:steamed: Right. In front of the court and media who are covering the hearing live. :hoppingmad:

After that disgusting display put on by GZ on the stand - FORCING the victims parents to listen to his CRAP - and O'Mara allowing it! I have lost any respect for O'Mara that was building, to force the parents to have NO choice but to listen to the CRAP that GZ was spewing after they had already stated they would NOT do it right now, O'Mara needs to be sitting in the jail cell right along with his client!

O'Mara just got lower than Baez, in my books and I didn't think that was humanly possible!

Then you are indeed fortunate..Most do not fair so well

BBM.

This is just not true. I was the victim of assault and had my head repeatedly slammed into a hard floor. My head wounds did not bleed and, because of my long hair, the painful lumps were not visible to others.

There are bizarre exceptions to every rule. I was a preschool teacher and daycare worker for years. I saw multiple head wounds over the years (fall off jungle gym, fall off trike, bump into underside of table, etc.) They bleed copiously and easily.

Also, who goes to the store with a gun and two flashlights attached to their hip?? To go and get milk? Yeah! Another lie!

It only takes common sense to figure out that George never stopped following Trayvon. How else did he end up right behind him again to where Trayvon asked him "Why are you following me?"

Now we're hearing he told LE that Trayvon circled his truck three times and there is no mention of that on the call to LE?? He was telling stories from the very beginning. He didn't know that call was recorded, IMO, and he decided to make it look better for him. That shows a guilty conscious and one who is trying to distance themselves from any kind accountability for his actions.

If he didn't do anything wrong, he wouldn't lie.

MOO

The fact that Trayvon asked "why are you following me" or "do you have a problem" is significant to me. :moo:

But if someone was there before LE, then the timeline is really messed up.

911 shot with the gunshot on it began at 7:16:11 according to one of the timelines linked in a previous thread.
Shot fired at 44 seconds into the call or at 7:16:55
Officer Timothy Smith said he arrived at 7:17 according to the initial report.
Officer Ayalla arrived at 7:19 according to the initial report.

But the claim by ABC News in that story is that this photo was taken 3 minutes after the shooting? That would have been about 7:20 AFTER the arrivals of Smith and Ayalla.

Smith claimed he immediately placed GZ in custody.
Ayalla said when arrived GZ already in custody.

Photo shows GZ not cuffed, holding a cell phone to his ear?

Somebody is lying about the times! :maddening::banghead:

IMO, JMO, etc.

ITA. The timeline, IMO, has been messed up since day one. The only reason I can come up with is that the devices everyone is using to calculate the timeline with (various phone calls and cell phones) were not synchronized.

You said it's possible he fell while chasing TM. I take it by the time he said 'what are you doing here', he caught up with him, phone dropped, scuffle ensued, shot fired.

OK thanks. I still think there would be time in there for GZ to trip and fall. It takes only a second or 2 for something like that to happen.

Consider this:

At the time TM's gf gets cut off, GZ has grabbed TM, or shoved him to the ground. (causing the call to get disconnected)TM gets up and tries to run or defend himself. GZ either pursues or struggles with TM and falls on the slippery grass/sidewalk and smashes his own head.

I'm not saying this is what happened, I'm just showing that any of it is quite possible.

I think you'd be surprised. I personally don't, but I've known of people that have flashlights as part of their everyday carry for one reason or another. JMO

From looking at GZ's noggin in that pic..I see that phone tohis ear..I wonder who he was consulting at 719 before being cuffed??? I am sure his phone records have been seized and they know exactly who the first person he called was!! Wanna bet it was his pappa..asking what should he do now???

LOL Ohhh yeah..do what comes naturally. Claim self defense..its worked in the past :rocker:

Has this been posted? It's supposedly taken the night Trayvon was killed.

A new photograph obtained exclusively by ABC News shows a bloodied George Zimmerman with injuries on the back of his head on the night he shot and killed Trayvon Martin. (ABC)

The woulds look like they could have been made by clawing with fingernails, especially the one on the right since it is so horizontal and straight.

I never said anything about who struck who first, simply that the injuries are consistent with an assault against GZ...a fact that many people did not believe were possible before this picture was released. Hell, even after the enhanced booking area video was released, people were talking about how minor his injuries were. Sure does not look minor to me.

Nobody credible has said anything about Zimmerman being the physical instigator, Corey's PC affidavit simply talks about "stalking" and "profiling" TM and an confrontation taking place.

The only thing that the injuries are consistent of...is at most a tussle or a scuffle. GZ could have obtained the minor injuries rolling around on the ground. (For all we know the injury could have been self-inflicted from the butt of his gun????)

What I find curious is... why the obviously altered photo was released 50+ days after the the homicide of Trayvon Martin? Hmmm.... :waitasec:

JMHO~

Of course, circumstantial can be powerful. But it also expects jurors to follow the dots and make assumptions. And when someone is on trial for LIFE in prison, they don't always like to make those assumptions.

Imo, the state should have gone with manslaughter.

I completely agree. Manslaughter is supported by the evidence and by common sense, IMHO.

Murder 2 is crazy. Especially in light of the bloody horizontal cuts on the back of Z's head - looks like the edge of a sidewalk to me.

Aren't sidewalk edges also horizontal and straight?

Well since you asked, I kinda do. I just do not have them attached to my hip. But there are at least 2 flashlights in the car and yes a gun. And sometimes a *dangerous breed* dog. But then I am not patrolling my neighborhood either.

BBM.

This is just not true. I was the victim of assault and had my head repeatedly slammed into a hard floor. My head wounds did not bleed and, because of my long hair, the painful lumps were not visible to others.
But, I got my head beat repeatedly on a hard floor, massive wounds, open, cut, lumps on lumps. Very, very visible.

All injuries are different. IMO - George's are minimal, and there is something off about this picture. If LE did not take it, I am not buying it. Period.

Come on? He didn't work in construction or anything like that. He had no reason to be carrying those things on him if he was simply making a trip to the store for some milk.

He was not making a run to the store, IMO.

How do we know he's not cuffed?
He could have been cuffed in the front and holding his left arm up so that he could use his right arm to hold the phone to his ear.

I don't understand how we can know he's not cuffed.

They usually cuff behind the back to secure in an open area. For court they are cuffed in front. jmo

He told the officer as soon as he got there that he shot TM.

According to this new article, he told this 'person' to call his wife that he just shot someone.

All of this happened within a few minutes. I haven't seen any evidence of GZ shying away or not owning up to shooting him.

Where in my post do I even imply something like that? I said he was already thinking about covering his butt. Meaning , evidence to say it was SYG or whatever. No one has ever said he denied shooting him!
