Was that her in the lower box on HLN?
She looked mean:eek:
So glad someone else saw her, I didn't get a warm and fuzzy feeling either. I guess it's not easy defending Jose and Casey, I know I wouldn't want to have the job.

  • #282
Yep! That was her! She tried very hard to spin it. When asked if Jose was upset, she launched into how the media wants to focus on sensationalism. When pressed, she responded Jose was disgusted. After all, he had just asked for the judge to remind everyone the importance of not leaking, etc.
I was in and out (of the room) so missed if anything was covered about Jose specifically requesting these interviews be held back.

  • #283
Maybe they can shed some light on this. I don't remember Jose saying anything about these interviews. The video, I recall. Seems as if he was given 20 days from viewing the video to make a report to Judge Strickland...

That's what I recall as well.

  • #284
Either that, or we were caught in her blinking spell. Imagine blinking at the rate of strobe lights...we were hypnotized...:hypno::hypno:

  • #285
True. If I had been the one to put the body there, I probably wouldn't have been fooled either. I seem to recall, however the media saying Chickasaw not Suburban...does anyone else remember this?

I do....but c'mon. The area doesn't look like there'd be a rash of people dumping small children into wooded areas, does it?

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! Now ya'll have me torn on it.

Ok, after listening to Richardson it sounds like they orginially were going to PRECLUDE her from viewing TV. They forgot she had a radio. The Mental Health wanted to see her for an interview. (Maybe to tell her the news?)

Once they got to her cell... they remembered she had the radio and she knew something was going on.

She did see the TV in the medical area. They did ON PURPOSE let her watch the TV until Mental Health said "that's enough".

Overall, the point still remains that she had a physical reaction that was not controllable. Of course, none of us have any doubt why she had that reaction.

I am at this point satisfied that they handled the situation appropriately.
Ya know, at first I took issue with the whole event. But, after listening to the audio I'm not sensing malice on LE's part. Obviously, we don't know the conversations that took place prior to her being brought down to the infirmary, but I can't think of a better way to handle it. Having her attorney break the news? Well, the jail is the one who is ultimately responsible for her care/ well-being while she's incarcerated...not JB. The body hadn't yet been identified so I'm not sure if there really would have been a better way than the way it was done.

Good observation...but it seems that the prosecution has admitted that it shouldn't have been released...or at least that's what's been reported. I don't remember Baez asking for the interview either.

Do you think it is possible that the media has these interviews confused with the video?
HLN guy keeps saying there have been leaks after leaks after leaks...where have I been? What leaks??

The "air samples" sent to the body farm was leaked,
the grand jury being called was leaked,
the hair with the bands of decomposition was leaked
chemicals from in the trunk was leaked
searches for ZFG on the A computer was leaked
The information that KC nearly fainted when she heard the news about the remains being found was leaked, you name it, it has been leaked

They obviously don't know what they are talking about.
They seem to think the doc dumps are leaks:crazy:
FL has strange laws and most people are not familiar with
them, even some of the talking heads on NG and Issues don't get it.

Most of the things you mentioned were the factors for calling the Grand Jury and in handing down the indictment. I don't consider them leaks at all.

KC definitely could and probably did throw her there. After lovingly double-bagging her daughter in two plastic garbage bags she rolled all of that into a laundry bag with reinforced wire rim. This enabled her to firmly grasp the edges of the bag and swing the bag 1 - 2 - 3 - HEAVE over the low-lying plants and into the shallow water standing there at the time.

Here are a couple of pics of where KC put her baby to sleep:

View attachment 3227 View attachment 3226

In the second pic the bags are covered partially by the media logo.

As you can see, it would not take much for an athlete like KC to toss the bag that short distance. I wonder if she said weeee when she did it?

As for the speed of FBI processing...The tests done on evidence back in July are complete and were released in preliminary form in late September and then in more complete form in November. Preliminary results on some of the evidence collected at the site of the remains have also been completed, but much of it has not. OCSO sent over 200 pieces of evidence to the FBI in early January from that site. News reports indicate SA has turned over a bunch of reports on duct tape which have yet to be released to the media through the Sunshine Laws.
The reason these were not supposed to be released, I believe, is because they divulge the fact that the jail officials were acting on behalf of law enforcement, at their request, this is in direct conflict to the testimony given at the hearing, that it was all SOP. " I agree that KC would absolutely have tossed the bag with very little effort, that explains why is was so close to the road, she isn't going to trouble herself, she isn't going to dig a hole, (she gave up on that after barely disturbing the dirt in her backyard with her neighbor's shovel. I told Tim Miller, it is going to be close to the road when we find the body. KC just isn't going to be bothered." Leonard Padilla said. On the 16th she was renting videos at Blockbuster with Tony (about a child that gets taken by the nanny, by the way), and he tells police in his interview that they had lots of sex the next morning, so much so that he skipped a few classes, so she just goes right along with her life, carefree.

They also released a message LA left for Yuri detailing a meeting he had just left with his folks and JB in prep. for the bond hearing. I KNOW THEY DID NOT HAVE TO RELEASE THAT, so it may have been an accident. That family will be at each others throats even worse now. Wow...so many lives were ruined here, G, C and Lee are just a few. I know Jesse and Tony and all of her friends will sure never be the same, and her poor grandparents, dear God, this is killing them and the extended family too. I can't even imagine how Lee, and her folks are going to feel having to testify against her. After hearing Jesse relay to the police (and now the public) that she told him Lee tried to rape her once, I hope this eases their conflicted feelings. She is just evil.As much as I believe in Jesus Christ as the risen son of God, I believe there absolutely are evil people among us, and as the bible says, "wolves in sheep's clothing". She is Diane Downs all over again.

That's what I'm talking about. JBaez knows that the jail followed SOP...else he'd have filed an appropriate Motion To Suppress - which he's NEVER filed.
His novice shows up at every hearing. While he is getting all of his pro bono help in the areas of science, he should humble himself and get someone to first chair;because he obviously is ill prepared. The judge had to remind him he still hasn't filed a motion for change of venue. Nejame ripped him a new one because he had no argument in his pleading. His motion to supress was prepared wrong., His motion to stay the video was prepared wrong. If he were a paralegal putting that kind of poorly worded document in front of a lawyer to sign, he would have been let go for not working seriously. Going on Nancy and Abrahm's and morning shows discussing things that KC has told him and admitting she lied was the best example of malpractice I have ever seen. He wont let go of the spotlight, but he really, really should step aside to a experienced, seasoned criminal trial lawyer. If it weren't such a serious matter, his bafooning would seem like an SNL skit. Does anyone remember the absolutely stunned look on Robert Kardashian's face when they announced the OJ verdict? I wonder if the little boy JB will let his novice show even more. This is the case of the decade, a career making case, sio I guess for the next couple of years until it is over we can watch and learn with him. I do admire the judge's ability to keep a straight when you know he is incredulous and wants to demand to see proof that he really did eventually pass the bar (JB). I guess we can't blame JB, he did what any one would in his position, take the case and try his best. How many of us would be able to admit we are in over our head?

They were leaked way before they should have by law been released to the public. Leonard Padilla for example was told things from law enforcement way before it was released to the defense, and only after it is released to the defense is it allowed by law to be released to the public. Yes, eventually, it would all have came out, it was when and in what order it was given that made it "leaks". Don't get me wrong I am with LE all the way, 100%, I am just explaining the technicality. Considering all the wild goose chases she sent them on, and all the false leads, and the parents working against them in the media, and so many, many officers and investigators working on the case, I marvel that they have been able to handle it all as well as they have. It is human nature for people to talk to their freinds and family about cases they are working, much the same reason that juries are sequestered, it is just human nature to "pillow talk" and no one can keep a secret. I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM with any of them, save for the one who went out on the call and didn't really look for a bag, or ask the meter reader to show him the specific bag. That mistake cost the county, and FBI months and months and God only knows how much money, and valuable evidence. That guy I have a problem with. The rest of them have ate slept and breathed this case for nearly a year now. I consider them all heroes for Caylee.

I agree with what you have said 100%. I think I may have misunderstood one of your previous posts and saw it as another bash fest for LE. I am just so tired of people saying how LE did this wrong and ahould have done this or that.
If we were to add up all of the people involved in this case (LE) and the hours each one has put into it, the total would be staggering.
It's not only hard work but it takes a toll on all of their personal lives as well. My heart goes out to all of them, Especially Yuri Melich and John Allen.:blowkiss:

Thank you very much!! When Kevin was crying at the press conference announcing they found the body, he was one of many, many men brought to tears over the discovery being that her little mouth was actually taped. Everyone was holding out a little hope that it had been an accident and this removed all doubt. This case has been a strain on all of the OCSD, mistakes have been made, people have lost their jobs, marriages have been strained, you name it. The stress has and will continue to be enormous. It has been sadder than other murder cases because she was just a baby. I respect Yuri and John more than I can say, they are what my grandmother calls "the good guys".

Apparantly, IF Casey put her there, she has more ambition and courage than some of the LE, going into snake infested land. She couldn't have been thrown there to be in that position. I know, this is just my opinion. But it is more believable than the FBI still hasn't completed their testing and reports from way back in July.

ambition and courage are words i do not use lightly. i use these words to describe people i admire. i do not use them to describe someone as they disposed of their child's body after murdering them.

even if i did not believe casey anthony was guilty of this i have seen nothing, ever - from her lying, her stealing, her one upmanship, her self obsession, her bar hopping, her bed hopping, to her utter destruction of every life that she touches - to make me admire her.

Also, I am about the same height as Casey, built less petite than her and very strong from many years of working the land, carrying children, etc. How many feet in was she? I don't think I could throw that many pounds that far.

i (as i've already posted and tater will back me up on this ;)) am 5ft tall, i weigh 98lbs, i have not 'worked the land', i have carried children, televisions, computers, washing machines, kayaks, desks, matresses, a 14yr old boy w/ a broken leg and i could throw that many pounds that far. i'm not afraid of snakes either.
it's only about 10ft, no need to call for the hulk, crocodile dundee and industrial lifting equipment.

Not to mention the weight of caring personal responsibility and dignity graciously. :blowkiss:

Casey did not carry those things, but she most certainly carried Caylee.
