Ya know, I think this may be what LE has on LA...that he had this knowledge of the BP scenario and didn't tell LE. Oh, IMO he's been questioned about it. He had to have been...why else would he say the story has been changed "on the record" (or whatever words he used)...that Casey admitted to lying to LE about leaving Caylee at SG apartments?

Maybe he is referring to the statements that Casey had given LE before Baez started representing her. She had told LE in her last interview that she did lie about everything, except the part that she had no idea where Caylee was. As for Casey ever telling LE about Blanchard Park, I don't think that ever happen. I think maybe the bounty hunter brought it up to LE and then one of the Anthony's.

The second I heard him give that theory it reeked of WS!! I'm behind but I'm sure many ppl here thought the same thing! :bang:

I did think that, as soon as it came out of LA's mouth. OMG, just thinking about it makes my blood boil!:furious:
Good caring people on this board offered different opinions and possibilities to explain some of the evidence we saw early on. To think that their hard work or thought processes were hijacked to be used for the defense of the perp makes me want to choke someone!:mad::furious:

I am too tired to go look for the reference now, but at one point didn't Lee state that Casey would lie to protect herself, and then asked Morgan if he wouldn't do the same thing?

Didn't he also state (in a roundabout way) that HE would lie to protect himself?

If he did, that is MAJOR fodder for the prosecution.

This is what I found last night:

I got all the way to about the 26th minute of the 5th part of the videos. When Lee talks about Casey's reputation in the family as to whether or not they consider or had discussed that she told a lot of lies. At first he says no. Then keeps talking and finally comes up with the statement that yes, she would lie to protect her child and that, yes, she would lie to protect herself. Then he admits that he, himself, would lie to protect himself. And then he has the audacity to ask Morgan if he wouldn't do the same.

My question is: Doesn't this statement cancel out his oath to tell the truth?

I finally decided that if he admitted that he would lie to protect himself, why the poop am I spending all this time listening to his lies? I quit!!!!!

This family is nuts!

"Yeah, Mr Client, I'd like to reach out and, you know, connect the little things containing circumference, but you know, I don't, you know, know how. Of course, you know, I have to believe their roundness because I absolutely have to but beyond that, you know, who knows?"

I'm laughing my head off here.:woohoo:

Yes he did. And Cindy is on record saying that telling a lie is not a crime and mistruth's aren't lies.

"The end justifies the means".

He actually scares me more than KC does.

He laughs at the wrong time, he says inappropriate things (and laughs some more) He really gives me the creeps.

I feel the same way, MMB. Originally I thought his inappropriate laughter (about the death smell in the Pontiac) was due to nervousness, but it was such a hearty laugh that I later decided it was his way of trying to show LE that he wasn't fooled by KC and wanted to be on their team, trying to find Caylee.

After watching him and listening to him for hours over the last months, I have a very different opinion. I think his laughter originates from a sense of smug superiority. He laughs in order to deceive others into believing he's feeling affable, cooperative, or wants to be "pals." In short, he laughs instead of smirking or snickering, but it means the same thing. IMHO

What I found surprising was that LA didn't mention anything about KC demanding AL's phone number on her first call from jail (aka not wanting to make her look bad). I mean that really was the sole purpose behind the call. He kept saying KC was mad because "no one would listen to her" when she really seemed mad that no one would give her AL's number!

What if TL is "in the know" and is related to the MOB?

And he will have to answer to these statements, if given lawfully - under oath, ... during the criminal proceedings!

I have no doubt in my mind that when giving testimony during Casey's trial that all 3 A's will lie through their teeth.
The truth is not and has not been a part of their universe for a very long time, telling lies is second nature to all of them.

I failed to mention it but that really was my 2nd thought & I was also very :furious:

Maybe they will all stand up and say (all at one time) "I killed Caylee". Gotta get her off somehow.

Would like to see LE while watching this depo.
:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

O'kay on the count of three . . . .

And I wish that I had a dime, during this case, for every time I have heard "lying is not a crime" ... well you know what?????? -- lying to law enforcement, and under oath by penalty of perjury, is!!! I'd at least be able to buy a double cheeseburger from McDonalds ... and that's something!

I am beginning to believe that maybe Lee also has a "Narcissistic" disorder. Lee looks to be very troubled, not only due to the death of Caylee. In the past he had written some blogs about his life and he seemed to be very depressed, angry, and unhappy. It was almost as if Casey was writing the blogs, but they were from Lee and he was talking about how troubled his life and family were. I do not have the link, sorry. But I did read them. Maybe someone else recalls the blogs I am talking about. I feel that Cindy has OCD, Narcissism and other. With her physiological genes I think she created two very disturbed children, and Casey being the monster out of the two. JMO...

They were on Lee's MySpace. I read them several months ago. At the time he wrote the one about his ex gf (who was married to someone else at the time) he was very raw and let it all out. Most of the things he wrote were very inappropriate for a public blog.

When I'm upset about a situation it really helps me to "write it out", sometimes I'll even do it in letter form to the person I'm having issues with. But never, ever would I post it in a public forum or even send the first (several) draft(s) to the person I'm upset with. Let go of the anger, then deal with the problem. Unfortunately "anger" is behind almost everything the A's do.

But you're right, everyone in this family had huge issues long before Caylee went missing. Long before Caylee was even born.....

Sure ... the transcript is now public even if Morgan et al were not working directly with the State ... the State now has a sworn statement (assuming all protocol was followed) under oath ... that can be used in court! I assure you ... it is done all of the time!!
I don't believe he's signed it as of yet. Aren't they going to continue with the deposition?

Hey there, Mac-- Did you also hear him describe Casey's stunned shock/lack of action at JBP as Casey being in "stasis"?
snipped by me

This was probably already posted (sorry!) but he said "misconstrued" at least once..So, did baby sis get this word from him or did he get it from her? Just curious cos it's not something you hear that often.

amysmom, I am quoting your post but wanted to comment on the word 'stasis' that appears to be in Friday's post. I could not find the original post.

Anyway, I will be the first to admit that my use of the English language is not perfect and I sometimes use words out of context, but this word stasis just takes the cake!

LOL, I did stop and look that word up because it is not a part of my vocabulary! According to Mirriam-Webster dictionary the meaning is:

1.) The slowing of the current of circulating blood.

and

b.) Reduced motility of the intestines with retention of feces.

Now being the simple person I am, I will go with b. It seems to be a condition this family are all afflicted with.

Also ... while JB cannot work off of a contingency fee (unethical) ... Morgan as a civil attorney can and certainly does ... therefore billable hours mean nothing to him ... he is to get a cut of the end result! Does that make sense?

Yes, I forgot about that. He gets paid when (if) she gets paid.

Bold mine--and I couldn't agree more.

He makes my flesh crawl--and that doesn't happen easily.

I agree, Friday! And why would he feel this 'smug superiority' if he wasn't privvy to facts that others aren't? His transparency is so obvious to me, it leaves me baffled that others don't call him out about it:bang::furious:.
