You know, the more I listen to this 911 call made by GZ, the more convinced I am that it is indeed the sound of a gun being cocked.

Just before he says his last name is Zimmerman, you can hear that cocking noise. (2:13)

Our member, Anadarko posted this video a while back, showing us the sounds of the exact same gun. The noises are extremely similar to me.

Thanks - no enhancing. I just ran the video at full screen and kept going back and forth until I managed to pause it at a good shot. I had to crop since otherwise the picture would be too big to post on the forum. I could do an auto adjust in Photoshop, but the image is so pixelated it wouldn't help much.

I don't think its him either now that I've seen it close up, but what is that dark color under his nose ? maybe its a shadow from the lights, or could it be blood maybe from his nose ? the face seems a little distorted its hard to tell.

It actually looks as though the guy has a bloody nose. But the eyebrows don't match GZ so I still don't think it's him. I'd love to have verification where this video is from!

Can someone please provide me with a source-link that shows to a certainty that the screen cap above is a true and accurate representation of GZ on the night of Feb. 26 2012? If not, I need to do some sweeping up.

I can't tell you the exact moment it's from - but they re-ran the same clip over and over.

I don't think it is GZ. It just doesn't look like him to me. IMO, JMO, etc.

I thought the first time I heard it right after Andarko made her video that it sounded very similar to me. It makes me nauseous just listening to him talk on that 911 call.

I am late to this discussion, but I want to say something about this. O'Mara said he didn't have a chance to talk to his client before the hearing about the money. That in no way can be true. He had every opportunity if he wanted to talk to his client in jail. I suspect he steered clear of this discussion on purpose. I am tired of the media having people on who sympathize and make excuses for GZ. I hope I haven't offended anyone, but it bothers me greatly how this has polarized the country to the extent that people will give this accused killer thousands of dollars. jmo

JVM just replayed on TV so I made it a point to watch for the video footage in question. Watching video on my computer right now is not so easy. I watched just long enough to see the footage in question about 3 times. Once a day with Jane, is enough for me, so not going to watch the rest of it. The footage lasts probably 2 seconds, before its covered with all that other stuff.

First of all, it went so fast, that it was one really sharp eyed viewer to even catch that there was a person there. Secondly, the way the whole sequence was edited, there would be no reason whatsoever to believe that the footage didn't belong, that it wasn't part of the story about that night in Sanford. I mean, that is exactly what it is meant to imply, imo. What average viewer would notice or question? So, kudos to those who noticed it and brought it to our attention.

The bloody head photo corroborates GZ's story. It's a simple as that. Whether the photo is authentic or not, only time will tell.

That photo doesn't fit the description he gave of the beating he said he received from TM. If his face didn't show a smashed nose and other evidence of a beating of that magnitude, I do not believe his story.

I really think he is jealous of the national attention GZ is getting and has hooked his wagon to gain fame.

This tells me that not everyone believes he is a cold blooded murderer - maybe that's MOM's strategy in announcing the funds...letting the SP know the jury might not be the slam dunk they were banking on, so to speak.

Let us prevent a massive derailment of the train by all agreeing that Mr. O'Mara is a PAST president of the Seminole County Bar Association, and leaving Mr. Hornsby out of it for the time being.

I think the SP's "slam dunk" has more to do with evidence than a jury pool. JMO
