2009.02.27 - Lee's Deposition

Lee said HE "tracked down 3 -4 of Casey's PHOTO sites" and HE wanted to DELETE them because they had been sensationalized in the media (what right did he have to do such a thing????) Casey apparently had more than one photobucket account. What else did Lee feel HE needed to delete from Casey's computer?

I forgot about that! He said he did delete them, didn't he? How dare he do that when his sister was the subject of a criminal investigation?! I know I'd be in jail if I did half the things this family has done in their efforts to derail LE--including perjuring themselves on sworn statements.

LE has been more than compassionate and forgiving to GA and CA, which is understandable, but why does LA deserve this same blanket leniency? No matter what he says, he was not nearly as close to Caylee as his parents were.

Ok...I'll ask again 'cause it's making me NUTS...when did Casey "officially" change her story?!!

It would appear that LP was right on this one. LP stated that when KC was bonded out and at home, Rob was accompanying her back and forth to JB's office every day. KC told Rob that the kidnapping took place in JBP, and that ZFG held her down while ZFG's sister, Samantha, took Caylee away.

LP reported this on NG one night and said that KC had changed her story about how the kidnapping took place.

KC had a lot of time in jail between her initial arrest and being bonded out. By then she knew that the original story didn't wash as investigators had verified that ZFG didn't live at the Sawgrass Apts. So, she put some thought to it and came up with a new lie.

I am thinking he faked an email from Heather (cannot remember last name) that he gave to LE. Remember the one where this Heather says that a Jeff Hopkins had worked at Universal and a Juliette had also? Heather stated that Casey and a Juliette were friends. I am thinking that whole email is faked by Lee. I also believe that LE feels that Lee tried to remove anything damaging on the laptop that he retrieved from TL's that night before Casey was arrested. In fact, I really believe that Lee did try to derail the investigation against Casey. Lee, IMO, greatly underestimated LE's intelligence and investigative powers. He thought he could outsmart them.

I'm with you...would love to know the truth about it all. I think Lee's message to Annie-do not lie to protect Casey- was very telling. Just don't understand why he can't follow some of his own advice...unless he's so knee-deep into this that he will likely receive more than a slap on the wrist for what he's done.

What doesn't make sense to me is the hallowed family unit they are so proudly, and outspokenly, determined to preserve has so far yielded up: one murderous, thieving, sociopathic young mother; one unprotected murdered baby; one dishonest, hen-pecked, suicidal grandfather; and one universally disliked, dishonest, defiant grandmother who would, without a qualm, send someone else's child to prison if she could to spare her daughter. And then there's Lee...who defies description.

And that is why when they rave about "our family" I always hear, "our coven."

I just realized that Lee, Cindy, and Casey all seem to exhibit similar attitudes of superiority and entitlement.

And it was all instilled by Mommie Dearest......God, she makes my blood boil:furious: She is such a know-it-all & I always felt sorry for poor Yuri! She constantly wants to win the battle, be it anything, & in her quest to always dictate what is, loses sight of the most important issue at hand; she loses sight of justice for Caylee!:furious:

This is really about, Caylee Marie Anthony vs. Casey Anthony, & her family has stacked the deck against her. So sad.

However, even if Lee's grammatical errors are forgiveable for whatever reason, it doesn't make up any difference for his odd behaviour, body language, ill timed laughing jags, and mistruths in his statements!

ITA. I know that introducing an imaginary person presents problems at trial. That's why Geragos was never able to mention the Hippies/Gypsies in a van did it after his opening argument. So where is this going? It almost makes me think they have a real person they'll throw under the bus and claim that is their "ZFG".

If so, I will personally take up a collection to get her a decent lawyer.

Lee used the word "stasis" correctly. The choice is suspect though, IMO. He used it to bolster the appearance of intelligence, but the lack of consistency in speech, only results in a more contrived impression. He may be an avid reader, but he doesn't have the background consistent with the usage to really make it appear authentic. I think, like his Mother and Sister, he uses enough to keep up appearances.

The word "stasis" .. is a very, very common medical term. Maybe he heard it used by his mother and adopted it for his own use ... my husband says he picked up the word "occlusion" from me ... just saying ... maybe it is as simple as that!

This reminds me of the jailhouse video where Casey was "so frushtrated" she "couldn't schwallow." Casey was pleading to be out of jail and asked what being in jail was supposed to teach her (or what lesson she was supposed to learn.)

Am I the only one that see's where Lee is telling Morgan in the depo that Casey is the nanny? He did not flat out say that Casey said she was. But he said other..How many times have we not heard Casey state that she didn't feel she was a good enough mother. How many times have we not heard CINDY STATE THAT CASEY TOOK OFF WITH CAYLEE, MAYBE TO GET BACK AT HER? HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE HEAR THAT CASEY WAS JEALOUS OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CINDY AND CAYLEE?


Question 12 page 57-58:

12. Q Did you ask Casey why does Zenaida Gonzalez want our baby?

17.-22 A (Lee) Casey's explanation on why Caylee would have been taken was to the extent of that Zenaida didn't think that Caylee should have been with Casey, for whatever reason, and that she was ...that she was taking Caylee from her for a period of time to teach her a lesson. (LEE:I do remember that for sure)
