What is kinda sad is that they waited until after he was charged with murder to come forward? Why didn't they come forward before? They could remain anonymous?

But whatever... can't wait to see photographs!

In Sanford, she said, watch groups are not even supposed to make the rounds. That is the job of another kind of volunteer organization, Citizens on Patrol, whose members are selected and trained by the police and who drive the streets in a specially marked vehicle. Members of that group, Ms. Dorival said, “are armed only with a radio.”

A wide range of neighborhood watch organizations exist across the country. Some have patrols, while others like Sanford’s do not. But the National Sheriffs’ Association, which sponsors the program nationwide, is absolutely clear on one point: guns have no place in a watch group. A manual distributed by the association repeatedly underscores the point: “Patrol members do not carry weapons.”

The manual warns that watch members should “not attempt to apprehend a person committing a crime or to investigate a suspicious activity.” It should be emphasized to members of patrols, the materials state, that “they do not possess police power and they shall not carry weapons.” The consequences of not following the guidelines are severe, the manual states: “Each member is liable as an individual for civil and criminal charges should he exceed his authority.”

What made me wonder if GZ could have been in the CoPs program is that if you look at the 46 calls made to the non-emergency number, obviously he had more than one neighborhood he was watching over. Also, when I looked at his booking report here:
http://cfnews13.com/content/dam/new...ents/george-zimmerman-booking-report-0412.pdf

I noticed he had a second charge- AMA alert. I looked that up and this is what it said:
00.08 WEAPONS - PROHIBITIONS
The possession of a weapon, or any type of firearm, is not permitted on County property, in County
facilities, at County work sites or in County vehicles. The sole exception shall be where such
possession or use of a weapon is a necessary and approved requirement of the employee's job.
Violations of this provision shall result in disciplinary action.

It's all rather curious if you ask me. JMO,IMHO and all that.

:floorlaugh: I just asked that!

See, I knew you were going to ask that, Lola. I can also do card tricks and discern swelling beneath bandages at 20 paces.

Nope, no more than I believe that if George had the injuries he claimed to have, pics would have been taken and his family would have been circulating them to every news media outlet (for a fee of course...). JMO~

I agree... George's family & supporters would've been waving the medical reports like flags if he really had injuries, lol... his father, brother, taaffe, joe oliver & the 2 lawyers wouldn't have had to tell such rehearsed tall tales of what (didn't) happen that night to take the heat off George if there were any med records. No records = no injuries. all jmo

I am really sorry, but I have no idea where you got some of this information from?

Why wouldn't he be able to see Trayvon walking? He was wearing a gray sweatshirt? Some say it could even be the one we have seen him wearing in pictures? It's not like he was walking naked down the sidewalk?

MOO

And it was raining, that light gray hoodie would have turned into a dark gray hoodie when it got soaked. Brandy Greene suggested that Tray actually made it home, so she would have know this how? Maybe the little brother? At any rate, if he was that far down the sidewalk when GZ passed, there's no way GZ would have been able to see him. Even a lot of the witnesses said it was too dark to tell about some things.

B&CBM

Weapons are not to be carried by those citizen volunteers who are working in an organized neighborhood patrol capacity.

Yes, and they are not to be carried by members of neighborhood watch, either.

I might have to go peek downstairs if I know ya'll are holding back information that has been released? Like eye witnesses who seen George's injuries and bandages after the fact?

Please don't make me go down there and lead me to where I can find this information. :please:

Are we allowed to post youtube links? If so, I can get one of the witnesses stating they saw his injuries.

I'm not sure if it would have made any difference if these neighbors came forward sooner rather than later. What photographs?

Main stream media aka MSM are the only links allowed. See the first post on this thread for more info or PM a mod.

That is the policy of Leon County, likely for employees of the county. I don't find what you are talking about anywhere in the Florida Statutes...It doesn't even apply in this situation.

When and where did Brandy Greene say this?

On the day they filmed her and Tracy doing the walk thru of where his body was found.

So witness "John" says GZ "was yelling to me help, help, and I told him to stop and I was calling 911."

Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/hanni...ating-george-zimmerman-shooting#ixzz1sMEBbZmS

According to the police report, GZ said, "I was yelling for someone to help me, but no one would help me."

Discuss.

There is no contradiction here. By "help" GZ likely means physical help. Whereas "John" didn't physically helped GZ but instead went to call 911.

Why do you think it's obvious he was calling about more than one neighborhood? :waitasec:

That's a tidbit that I find to be very curious: the area in which Martin's body was found was lit, though it's not clear how well. There are lights on the back of the houses, in addition to whatever light is coming from inside the homes. I can't tell from the pictures of the back path area, but usually there are also light posts at set intervals, aren't there?
In any case, it was along the path that split the backyard area between the rows of townhouses, and that's an area that the residents apparently used often, not some dark alleyway or anything. So I'm unclear as to why visibility was such an issue.

I have not been able to locate the Seminole County Neighborhood Watch Guidelines that address that issue... do you have it? TIA

On the day they filmed her and Tracy doing the walk thru of where his body was found.

Okay, so Brandy Greene says TM made it back to her place, and she would know this how? Because her 14 year-old son told her?

Yet, this same 14 year-old wouldn't notice, or couldn't be bothered to tell Trayvon's father any of this, and instead Mr. Martin has to call around town searching for his son?

Sorry, that just doesn't sound plausible to me.

We have no PROOF that GZ did anything in the way of provoking a physical confrontation.. they asked him not to follow Tray,he said OK and then he went in the opposite direction to get the address from they next street. By that time, it was dark. He would not have been able to see Tray if he was half way down that sidewalk. It was on his way back that the confrontation happened. He was attacked from behind. We have saw photos, we have seen/heard witness accounts of the bandages he had, and of his swollen/bandaged nose. My goodness, what more does one need to make an assessment of who was the aggressor here?

What photos? You really think GZ followed instructions?
