This is just MOO, but what if Nancy is so confident on reporting that it is from 08 because she has inside sources saying it is and doesn't feel the need to mention said sources because in the end everyone will end up knowing it was from 08 and not 03...something to ponder anyway...

Does anyone else find it strange that Cindy waited until LE showed up with a search warrant, specifically looking for a W. Pooh blanket before she decided to tell LE that Caylee's blanket was missing?

Why didn't she mention that back in July? Or August or any other month before Caylee's body was found....?

She had to have known..!

I was wondering about that too. Cindy is the type that would notice.

I saw the photo and it may look different in reality. The ink could have "skipped" or something. I would say they have evidence inside that journal to prove it was written June 21st, 2008 from either things she mentioned or other ways...if it was in fact an old journal.

You should know by looking at the things in the Crime Scene Photo thread that photos are not that accurate at times.

Concerning the Journal picture, I was messing around with it and noticed the animal in the background. Maybe this journal was Caylee's? This could help date it. It doesnt seem like something a 17 year old would tote around (if it was 2003)

Yes, it was exactly the same as one found on a shelf in the A's garage.
A canvas laundry bag with some particular name stamped on the side of it.
Heard that this afternoon on Mike Galanos' show on Headline News.

I did a quick search on "Whitney Design laundry bag". Whitney Design makes organizational household items. They're sold at Target and HSN (Home Shopping Network).

I'm betting with you! But yes, they will find out when it was written, and they also know what else is in the diary that we weren't shown. Just MOO, but this diary (if it is from 2008) is just icing on the cake, not something LE needs.

It seems like every time there's a Doc Dump Casey there's another "Bombshell"

I also think that there are plenty of other witness statements & interviews that are very damaging to Casey that we havn't heard yet.

I know her friends must have a lot more to say about her behavior during June & early july

About the journal entry --- does anyone think like me, that Casey did write it in 2008, feeling the need to "confess" so to speak, but dated it 03 just to cover her butt, in case her perfect world came crashing down? For some reason, only "03" is underlined, almost as if she wanted to draw attention to that particular part........

If the "03" was written at the same time I'll bet is was because she was thinking, like...
