2009.02.27 - Lee's Deposition

Couldn't Cindy just look to see if Casey's car was there?

That's true-but, it wouldn't tell her how the girls were doing after the blow up the night before. Maybe Caylee was still crying when CA went to bed and she wanted to hear if Caylee was alright before going to work?:waitasec:

I have a question.....I think I know the answer, but wanted to confirm with WS'ers.

When Lee was talking about Sawgrass Apartments and Blanchard Park, he said Casey told him she lied about dropping off Caylee at Sawgrass (no kidding) but he said Casey said the real story was that Zenaida took Caylee from her at JBP and quoting him he said......

Lee: ""Which she later said she lied about that, she has gone on record saying that
yeah, I lied to you about that."

Meaning Casey went on record saying she lied about the part about Sawgrass Apartments? Went on record with who? That isn't true, is it? The only time I've heard the Blanchard Park thing was from LP. Is there any evidence that Casey changed her story about Sawgrass and told police the JBP story, claiming that is what really happened? I mean, he basically gave credibility to an LP story. Why? Is it possible he really doesn't know LP is the one that put that story out there and he just confirmed another Casey lie? I don't get it. You would THINK that Lee would know as much and more about what's out there as we do, but it sure didn't seem like it. Just weird.
I was asking the same question(s) all afternoon. I don't think Casey "officially" changed her story with LE, but Lee may have forwarded the info...after pressed by LE IMO. Personally, I think the story was changed to accommodate Casey with the lawsuit looming.

It would be great if JB had been planing, behind the scenes, to ditch the ZG story, especially now since Lee has reported all this new Zenaida information in the deposition, and it has been broadcast all over the country. This sort of secure's the ZG story firmly in place.

Oh, and Zanny is Xanex or "Zanex". I was a single parent and raised my son (he's 28 now, god bless him) but I used to say to friends "Yea, I got a Japaneze babysitter... her name is Nintendo".

Excellent point.

I also think LA could have unwittingly borrowed the JBP theory because he and his family are typically used to baffling people with so many lies that people eventually give up and go away.

For once, the family is the one caught off guard by the tenacity of the public to not only track but pick apart their lies, and then rub their collective noses in them.

I'm sure the A's are as frustrated with us for not believing their weak excuses as we are of them for being so ridiculously arrogant as to expect us to.
Yes, it's almost as if they think we're not paying any attention! What LA testified to yesterday just gives more credence to what LP said he was told while Casey was on house arrest. I definitely think they were talking "theories" while she was out. MOO

That's exactly what I believe too.

Lee used the word "stasis" correctly. The choice is suspect though, IMO. He used it to bolster the appearance of intelligence, but the lack of consistency in speech, only results in a more contrived impression. He may be an avid reader, but he doesn't have the background consistent with the usage to really make it appear authentic. I think, like his Mother and Sister, he uses enough to keep up appearances.:D

:twocents:

Not sure he reads so much as I believe his language skills would improve. I think he gets "statis" from Star Trek and combined with the Vader license plate, I believe he was telling the truth when he said he wasn't up on the current lingo on the streets. Doh! But not hearing the Zani-Xanax connection or knowing the Pooh blanket was missing is beyond my belief. If he's really investigating the abduction of his niece, he's read these websites.

Good point. I never thought about where the THREE cars were parked normally, but it must have been obvious as Spincycle was leaving?

Hercule, To begin with, your avatar pic amuses me. But mostly, it is your dry humor expressed in your posts which sucks me in..............:blowkiss:

"Baez: How close are you with your sister?
Lee: It's easy to summarize that as saying that her and I know that we can confide in each other on things on a level where we don't feel like we would have to be obligated to share it with anybody else. And that is just because of the relationship that her and I have that we connect on a level above anybody else – we love each other unconditionally. And we can tell each other things that we may not feel comfortable telling anybody else even our own family members."

Hey! There's that "smart" Lee Anthony again - with his "her and I know".

I can do the serious sleuthing, and I do have HUGE feelings for Caylee, but this nonsense part of the case cries out for comedy and mockery.

PS how was the pizza, dont leave any bits in your trunk (Boot).

Maybe it's just because all visits and calls are recorded? :waitasec:

But .... Cindy and George and Lee (in code) said MUCH MORE to Casey in the faux memorial than they said in any jail visit that was recorded. They could say the same words of love and support in a jail visit, that they gushed at the memorial - saying they hoped Casey could hear them......

Here's a link to some of those blogs. Just scroll down past the first paragraphs and you'll see the blogs from 2006 & 2007. It certainly gives insight into Lee whom I see as a very angry young man. Actually I see narcissistic traits in him.

I think its okay to post a link right? I have seen others do it but if for some reason its against a rule, mods please delete.

I saw this a few weeks ago. Just read it again. Between this and the deposition.....OMG, Lee's just bizarre! It's definitely a MUST READ!!!!!!!!!

Run Mallory, run!

I didn't read or hear it that way? I do agree the story was changed to benefit Casey's for both her defense and the civil lawsuit, but I don't think Lee ever forwarded the info to LE, did he? I thought that is what JM kept pressing him on and got out of him in the depo yesterday?

You are an excellent sleuth, I have seen your work and admire it. And I know you care for Caylee as I do and I mean no disrespect to her sweet spirit. But I agree with you, it is better to laugh at the preposterous aspects of this case than be PO'd at the insult to the collective intelligence of us sleuths.

The pizza was tasty and I washed it down with a chilled glass of chardonnay. There's no junk in my trunk! :blowkiss:

I really can't understand why they don't visit either ~ you're right, they could just show up and tell her they love her and talk about stuff unrelated to the case. I do think it's more like not having anything Casey says recorded since every time she opens her mouth it's another lie for the jury to hear. Baez definitely doesn't need any more of those to have to explain! MOO

Oh, no, Diz, they wouldn't have had any time to plot because according to Lee's deposition, they only had 6 or 7 minutes of private time during the entire period KC was home on bond! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I thought Lee shared chauffeur duties with Jose while she was out on bond. Wouldn't that leave plenty of private time in his car? :waitasec:

But ... that is not what Cindy said in her testimony under oath in Casey's bond hearing. Cindy never said that she saw, or knew, that Casey's car was at home the night of the 15th or early morning of the 16th. Cindy only said that she "knew" they were in the bedroom, but the door was closed and she did not want to disturb them. I believe Cindy gave George the "script" about seeing the girls the morning of the 16th. I believe it was a deliberate untruth and misconception to lead away from the fact of the fight between Cindy and Casey the night of the 15th.

**Mark Fuhrman also reported that George and Cindy Anthony explained that Cindy and Casey had an argument on the 15th or 16th of June.
