:waitasec: Why would AD be allowed over to the house to talk to Casey to begin with? I thought Baez didn't want Casey talking to anyone from the outside? I also would like to know who bought Casey the prepaid phone and why? After listening to RG last night on NG I begin to wonder if maybe AD is one of these people that are trying to frame JG and family? It could be that Cindy and Casey were trying to go to plan "B". And they tried to manipulate AD and others. To frame JG and family. I didn't find AD interview to shed much light, I don't feel she was completely honest. I wonder if there is a second interview where she speaks more openly about what happen when she stayed the night. I also wonder who else may of stayed the night and why? Are they trying to get there stories straight? How does AD know that Casey could not commit this crime alone? She claims Casey is not that smart, well the whole charade was ignorant and cruel in itself. What was so smart about not calling 911 when Caylee went missing/died? I don't find it smart either that she went out on the town while Caylee was dead and decomposing/missing. But dumping the car at amscott and trying to frame someone for the crime was a smart move in Casey's opinion. I feel Casey has learned her ways from Cindy and Casey being a narcissist is what got her as far as it has. But in time I pray that justice will be served and if she did have help covering this up I pray they to pay the price with her. I said it earlier on. I thought maybe Caylee drowned in the pool the night of the big fight between Casey and Cindy, and if anyone helped it would of been Cindy IMO, because Cindy has always been there to pick up the pieces. Does anyone recall the day that Cindy said she was in the pool with Caylee and then noticed the next day the ladder was still on? So many times Casey told Lee in jail that if anyone knew where to look for Caylee it would be Cindy and Casey felt she was close to home. Just a gut feeling, IMO if Cindy didn't know what happen to Caylee the day she died she found out the day she picked Casey up for TL house and that is when they started to cover up. JMO....

Also strange that in the jail interview AD was listed as those not to trust....but then they brought her to the house to sleep over..... WEIRD.

I am so unimpressed by AD. I've occasionally gone into see her myspace "message" and have now become accustomed to reading her predictably inappropriate and juvenile snippets. It doesn't surprise me in the least that she and KC were once good friends...

...Don't even let me get started on their countless silly photos together...

Here's today's example:

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=39760803

MOO
"Today is the day my fate is decided" she titled her myspace page yesterday! There you have it, she was scared and she was correct that they already knew things she has done, they already knew she has given the Zanax to friends, and other things. Everyone came willingly to talk to the police, some even volunteered calling up the detectives before they had a chance to call them. She is the only one who had to be compelled by the court, and on her salary hiring a lawyer was an expense she could not afford. She wanted to present herself as a good girl, but her myspace page is very telling and the title "Today is the day that decides my fate!" is priceless.I GUARANTEE YOU HER LAWYER HAD NOT SEEN THAT.

It was a strange interview. I still feel she was supplying Casey with Xanax. Maybe she wasn't giving/selling it to her on a regular basis, but why would Casey tell her other friends she could get Xanax from Annie if she couldn't?

I really wish that LE had asked her whether or not she had supplied ANY drugs to KC. They zeroed in on xanax. But she could have been dealing with something else. MOO

I put this by the wrong person's post originally. Sorry.
From an average American: Please tell your son we love him, we appreciate him and I speak for all the people that want to, but don't know exactly what to say when they see him in public in his khakis or uniform, tell him we honor him and are forever grateful. He is an American hero and we are all praying for all of our kids quick , safe and victorious return home to the greatest country in the world, the United States of America! We aren't embarrassed to scream for our team at a live basketball game, and I am not embarrassed to drop what I am doing and go over to any kid I see in uniform and give him a big smile and shake his hand and say "I love you. We all love you!" You wont believe it, but sometimes they get tears in their eyes and tell me people just walk right by them and no one has ever walked up to them like that before. So please please tell your son a little girl in Texas just sent him a big hug for all of us. And tell him we said "Thank you!!!!

You have made this Proud Mom's day. I often get tears in my eyes when reading this site, for different reasons, but my tears this morning are of tears of pride. Pride for my son, as well as pride for my fellow American. It is great to know there are still people out there that support our troops. I will happily pass on your sentiments. Please, do not ever stop going up to those young men and women in uniform, the small gestures you speak of lets them all know thier sacrifice is appreciated. Thank you so much.

O/T but couldn't pass up this chance to post an email and link to video I recently received, regarding a widely recognized sign that people can use to express their gratitude to our military. Very cool video.

Here's the email: This is pretty neat.....(30 second video)... Have you ever seen one of our military walking past you and wanted to convey to them your thanks, but weren't sure how or it felt awkward?

Recently, a gentleman from Seattle created a gesture which could be used and has started a movement to get the word out.

Please everybody take just a moment to watch.... The Gratitude Campaign; ...and then forward it to your friends! THEN START USING THE SIGN.

I agree - it's eerie - she sounds very much like KC as well. Voice afflictions, tones, choice of words.

I agree with you and and many others here as well. Just a note: it's voice inflections, not afflictions. Done.

Listened to both parts. I'm very impressed with the interviewers/investigators. That had to be a laborious process for them.

Um... Annie told Yuri that she never wrote to KC when she was in jail.

Isn't that a lie? Didn't Cindy ask KC if she got Annie's letter in one of the jail visits? IIRC a letter from Annie was discussed at some point during that convo, second visit I believe. Anyone else remember this?

:waitasec:

I think AD sent KC a book. CA was wondering why KC could have AD's book and not her bible. KC said because it was sent directly from the bookstore I believe.

...I thought she sounded very nervous, and IMO, the reason she started crying the first time was because she felt like she was betraying Sean. I just don't think Annie is a drug dealer, and if she was not being entirely truthful with LE, I don't think it was over anything involving what happened to Caylee. IMO, she didn't talk to Casey about Caylee while she was at the house, because Casey was being all cryptic and insinuating the house was bugged.

Lanie

This is the immediate impression I got when AD started crying. Perhaps Sean said, don't tell them you ever gave me Xanax!

Also, why would it be so hard to believe that KC would brag about being able to get Xanax, knowing full good and well she could steal it from AD?

Does AD say whether she had an ongoing perscription for Xanax or whether it was a one time deal? I agree about the doctor's name. She would remember that one. LOL

There is something I do not understand. What kind of Dr prescribes Zanex to college aged co-eds?? This is a highly addictive drug & it is well known that young people take it with alcohol to get high. Personally speaking, I went to my primary physician, I had received a terrible prognosis, was receiving chemo treatments, and my son was deployed in Iraq (in other words, darn good reason to be having anxiety), I told my Dr what I was going thru and that I needed something (I was desperate) He was RELUCTANT to give them to me. When he finally did, he prescribed only a few pills. A very close friend of mine had a son, 20 yrs old, was prescribed zanex and ended up harming himself (very tragic) I wish there was some way for Dr's to be stricter about writing scripts like these. I apologize for going somewhat O/T.

Btw, my son is back stateside and safe (god willing they all come home that way) and my situation is under control.

Glad your son is home safe and sound and your situation is under control. :)

More and more doctors are reluctant to give perscriptions for Xanax because it is so highly addictive. That is why I asked earlier if anyone knew if AD had an ongoing prescription for Xanax or whether it was a one time script. If it is an ongoing script, then that would be reason she couldn't remember the doctor's name.

Annie sounds like a real pill ..

No wonder her and Casey are such good friends ..
Birds of a feather and all that ..

OT: OMG Marla, your avatar! Aaaahahahaha!

PS: I tried to copy and put in this post, but didn't know how.

...I also don't recall anyone else commenting on Caylee behaving this way, but we've all seen that picture where she is being held by a male (can't recall who right this second) and Caylee looks scared out and is reaching towards the person holding the camera. She was quite a bit younger then. Other than that, I don't recall any of KC's more recent friends commenting on Caylee being shy more recently.

I believe the male in the photo was LA.

There is always the possibility that AD did give Casey pills but that Casey also helped herself. That crossed my mind after hearing the TL interview, and his reference to his roommate Cameron also having zannys. Not sure if Cameron ever said he did give Casey zanax, but I do think Casey would simply help herself, if she felt so inclined...

Actually, it was Christina that Lee put on the phone, not Annie. :blowkiss:
You are right, I listened again, and you are right, thank you!!! I was again amused at the condescending tone KC has with all of them, Lee, her mom, her good friend, she is just absolutely hateful to them!!!

I have a feeling it's some sort of backlash from being named as Xanny Annie, the xanax supplier. Maybe her friends/connections were giving her a hard time about what Casey said and this is why she insisted on having them take her to KC. I also agree that she prolly lived in an unincorporated area and refrenced going into Orlando as going "in town"
Regarding Annie going in to town.....
I hadn't heard that expression since my Grand mother used to tell me the up hill, both ways stories about how they had to walk for miles "in to town" back in West Virginia when she was a child. My favorite part was she would always add; trying to illustrate how spoiled she thought we were, "And we were thankful, for the opportunity!"

Forgive me, I know we are on a very serious subject, but I couldn't help but laugh out loud at that one. She is trying to act like the shy, simple country girl, not the Annie in the pics on her myspace, right?

If she would steal money from her Grand father's nursing home account, of course she would steal pills from anyone, anytime. If she was caught on video with the pill bottle open, she would say, in Eddie Murphy's famous words, "Are you going to believe me, or your lying eyes?!!!!"

The Judge had her number when he denied her bail, "The truth and Ms. Anthony are strangers!".

I forgot to tell you the very best part! When I do this, others around me see and overhear me, maybe see me giving a hug , and very, very often it will start a chain reaction with them coming over to greet the young man too, and sometimes it starts with one person in the grocery store line clapping and then I hear more and more people clapping and it is one of those rare defining moments in my life , and I see it in the GI's eyes, he will remember that moment. Forever.

I live in San Antonio where we have so very very many military members. My nieces and nephews know I love to say hello to all the GIs, and it was so cute the other day, my little Zoe yelled out...."Aunt Julia...look here comes another hero!" and she opened up her arms really wide and hugged him before I could even get a word out.
In my life, so far, that was my very favorite thing, ever.

I guess there's more than one AD thread, but anyway, AD's interview was set for Dec. 11, 2008 and it got postponed to January 2009 due to Caylee's body being found on Dec. 11. I think AD lawyered up because of the Xanax prescription - and giving SD her medication. AD says she didn't give any to Casey. AD also says she didn't count her pills and the prescription was on an as needed basis.

Since AD and Casey were best friends and Casey came over to AD's Sawgrass apartment quite often, could Casey have taken some of AD's pills without AD's knowledge? AD doesn't say where she kept her pills but if hypothetically she kept them in the bathroom medicine cabinet, then maybe Casey may have know that and helped herself to them.
