheap, too! 74 here in the summer, with all ceiling fans spinning on high.

And I suspect that may very well be the case here...JMHO

That is where I have the problem with Corey stating that the investigation was never stopped, that it had been ongoing from the night of the incident. That is not a truth. Unless I am wrong, I'm sure I heard Trayvon's father state on national network that he was told by police that there was going to be no arrest due to self defense and SYG. I am disappointed in the way Corey handled this question during the presser yesterday; she could have deferred an answer to that question. I don't know that I would trust the Florida system myself.

The other thing is GZ always has the option of not obeying the dispatcher. Even if she told him, "stop following him" he still has the option of continuing to follow him. He is over the phone and cannot control what he does. GZ was hell bent on following TM regardless of how the dispatcher phrased it. He made that decision at the end and now he is sowing it. When you are an adult you are expected to have common sense. I would have never followed someone who I suspected was suspicious if I feared for my life.

You might follow if you were like George and had a gun...heck, he felt safe ^i^

A janitor that works in the building can walk around and say they're "law enforcement personnel"?

lol, okay.

I believe maintenance would work for the maintenance department. jmo

Poor Taafe on Dr. Drew lying and saying the police noted on the police report bruising on Zimmerman's head.

I wonder who identified him at the morgue then, and if they were correct in that it was Trayvon. .. something else to ponder.

:what: Trayvon is dead and buried , he was positively identified ! I don't see where your going with this ..JMO

I tend to think this attorney is getting to know GZ. GZ, I would think would be feeling pretty regretful about what he chose to do that night and killing a person, under 18. At least, he should feel regret as he's in jail facing a Murder 2 charge. It's upset a whole country & beyond from articles I've read.

Nejames said he was called 2 times by GZ. He declined this week but gave 5 names of attorneys to GZ. Nejames is a PR type lawyer from what I remember from a few years ago. So GZ picked one. If Nejames knows Mark O'Mara which I don't doubt, MO is, he also realizes this case needs calmed down & GZ needs a karma makeover for trial.

FT is now on Dr. Drew.. He just sated he is praying for GZ to be exonerated when we have OUR day in court... This guy is something else..Is he joined to GZ at the hip? Co-Dependant much?

Maybe he is jealous of the attention GZ is getting. You know like a naughty child any attention is better than no attention at all. So he has to be part of the team. JMO MOO IMO

Dr. Drew is too nice to FT. I couldn't have the patience with him. JMO

I really hope O'Mara asks him to stop. He is not doing GZ any favors!

This is just my opinion but I think when he decided to follow Trayvon, that's when he decided to kill him. George said things to 911 that seemed to me to be excuses for killing him when he caught him, such as the hand in his waistband & that TM was coming after him, when neither happened. jmo. Reasons I think George murdered Trayvon, ALL JMO of course:

1. Trayvon was black (GZ is a racist.. the slurs; wouldn't follow white teen out walking imo; black kid=🤬🤬🤬🤬)
2. Trayvon fit description of other GZ unsubstantiated suspicious 911 calls (black=suspicious)
3. A dead Trayvon couldn't tell police the truth that George pursued him for no reason
4. Thought he'd be super-hero, wanted to impress cops
5. Thought it'd blow over… because Trayvon was just some ‘black 🤬🤬🤬🤬'
6. Thought it'd blow over… because dad is fmr mag judge & helped sweep under rug

I think 1-3 are the primary reasons he gunned down Trayvon and that this was cold-blooded murder. But that's tougher to prove in court. Again, all jmo.

:moo:
Awesome post and I totally agree. IMHO JMHO and all that

According to the charging document, he said "Effin Punks"

That is what the evidence shows according to the state attorney. Are you thinking she is incorrect?

Actually I haven't read the newly released charging document but it changes nothing in the way of my previously stated opinion. Obviously if the state's attorney has made the determination that it was punk, then of course she would be 100% correct. Punk or C@@n, they are both very inflammatory words in my opinion.

Sybrina had legal custody, but it was Tracy who identified Trayvon. I think that Miami Gardens is less than an hour from Sanford.

Miami Gardens is 240 miles away or about four hours drive from Sanford.

I'm concerned any apology before a verdict is rendered would ONLY be an attempt to save his rear..JMHO

I'm wondering how you can begin to apologize for murdering their child!
It's not like he ran into the street and he ran over him...he pulled the trigger..how can you apologize for that? ^i^

I'm cheap, too! 74 here in the summer, with all ceiling fans spinning on high.

LOL, I have the ceiling fans spinning all 365 days of the year!

Poor Taafe on Dr. Drew lying and saying the police noted on the police report bruising on Zimmerman's head.
Oh really! Which one Mr. Taffe? 1 or 2. Or is there another one that y'all quickly typed up to cover your behind?

I'd rather see the notes from the EMT, thank you very much. They would be unbiased, IMO.

And they would be correct and accurate, they are law enforcement personnel.

I have a strange feeling that if a janitor identified themselves as law enforcement personnel when attempting to give "suggestions", they would be arrested on impersonation charges fairly quickly. That just doesn't fly, and calling yourself "law enforcement" anything when you're not a sworn officer of the law is venturing onto very dangerous and shaky grounds.

As I said before, they also dispatch FD and EMS, but I wouldn't call them "firefighting personnel" or "emergency medical personnel" any more than I would call them "law enforcement personnel". It's a disingenuous term that implies they're acting in a capacity they aren't qualified to act in.

HIS FATHER identified him from a picture on an officers cell phone, and at the morgue.....and it would seem likely that the hundreds of family and friends at his funeral most likely recognized him!

jmo

But how do we know they had an open casket?

Even in Florida 60 is not cold considering a lot of people set their air conditioning in the 60's down there. 50 is cold for them.....60 is cool but not f***en cold. It was 60 here today, not cold at all. jmo

I haven't read all of the posts leading to yours, but if the discussion related to what was said on the 911 call, the probable cause affidavit says "[eff]ing punks." Not "cold" or the racial slur. I don't remember seeing anything definitive about that other than from the expert whose title I can't recall (not the guy with the software). I wonder who ultimately did the analysis.

I too have also seen the reaction of police officers firsthand in the days after they have been forced to take a life, have held several in my arms and let them cry their eyes out. So yes I understand the delayed reaction, in my personal experienced opinion, 6 weeks later as his arse is sitting in a jail cell GZ was NOT crying from the "shock" of just having taken a life, GZ was crying for his on sorry self.

As always this is jmo, imo and all that jazz - with the add personal, up close experience of having consoled several very close LE friends.

I still stand by what I say -- And to add: GZ will be damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. If he didn't cry some would believe he was soulless character who didn't care about the pain and suffering he caused. He cried so he only cares about himself.

I would be crying too. And for a long time had I shot someone. Even if I felt I had to. Either way, he's still wrong for his crying to some. Okay then....
