2008.07.30 Brian B. Interview

There was a phone number posted here from one of the documents.
If you Google the # it takes you to "someone" selling his black Jeep...
It has no doors. (How could Casey have driven the jeep through the car wash with no doors?)

It wasn't Tony selling the Jeep. It was another friend - different Jeep.

doesn't this brian also state that he heard fighting over father's day weekend?
but now he states he returned home from chicago June 16th
and doesn't mention any fight

That's my question. Was it Brian or one of his family members who heard the fight on the 15th, or another neighbor? I keep wondering if who ever heard the fight also saw if KC left the house and if she did was she alone or with Caylee.

There are a number of friends KC has that drive supped up trucks, SD is one with an S10, but he doesn't fit the dark haired man appearance. But he does have alot of friends that all drive trucks with after market body kits, dumping the truck low and custom paint jobs.:waitasec: I am still searching through the phone records. I am determined to figure out who it was now for sure! LOL

June 18 OR 19 Casey borrowed the shovel about 1:30PM from Brian B. when he was doing yard work; to dig up a bamboo root. Casey went back to the house and went into the garage, her car was backed in and the garage door was open.
Casey retuned the shovel to Brian B. about 2:30PM. She had not changed clothing. The shovel was not dirty and looked no different than when he gave it to her.

Brian B. Interview with LE on July 30, 2008http://flawebhosting.net/docs092308/bb092308.pdf

LE: Now you took a vacation to Chicago in June. And you took your whole family?
BB: Yes
LE: OK, you indicated on this calendar here, you, you left on the 10th of June. You drove always the there?
BB: Yes.
LE: And uh, you spent the time in Chicago. Came back home. And you returned home on June 16th?
BB: Yes.
EE: Is that correct? You say you had the week of the 15th through the 21st [sic June] off because you were still on vacation. So you where at home?
BB: Correct
Page 1385 Lines 20 –25 & Page 1386 Lines 1-6

EE: Now you say that uh, you got home on the 16th [sic June] about what time?
BB: Around 6:00PM

Page 1386 Lines 11-13

BB: Uh, I just briefly noticed she had backed in and practically one time that I am uh, really aware of.
LE: On the 17th?
BB: On the 17th.
Page 1387 Lines 1-4

LE: Now the 18th or 19th you can’t really knock down which one with any certainty.
BB: Right
LE: But you know that is one of the two days you did yard work at your place.
BB: Right
……
BB: Casey had approached me and asked if she could borrow a shovel. She you known needed to dig up a; a bamboo root she had been tripping over.
LE: What time of day was this?
BB: Uh, approximately one thirty in the afternoon
….
BB: ….I followed her back out front and she walked into her garage. And at that point her car was backed in and her garage door was open. She walked into the garage …
Page 1388 Lines 5-8, 14-17, 20-23

BB: Finished my shower. It was uh, right around two o’clock. I came at of my, uh,
My bedroom and asked my son if Casey had come back and he said no. So I just proceeded to watch TV. And then it was approximately around two-thirty when Casey knocked at the door, returning the shovel.
…
BB: It didn’t appear that she had uh, changed and clothing.
Page 1389 Lines 8-11, 16

BB: No sweat. She didn’t appear to be muddy, or the shovel wasn’t even muddy.
LE: But you do day you recall seeing a, a ring, a dirt mark on the shovel?
BB: Dirt mark, which may have…
LE: Which could have been there?
BB: …been there before.
LE: Okay, so the shovel may have not even been utilized uh, above and beyond where you had..
BB: Right.
LE: Utilized it in the past.
BB: Right.

That shovel that she borrowed from BB me puzzles. I can't really see KC digging a hole big enough to bury Caylee. I was thinking perhaps she was shoveling sand from the sandbox to take with her as a way of sinking and weighting down the poor little girl's body in some swamp or lake.

The shovel was not really dirty when it was returned and sand would not be muddy or sticky. I believe she had the shovel for an hour. Her car was backed up so maybe she had a bucket of some sort full of and she as putting in the trunk.

Do you think all those gas cans she was collecting were used as weights after she may have filled them with sand?
