After research I think he has 2 sisters, so nevermind.

The person I was thinking about as being a brother, is possibly a cousin, same last name, that lives in FL but not in Satsuma. I was wondering if JO had some other family around FL (around his age) that he could have also been visiting with, and where he might have been if he is indeed behind the wheel of TiC and ChC's van that was supposedly moved and scratched, the night Haleigh was missing... I hadn't thought about it until recently...but I began to wonder..hmmm. if he did take the van, exactly how long was he gone...and where could he go?

Essentially we know 3 things about Joe Overstreet:

- He came to FL to visit his "family" for two weeks and wound up being accused of vile, disgusting crimes by a pack of drug addicts and criminals.

- I've got a picture of him doing something I've yet to see Ronald Cummings, Teresa Neves, or the Croslin family doing at any point in a solid year:

- He had the good sense to get the heck away from this circus quickly, EASILY qualifying him as the most intelligent member of that particular family IMO.

Without getting into the semantics of "cleared" vs "not cleared" or "top of the list" vs "bottom of the list", LE stated he is NOT a suspect and was ruled out:

The picture means absolutely nothing, although I do understand the emphasis on it.

Please remind us when that picture was taken and posted please. Cousin Joe did leave Satsuma....or wherever he was in Florida, and had plenty of time to come back in time to hang posters after much urging from his friends and family to " go clear your name".

The date was February 16 2009, it is cut out of the same picture above. Here is the full picture, but the caption underneath reads February, 16th.

Really? the picture that I posted is from the Palatka Daily News and the caption under it states that it was on February 16th....it is pretty clear (to me) what they meant when they put the date under the picture. I don't see what the big deal is.

I so agree with you.

If Ron and everyone knew that Joe was "the guy" I would hope he would no longer be walking around free, unless Ron and everyone really don't care what happened to Haleigh.

If this picture is a few days later than the date, it only shows that he came back to town, i.e. did not run away and hide as has been implied some.

It just does not compute.

I still believe that Cousin Joe was involved in whatever happened to Haleigh that night, and that he left Florida in the hours after Haleigh was reported missing, whether he came back to Satsuma to " clear his name' by hanging up a few missing posters remains to be seen, in my opinion.
