I have to watch the rerun of NG later, but LP didn't say which day Casey called JC Penney or the fifteen minutes? I wonder why Casey would be calling a store like JC Penney even if that was one of her stolen credit cards.

I didn't get to watch the initial broadcast of NG tonight and had to wait for the re-broadcast. LP said that it was the morning of June 27th that she called J.C. Pennys. Then he said the part about the 15 minutes.

Yeah a spare office with a bed in it. I think there is more going on here than your basic lawyer client "relationship" I have NEVER heard of a lawyer allowing a client to "hang out" 6 hours a day at their office. What do you do for 6 hours a day in a spare room at your lawyers office... that you could not do in your own room at home. I would be very curious to hear what the Wife has to say about all this? Would love to be at the water cooler in that office or better yet a fly on the wall!!!
Yes he is married from my understanding with kids.

She spends time at his office so she isn't home. He probably has a nice set up for her there.

:waitasec:I'm wondering why would KC need a "secret phone."

Who would be be talking to? Does she even have any friends now that would even talk to her?

All of Casey's friends prior to her arrest probably want nothing to do with her now. But, Casey has been online since she's been on home confinement and has probably made some new friends.

We see male murderers - Scott Peterson, Drew Peterson, Ted Bundy, and others - have female fans who want to become their girlfriend. Ted Bundy even got married while on death row. So, there may be some new young male friends who want to be Casey's new boyfriend. Casey may be attracting young males with, let say, unsavory leanings.......someone who would do anything for her including breaking the law, by helping her escape.

I just don't understand why Baez even wasted the paper to file this motion.[/quote said:
I wonder if this is something he agreed with, or something she is insisting he do. I just can't fathom him even asking. :banghead: :o

NG had no sound on my cable last night, I recorded it and none of the reruns had any sound..jeez... So Im reading this catching up on what I missed.... With that said...

The secret cell phone: Her phone was being shut off for non payment, KC had to know there was a good chance that AH checkbook was pretty dry at the point she made the payment. I would bank on the fact that this wasnt the first time for a shut off of the phone for non payment. So she probably had a prepaid for awhile to compensate for anytime it was shut off, hence 2 cell phones she stated. My first thought actually on this was OMG, they are using the "gift card" donations to buy her extra minutes...

JCPenny: If she loved the child and all this was an accident, I can see her wrapping Caylee in her own blanket and putting her somewhere with her baby doll "mama". But we all know Caylees favorite baby was in the car... KC didnt care about Caylee enough to do any of those things. She called JCP to see if her mother shut off the card and find out the limit. If I had to take a guess she was looking to buy TonE a gift, clothing or something like that. And/or to buy herself a new outfit to go to Fusion, she cant show up week after week in repeat clothing. Typical behaviour for her kind. I dont see anything to lead me to Caylee dead around JCP.

You have to remember she is a Sociopath, so you cant think normal...

I agree with you--she is conniving, and if she has someone to connive with, well...

He used some kind of ground penetrating radar in Aruba to search for Natalee. He does have some very high tech equipment, I think.. and sometimes stuff is donated to his team to search with if he doesn't already own it.
God Bless Tim Miller... he is a giant among men!

I believe so. Remember the article about searching for bodies on Spahn ranch (Manson)? I'm sure Tim has much the same type of equipment.

Hey there LeLe, I recorded NG and I watched LP numerous times and here is what I think he was trying to say.

1. He believes that Casey got rid of the body before the 27th because she called Amy and told her she got rid of the smell in the car.

2. The night of the 26th she parked the car at Amscott.

3. The morning of the 27th she went back to Amscott got the car went to Mom's house and called JCP.

4. Then she spent 15 minutes at a location where they have telephone signals.

5. I think this is the location where Padilla believes the body was disposed of and the 15 minutes at the location was to check on it.

That was my interpretation.

Hmmm......Who picked her up @ amscot on the 26th ??......& who took her back to amscot on the 27th ??

I have read most of the messages here on this thread, but, please, can someone explain what the defense lawyers were saying on NG?

From my understanding there is no restriction on her defense in asking that she be allowed to search. But, the judge is the one who determines to allow/not allow it?

Please explain.

WW is Amy's boss who is smitten with KC - she was flirting like
mad with him up until she is going to the gate to meet TONE on his return from NY .........

I believe he also tried to see her in jail after her first arrest

he hasnt connected the dots and doesnt realize what a wingnut she is
Kc was definitely grooming him for the next mark

He has it bad for her - he is manager of Houlihans and is
30 years old

Well then he must be a complete moron.

It might be very alluring to someone who becomes obsessed with her to want to help her escape. The case that enters my mind is Colton Pitonyak and Laura Hall who fled together to Mexico--she imagined them to be a Bonnie and Clyde, daring and romantic.

I may be wrong but I think from what LP said the connection to JCP was were she called JCP from. I think he is implying where she called JCP from is where they might find the body
I am no sure why or where but thats my take

<<.........could this be in reference to a 'rug' I heard about somewhere back when the searches were going on? Rug and something else?>>

Ohhhh, what rug? I hadn't heard about this. Hmmm, that is interesting.

I will say... Leonard seemed wound up or excited. He seemed different.
Something's UP!

(personally, I think Leonard's comments deserve their own thread cuz he sure throws things out there very adamantly).

Well then he must be a complete moron.

maybe - guillible for sure - like I said he doesnt realize he dodged a big bullet - hasnt connected the dots - most of these wingnuts are very charming and KC tells everyone exactly what they want to hear - she mirrors them - they like her because she is reflecting their own preferences back to them -

it takes awhile before you realize they arent right and often they have
gotten what they wanted from you by then

Most dont see through them immediately unless they have already been burned by one

<<To me, throwing out theories and pursuing them is helpful and good, whether on WS or in the media. Brainstorming. It sponsors other ideas and enables dots to be connected or rejected. Post game analysis.>>

Couldn't agree more. Well said.

Hmmm...I am sure I heard that all the receipts were turned over except CA refused to hand over the JCPenney card.

There's so much materials here.. I hope LE uses good organizational software with Google desktop searching, cause I can't keep it all straight, not to mention they are actively pursuing new information and leads out in "the field".

But, someone please correct my vague memory, but I *think* I read that (Lee? said that) there were receipts in a nice little stack (in the backpack? I think part of the whole "backpack was too neat to have been packed by KC" section of an interview), but there or elsewhere, someone said that LE did not originally WANT the receipts, so Lee kept them, and then offered them again (?) and at that point said some from June (or earlier ones) were missing.
(I remember wondering why she only kept receipts after that date..)

I mostly agree:

1. He believes that Casey got rid of the body before the 27th because she called Amy and told her she got rid of the smell in the car.

Question: that sounds like it would be a coded conversation telling someone (amy) that she got rid of the body? I don't remember reading of this conversation.. I haven't found Amy to be someone suspicious, but that is a suspicious comment for casey to make to her..?

2. The night of the 26th she parked the car at Amscott.

I think with the body in the trunk

3. The morning of the 27th she went back to Amscott got the car went to Mom's house and called JCP.
4. Then she spent 15 minutes at a location where they have telephone signals.
5. I think this is the location where Padilla believes the body was disposed of and the 15 minutes at the location was to check on it.

I think that she decided overnight that leaving the body in the car at Amscott had too many things that could go wrong. So she goes back and gets the car. She then either buries (I hate to say "dumps" but that's probably what she did :( ) the body and then goes home to her mom's to clean up and gets the food and popsicles, drops car off, waits for AL (this scenario explains the popsicles... I am sorry, but AL's answer on the popsicles makes no sense. If you are holding a box of popsicles that are melted, you'd toss them in the dumpster you are sitting next to, so there's no chance of a sticky popsicle leak, OR you bring them to AL's freezer, and they are misshapen (which AL would remember if he ate one, or remember if they never made it to the freezer.) OR she gets the car, goes home for whatever reason, then goes to bury the body before dropping the car off at amscott the second time, and waiting for AL to pick her up. I think the JCPenney call is irrelevant except that it shows her location for 15 minutes in a swamp or somewhere odd.

That was my interpretation.

<<she got help pushing it into the Amscot lot sometime in the late evening, when it was dark out>>

I'm wondering, if this is true, why hasn't anyone stepped forward and stated they were the ones who helped her? I'm thinking, as high profile as this case is, surely the people who helped her would tell about it.
