Chilly ...I agree 100%

I remember that show very clearly & NG was strongly "Hinting" that it was the same dress Caylee was wearing in the photo

I like Nancy & I watch her every night but she definetly "Jumped The Gun" on the dress.....

Yes, she was really pushing that was the dress, Tim was clearly distressed about the dress being discussed before lab analysis, NG went so far as to say size 6 was appropriate for a 2.5 yo. Which made me question who dresses her kids.

Re who would have planted it? The picture of Caylee wearing the MM dress had been floating around since the the beginning, by coincidence the picture was my avie at the time, and it had been for some time. I didn't remember it being until another post pointed it out out. That doesn't answer the question tho. Anyone who would plant a size 6 dress for a crime against a 2.5 yo who had worn the dress at 18 mos isn't thinking it threw.

A discussion of a huge blow-up on the show is not 'bashing'.

I agree. I have been reading your posts for a long time and see that you like to pull in ideas from all sides. I appreciate that, but wonder why you watch NG if you don't like how her show is run?

That's how she has always been and always will be. No weakling there, none whatsoever. No matter what anyone thinks of her she IS a VICTIMS ADVOCATE. That would be CAYLEE, remember? :waitasec:

I bet Nancy can out bench press MN any day of the week. WOW, did he ever stutter over the poly question.

I've always thought that was entirely possible. It would be much easier to do if she was already 'out of it' so to speak. MOO

There was a recent case in Florida where a mother intentionally drown her son her the backyard pool, staged it as an accident, had his younger brother discover him in the pool. She got busted because he had defensive wounds from struggling and being held under.

I definitely think she choloformed her so there wouldn't be a struggle, no one would question a drowning of a toddler in Florida. But if the chloroform killed her instead of knocking her out you now have her body in the backyard for the dogs to detect, you have the gate and the ladder moved, you have the lack of grieving because it wasn't an accident, and you have the apparant lack of planning on what to do with the body for 2.6 days.

Cindy: We lost her. We lost her.

George: Who?

Cindy: Caylee.

We'll hear that exchange from today's doc drop again...in court.

I never said I don't like NG or how she runs her show. She was out of control tonight, IMO. I had no idea she was going to behave that way - but I'll admit, it would have made me more, not less, likely to tune in if I had known.

I thought it was a lot like watching a comedy tonight. To me, NG"s rudeness reduces the show to a comedic level instead of really delving into the case. I don't consider rehashing the show bashing either.

What I do consider bashing is the abuse the Anthony family has had to endure.

Yes, along the lines of Caylee was choloroformed, disoriented, and wandered out and drowned herself.
I was actually thinking of Casey holding her head under water which would be much easier to do if Caylee wasn't resisting, screaming or crying. MOO

What would she have stumbled into to drown? The pool is above ground with a removable 4.5ft ladder.

People need not watch NG nor appear on her show. It is that simple.

I love NG.

But, I think she was outlawyered tonight and missed an opportunity to ask C & G's lawyer some questions that would have made him wriggle.

Unless the dress turns out to be Caylee's it is wasting time talking about it on national tv.

IMO

Agreed, it's all about Caylee to me. You won't see a lot of posts from me as I don't just bash around this website. I think people get pleasure playing the "devil's advocate" or poking around to get a rise out of people on the Internet. I take them with a grain of salt and don't bite. I have been feeling extra hopeful lately....:)

I so agree about the "devils advocate" thing and that can be a good thing until it becomes nonsense. I try not to bite, but sometimes...so perhaps it's time for me to switch threads. gibby, I am very hopeful that Caylee will be found this weekend, this baby needs a final resting place. :blowkiss:

I think it's unlikely she would chloroform her AND then drown her. If she's already incapacitated why take the chance of getting caught in the backyard trying to drown her?

I don't think the dress was planted, I think it was just a coincidence that the dress was similar to one that Caylee had once worn. I recall once when my family moved to a new home. The dressers were loaded up on a pick-up truck but the drawers were not tied shut. When we got to the final destination one drawer, which had been jammed full of bras and panties, was open and empty. They'd blown out all over a 50 mile stretch of I-75.

Yes, exactly ~ or she still could've died from the drowning, and maybe Casey realized she might have to explain why she was at the house in the pool instead of at work so decided this couldn't be an 'accident' like maybe she'd first intended and started covering it up? Or that it might not be believed to be an accident? I do believe Caylee's body was in the yard in the beginning, which makes me also believe she died there at the house. MOO

MN was fighin' so he wouldn't be wigglin'.

Notice the questions stopped when the brawl began.

However, I don't think Mr. NeJ was all that happen about the result in the end.

"It's her show" doesn't give her a free pass to be ignorantly rude and disrespectful to her guests.

Oh please, MN didn't just crawl out of a bat cave yesterday. ANYONE who goes on her show knows how she is, esp if are taking a "defense" side. While I know MN isn't part of the "defense" team, he is there to "defend" the Anthony's. I don't think Nancy's rating would be very good if she offered her guest milk & cookies while they discuss a cold blooded killer. It would make most people puke up the milk.

Not true - the size 6 dress that was "found" or more like planted, was being touted by Nancy Grace as the same one that Caylee was wearing in her pictures when she was approx. 18 months old.

I'm awfully proud of Nejame tonight! :)

:waitasec: Why are you proud of the attorney representing G&C? I don't understand that one...pride is typically a personal thing, right?

  • #498
And yet so many seem to believe that style automatically makes a good 'advocate.'

All I see, is every tidbit of 'news' reduced to THE most simplistic viewpoint with no in depth thought to any subject.

It's very tiresome when Nancy gets angry with any guest who answers a question that disagrees with the script she has in mind. That helps victims.... how?

It doesn't, and although Nancy touts herself with a title of "victim's advocate", little that she does is ever in direct correlation with that self-given title.

I had to laugh tonight when she asked Nejame why he didn't return a phone call discrediting the dress as being Caylee's, and Nejame answered her with the truth - "it's the State's place to make that call, not me!"

To be an ex-Prosecutor, (although reprimanded as one several times by the Supreme Court), Nancy can't seem to grasp the very simple fact that Nejame has nothing to do with anything pertaining to Caylee, or Casey.

The show is not on enough for him to give a HUGE statement for each question. THe hour show is mostly repeated clips, commercials, and too many guest. This is not Larry King one guest and leisure Q&A YES or NO answers everyone knows the routine unless you are scolded to elaborate. It was very entertaining tonight Nejames is probably mad at himself for blowing up ...this is not how he is. They both had a chip on their shoulders it seems before it began...he won last time and she was going to win tonight. I was waiting for the FEED to be pulled.

Since the time change we don't get NG till late here. Watching it last nite made me think she was losing it. When they started discussing Caylee accidently ingesting chloroform, or being deceased via overdose she had tears in her eyes. I was sure she was going to break down.

She's not a closet believer that Caylee is alive is she?
