THANK YOU Potatohead......
I am still having a hard time trying to find my way around the different threads

Based on the number of photos taken and that it is the first piece of evidence photographed (released) at the scene and matches the description given in the written reports. It also matches the location noted on the map that was released. But yes, I cannot be 100% certain it is THE bag because there is no label indicating so. It may be a photo of a random, undocumented black garbage bag next to a white bag.
It was 18-21 foot. Pg. 3376 says a black plastic bag...as the first description so the canvas bag wasn't the most noticeable thing. Also, I believe they have barred any photos of the remains from being released so I highly doubt that very white bag is the beige canvas bag.
You are remembering the log correctly but forgetting that, after it was photographed in place it was moved in order to allow recovery of the skull. Pictures of the log in its original location are not included because they would show the skull.
Don't sell yourself short. If she walked to the palmetto the toss would only be 8 feet, 10 at the most. It was not an overhead toss or chest-level toss - it was a swinging toss. Little effort required.
She is too short to do a chest level toss. How tall is that canvas bag? Then how much taller when you hold on to the handles? Does it close with the wire hoop still there? Naw, I don't think its possible.
If she was tossing a weight that was equally-distributed throughout its volume onto a flat, level surface, I would agree that the odds of any one side coming up would be no higher than any other side. Given she was tossing a bag with all of the weight at the bottom into shallow water with a mucky bottom, I am willing to bet 999 out of 1000 times the weight will stay at the bottom and the opening will remain above it.
If you look at the elevation map it shows a downhill grade there so it would surely fall toward the downhill slope. It wasn't level ground.
I'm sorry, I thought you were referring to evidence submitted in July. The evidence you are referring to was submitted later than that. Depending on what was submitted, some of it was sent out as late as October.
Interesting...CFNEWS13 has removed links to the two tapes from their website, although the files are still there (I have the old links and can find them).
Apparantly, IF Casey put her there, she has more ambition and courage than some of the LE, going into snake infested land. She couldn't have been thrown there to be in that position. I know, this is just my opinion. But it is more believable than the FBI still hasn't completed their testing and reports from way back in July.
I believe the maggots and bag were sent in July. That's my point. There is no way those tests aren't done.

SNIPPED: "... We were discussing... whether or not protocol was followed and if their is an "air" of inappropriatness.
I am questioning if this SOP procedure of the jail in a HIGH PROFILE case was correct and appropriate? Why would they have a TV in the medical area?
As so many have said, this is jail and it not supposed to be comfy yet can not anyone question why the inmates need to have a TV on while they sit and wait to get a pill?
Why even risk having Casey hear this on the NEWS?
Why give BAEZ anything to chew on?
What would have happened if her lawyer was present and a representative of LE and the warden would have been present to tell her?
DO YOU THINK HER REACTION COULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT and IF IT WAS.... what would we say now? I think we would still think she did it because their is OTHER EVIDENCE MORE DAMNING. We would all still think she was cold and calculating.
However, to not question those in authority and processes means you give up your rights. It is our duty as citizens to make sure all procedures are followed.
I will stick by my opinion... SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO SEE THE NEWS.
Same here... But that has nothing to do with what I am talking about.
My point has been.. Why was she allowed to see the news? Why does their even need to be a TV in the medical commons area? Did a prison employee take her to see the news? Was it inadvertant? Could this have been handled better? Should her attorney been present when she was told to parlay these types of allegations by the attorney?
What is wrong with questioning the process and procedure?

Please forgive me if I've missed this in the thread, but wasn't Baez's motion to have the VIDEO of KC's reaction sealed? This isn't that video, it's a LE interview. Did the motion effectively combine any video/interview regarding KC's reaction?
Since, as the above post reads, the point of this discussion is to "make sure all procedures are followed," upon what law, procedure and/or policy do you base your above stated opinion that she should not have been allowed to watch the news?
I sure haven't heard of or read anything that prohibits what happened in the jail - and I've been around this block quite a few times...
Nothing, so long as you can actually point to a law, procedure and/or policy to question. All I'm reading in this thread is a bunch of posts taking issue with the "what ifs" but without bothering to cite or quote these laws, policys and/or procedures.
For the record, from what I've seen of JBaez thus far, he's going to always find "something to chew on," and thus far none of it's been based upon the law, policies or procedures. Heck, he can't even file motions that contain laws, policies and/or stated, written procedures.
That's not correct. Casey had already inadvertently seen the JBP coverage when the jail personnel turned off the tv, and showed no reaction so, therefore, there was no need to worry about a "first reaction" and take her to the infirmary to hear the news she'd just heard
At WS time 11:03 a.m., with Murt covering it live, the first news of a find was of a bag with some sort of toy in it, here, posted by Amster: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sho...97#post2936697 and also here, by Amster: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sho...21#post2937521 , all of which reflect that as of the noon news in Orlando, the news stations were covering this find and all the events following it. See also WSer sarah7855's post, which was the very first to confirm this, here: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sho...56#post2937256
By 1:00 p.m. WS time, now two hours after the news stations were reporting the BP findings, we were able to click and read print articles from the news stations, for example, WESH, that small bones were found with the toys in some plastic bag, see here: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sho...35#post2937735 . OSCO was not at the scene and it had been already 2 hours since the Orlando news stations were reporting about the bag with the bones and child's toys, child's shoe, etc. TexasLil posted Padilla was saying on news stations in FL that they'd found bones size of a child's fingers and toes, post # 650, here: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sho...=74941&page=26
Regarding Casey's reaction to the newscasts, see Angel_Who_Cares, post # 28, here:http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sho...rd+park&page=2 and the WESH article itself, here: http://www.wesh.com/news/17974753/detail.html
"A jail spokesman said she was watching television in a jail dayroom when news came from Blanchard Park. Guards asked her to return to her cell when they saw what was being broadcast, and Anthony went without comment, spokesman Allen Moore said."
So it is all in how one interprets what the news article says and doesn't say...
Me? I read it to mean that once the guards saw what Casey was watching, which was the findings at JBP, in a jail dayroom (which is typically a very public place, viewable by other inmates who might be passing through in the halls, etc.) they decided to shut that down and get her back to her cell, in case Casey did wind up having some terrible reaction and/or needed "privacy." LOL. (Sarcasm intended.) So...Casey saw the news as it was rolling and had no reaction. (I add that if she had been watching the news reports that LE had discounted the findings and were saying they were NOT bones, why any need to shut off the television and send her back to her cell? Zero need, as who would react to a news report discounting things that had been found.)
Apparantly, IF Casey put her there, she has more ambition and courage than some of the LE, going into snake infested land. She couldn't have been thrown there to be in that position. I know, this is just my opinion. But it is more believable than the FBI still hasn't completed their testing and reports from way back in July.
I don't know if this has been discussed yet - I'm still playing catch up on reading this whole thread. But after listening to the officer's interviews, I was surprised that KC had already heard about Caylee's body being found on her radio in her jail cell. I'm a bit confused about why, then, her reaction (hyperventilating, hand rubbing, etc, etc) was not already present when she was removed from her cell, but instead didn't start until she got down to the medical area and heard the exact same news on the TV there.
Any thoughts on this?
ok so the lt uncer audio is no longer available to listen to..
Did anyone happen to keep a copy of LT uncers audio ?
I saw it on the list of doc dumps yesterday, but it's since disappeared
