2-Year-Old Girl Rescued From Standoff At Daycare; Heroin, Meth, Cocaine Found Inside

Police say they later obtained a search warrant and went inside the house, where they found 12.6 grams of meth, 7.3 grams of brown heroin, 28.2 grams of black tar heroin, 1.3 grams of cocaine, and 550 prescription pills — including Methadone, Adderall, Xanax, Tramadol, Oxycodone and Clonazepanm.

Officers also found a Sig Sauer P250 40 caliber handgun.

The recovered drugs were reportedly worth over $35,000.

Brimm, 27, faces second-degree kidnapping and child abuse charges, along with several other charges related to drugs.

Kilgore, 45, was arrested on charges of attempting to influence a public servant.

$35,000 worth of drugs. Why would they feel the need to run a daycare of all things?
And why do people leave their children in unlicenced places?

So the daycare, was a cover.
People may come in, for drugs, and perhaps little suspicion from neighbours.

So, drop off your kids and pick up drugs? I am not sure about that.

No. The DayCare was probably used as cover because one way drug dealers get busted, is neighbors seeing so many cars coming and going, in short intervals.

So having a phony day care is a good excuse for all the visitors to be coming and going.

As for why people would go to unlicensed DC---pretty irresponsible. But I am sure it was much less expensive as it was just a cover for the money making business.

And she probably convinced wary parents by saying she didn't get licensed because it is so expensive, and it is a way to keep costs down, blah blah blah.

Probably those coming for drugs, are not bringing their kids in for daycare, I would think.

Yes, but they were actually pretending to look after kids.

Right. She probably felt 'safer' by doing so. It gave them something to claim when they filed their taxes. And it made it possible for them to say hi to the neighbors, as they could pretend they had a legal, normal job.

They were unlicensed. Did they file taxes? Wasn't it just money in hand?
