Amazing the leaps and bounds people have to do to blame an unarmed kid walking down the street in GZ's world.

:truce:
I had to do more than just 'thank' this wonderful post.

I think it should be your new siggy line!

O'Mara - George was wearing bullet-proof vest

Funny how the blood on that picture is flowing to the right and the left and not just straight down. Sure isn't much blood for a head wound.

I expect that's what the gravity would do if he's sitting with his head bowed down.

GZ said "I'm sorry for the loss of your son" Like as if TM died during some other circumstances.. sigh

Looks faked to me.

I guess if you are bleeding in slow-mo and turning your head to the side and then the other, again in slow-mo so it runs just right.

But that is just my opinion. :what:

George Zimmerman couldn't even give Trayvon's parents an honest apology. By saying he didn't know how old Trayvin's was, he lost all credibility with me. If you're in your late twenties, and you identify someone as being in their late teens, how can you later say you thought the person was a few years younger than you?

On phone-excuse errors...

You would think that he would hit the gas pedal and get outta there before this crazy car circler starts firing in the truck.

Well, I would think anyway.

Part of the Stand Your Ground law deals with duty to retreat. Florida is vague (of course), but this will come out during the SYG hearing whether George had a duty to retreat during this encounter.

Not saying this is the right thing to do, but legally, he might have some ground here.

Zimmerman's lawyer just said on insessions he knew the family refused to meet to hear the apology. IMO

GZ ambushed the parents same as he ambushed TM. Too bad he will most likely walk free!

Yes. I noticed that too. Supports the claim(s) that the two were rolling around.

What? I wasn't blaming an unarmed kid for anything.
I don't believe the story that he was circling the vehicle three times.

and yet again why does O'Mara need to run out and jump right in front of the cameras?

~jmo~

and yet again, O'Mara was not the only one that ran out and jumped in front of the camera.:)

911 dispatcher:
How old would you say he is?
Zimmerman:
He’s got a button on his shirt.. late teens.

911 dispatcher:
OK, what’s your apartment number?
Zimmerman:
It’s a home. It’s 1950 – Aw, crap, I don’t want to give it out loud – I don’t know where this kid is [3:40]

--today----i'm sorry blah di blah-----i thought he was a little bit younger than me.....
So many stories so little time...Thank you for posting this...

Someone just said this on TV. Also, they said it's not consistent with having your head beaten on concrete. They said it looked like Trayvon was defending himself, and we will have to wait for the DNA results. I believe the timing of when DNA should have been back, and the filing of 2nd degree murder, were about the same. :waitasec:

I remember you saying yesterday if there was evidence of injuries that it would take the wind out of your sails. The detective got up there today and basically testified that he had injuries, specifically to the back of the head.

Just interested in your opinion on that.

Just for the record: IMO, GZ is a wanna be hero. He is a controlling man who disregards the wishes of others and he appears to be paranoid and possibly more than just a little. Because of his overwhelming desire to "help" people and to intervene when he is told not to and the fact that he feels the need to carry a concealed semi-automatic pistol with hollow point bullets, IMO he is a dangerous man.

Paranoia and guns are a bad combination.

I absolutely concur with this. It can't be stressed enough. He acted paranoid in court today as well. Astute post!

Anyone who goes into a courtroom should know full well that in a court of law both sides are heard. I'm seriously stunned that it would be even remotely suggested that the defendant should be silenced because what he has to say might be upsetting. This is America. This is justice. The defendant is allowed to be heard. I can't imagine wanting our justice system to work any differently.

JMO, OMO, and :moo:

I totally agree with you.
He had every right, as an American to be heard.

The judge allowed it.

They parents have to know that during these hearings and the trial if it happens, there will be information that will be upsetting.

Since most on this board who are against Z wanted him to publicly apologize and show "remorse" - why be upset when he does it? I think he came off very humbly, and sincerely.

I wanted him to apologize but 2 months ago, not today, not this way.

Can you fake the metadata of the pic on an iphone pic?

The ABC video shows the photo was taken that evening

Absolutey you can change the metadata on any pic taken on an iphone:

Editing Meta Data

Once you have opened up a photo or looked at the meta data it's then possible to edit it. Editing the meta data will mean that you can change the contents of the data. You can adjust the location or change the description or other fields. Because this is a dedicated Meta Data editor it does the job very well, which means that there is very little chance that the data will ever be corrupted.

"Scuffle" does not equate to head banging on the concrete. Body found no where near concrete. Something is fishy with GZ's statements. The prosecution tried to bring out some inconsistencies in the bond hearing. I think there are many to come.

---it was all over the media yesterday that trayvon's parents didn't want to hear it at this time------they felt it unappropriate , 50 days later, to offer up this "apology" the day before his bond hearing.

--kind of like "we don't need you to do that.." (apologize to us right now...)

--today---george---(yeah, so what, i'm going to do it anyway ) "I would like to apologize....."

HLN------benjamin crump, family attorney----'The family was outraged by the court room 'apology'.."

They can't prevent him from talking, apology or otherwise. Just because they don't want to hear it doesn't mean they can control what he says and doesn't say. If he throws himself at their feet crying for forgiveness, they can't prevent that either.
