It just doesn't make since why they are changing their stories so much. Daughter or no daughter, they need to tell what they know. I love my kids but I don't think that I could sit up there and lie for them especially when it could involve the murder of a grandchild.

He must be lying. Weird, I'm really confused now.

I think it is possible that he is including the cost of the actual gas cans and the lock on the shed in the $50 amount??

I'm telling you when Greta puts this video up, everyone needs to watch it. I am 100% convinced that the Anthonys are too far gone to be reliable about any information and Casey knows EXACTLY where that child is.

I think it's worth watching just to see the contradictions between what they're saying now and what they said earlier, to see cindy trying to shut George up...

...to see that these people that for days had the LAST KNOWN DATE of the "kidnapped" child WRONG, but have TWO other times down to the minute conveniently "remembered." Whatever.

Law enforcement has to be LOVING this...and whatever else Greta has in 2 hours worth of tape!

the report is confusing; on the first page it states:

value of the cans = $20
value of the gas = $50

then on the second page of the report - it states:

$50 value of theft
$50 damage

It sounds like George called LE at 10:20 AM to report the theft. LE took the report at 10:37. So if Casey stopped by - it was later in the day.

It doesn't sound like George called LE back once he knew that Casey had taken the gas and cans. However, I don't know that for sure.

Greta sure made the rounds today,lol. I am just sitting here shaking my head. None of the people involved in this case exhibit any common sense. Everytime they open their mouths we get a new version of what is going on. It boggles my mind, so much so that I cannot wait to see this interview over again.

Cindy admitted knowing something. LE said that Casey had a spokesperson that gave them info (anyone else catch that?). George admitted that Casey stole his gas.
Baez side stepped that entire issue.

This is just crazy.

Thanks for letting us know. I missed the interview witht he grandparents. I just caught the end of Greta talking with the lawyer and I saw her talking with Mark Furman (sp?).

Cindy understands her daughter very well. She has lived a lifetime putting up with Casey's lies and was tired of it, so finally called the police.

You wonder how kids develop this way and why the parents allow it? Her parents are major liars and will do anything to protect themselves and their daughter. They taught her that!

It all makes sense! Casey grew up with parents as liars and NEVER had to be accountable. Her parents never made her accountable.

She knew that if she told enough stories, lies, excuses, she would always win as she exhausts everyone, leads them in circles, and tries to confuse them.

She is a true sociopath and narcissist and her parents contributed to the way she turned out. They knew and know now what is happening, but refuse to face it, as they allowed this to happen.

I am absolutely astounded that they are trying to protect her, lying to friends, family, police, FBI, and the media. We know why Casey thinks that she can get away with this.

There is enough info in the Greta show tonight to keep us all busy sluething for a long time. And more tomorrow.

Seriously, all her parents are doing now is laying out more evidence and lies, hoping to move the story their way. Like Mother, like daugher. I am amazed her father is allowing this to happen also.

Everyone in that family has forgotten about Caylee. What a shame!

Actually I think Greta did a good job overall.
She did ask the questions, even though the answers were mostly lies, from Cindy.
George came clean about the gas cans. Jose is a BSer IMO.

edit to add: I don't know why she called, I was flicking between channels and saw LKL had Cindy on the phone but I can't take anymore of that woman's lies so I turned the channel.

It doesn't make any sense whatsoever! Even if George had reported the gas cans stolen earlier in the day, then found them in Casey's car, why didn't he call the police and amend the report?

George's explanation has all the earmarks of a story made up after the fact to cover for Casey.

It wasn't on Greta, and I only caught a portion of NG. I will watch the repeat of LKL (in one hour) and the repeat of NG (in two hours).

Close could mean a lot of things...close to home, close to coming home, etc. per Cindy.

They're more or less admitting some of what Casey says is her code...but they don't seem to know what is or what isn't.

Good point TravelingBug. I always think that when Casey says "close to home" that she is referring to where Caylee is buried". If I were the police, I would follow that route that Casey took them on. I think Casey is too lazy and thinks she is invincible, to go out of her way. I think when she says "close to home", she is speaking the truth in her own way. There is always some truth to a liar.

I still think that Casey thinks she will get out of this jam. After all, her Mom and Dad are trying, again, to take care of all of her messes!

Casey has no clue!

Today Lee said that the young man who was Caylee's father didn't know he was the father and that they've known for years who he was, that he and Casey met through mutual friends at school. That his family doesn't know about Caylee. He died in a car wreck and she didn't go to the funeral. It was out of state.

Tonight Cindy says that the young man who was Caylee's father lived in another state and that he had already started another family by the time Casey was pregnant.
That it was a mutual decision between him and Casey that his family would not know about Caylee. He died.
