I thought Lee shared chauffeur duties with Jose while she was out on bond. Wouldn't that leave plenty of private time in his car? :waitasec:

Rob Dick (Padilla's associate) was Casey's constant body guard, and their other associate Tracey stayed in the house with Casey.

Has it been confirmed that Caylee's ashes are in the bracelet Lee was wearing at the deposition. I had never heard of such a thing until this case.

I really can't understand why they don't visit either ~ you're right, they could just show up and tell her they love her and talk about stuff unrelated to the case. I do think it's more like not having anything Casey says recorded since every time she opens her mouth it's another lie for the jury to hear. Baez definitely doesn't need any more of those to have to explain! MOO

I think it also has to do with Casey does not want to "suffer" her parents and their emotions and their grief in a jail visit. They annoy and frushtrate her too much. And she is probably still pizzed that Cindy had Caylee cremated which was clearly against Casey's wishes.

But, wasn't Lee with her on trips to the courthouse? Isn't that where the high-5 happened?

I can empathize, Friday. I have remained reticent on many questions, instincts, and opinions for fear of being flogged by the masses, LOL. Although it seems so clear to me at times. Thank you for being candid with your thoughts!

I'm happy to have spoken up for a minority and escaped retaliation from the passionately hot-tempered few who we still love and respect. LOL I'm starting to think WS might need an assertiveness-training thread. Chilly Willy will, of course, be the revered example we strive to emulate.

Hey, Chilli---:p

I thought so too. I don't believe he only had 6-7 minutes of time with her while she was on house arrest. MOO

He did chauffeur her around for a while. Back and forth to Baez and to the court house. Remember the high fiving at the court house by those two?
So one again he proves himself the liar

I thought so! And of course the last part of your post is true ~ in keeping with being an Iamaliarant. :blowkiss:

In reality Casey probably could give a rip what her parents did with Caylee's little body. There was a reason that she decided to do that little blip that she had Baez read but I haven't figured out what it was.

I think that Baez is controlling who can go visit Casey and who can't and for some reason he doesn't want her and her parents to get together.

Not sure he reads so much as I believe his language skills would improve. I think he gets "statis" from Star Trek and combined with the Vader license plate, I believe he was telling the truth when he said he wasn't up on the current lingo on the streets. Doh! But not hearing the Zani-Xanax connection or knowing the Pooh blanket was missing is beyond my belief. If he's really investigating the abduction of his niece, he's read these websites.
Well someone in the house does...the WS papers in the garbage prove it.

That greatly concerns me.

Hey, Chilli---:p

Yes, Our dear Chilly Willy is the maestro at assertiveness and would be an excellent choice to lead our faux W/S assertiveness course.

Love your posts Chilly:blowkiss:

But ... that is not what Cindy said in her testimony under oath in Casey's bond hearing. Cindy never said that she saw, or knew, that Casey's car was at home the night of the 15th or early morning of the 16th. Cindy only said that she "knew" they were in the bedroom, but the door was closed and she did not want to disturb them. I believe Cindy gave George the "script" about seeing the girls the morning of the 16th. I believe it was a deliberate untruth and misconception to lead away from the fact of the fight between Cindy and Casey the night of the 15th.

**Mark Fuhrman also reported that George and Cindy Anthony explained that Cindy and Casey had an argument on the 15th or 16th of June.
I never tied the car to this...and now I believe more than I ever had that Casey may not have been there that evening.

I don't think LA's attorney did such a terrible job for him in the deposition yesterday, apart from the biggy of not preparing him to be a very good witness. His behavior was bizarre and he was evasive, to say the least. Maybe he isn't preparable. Maybe Mr. Morgan was correct that they expected/planned to walk out without Lee's being deposed because they were pretty sure the media wouldn't be excluded. Morgan bases this on the fact that Luka had a court appearance at 10:30, but who knows.

No doubt Morgan has mixed motives, but if the claim is not wholly frivolous, which the court hasn't found, it doesn't matter. Relevancy doesn't govern the scope of questions allowable in a discovery deposition, and LA's lawyer would have been wrong to instruct him not to answer questions for reasons the law doesn't allow. There is no Anthony exception to the rules. All it would get LA and his attorney is sanctions, maybe having to pay attorney's fees to ZG's attorney for time wasted, a return visit to answer anyway, and maybe a contempt citation eventually.

Thank you for pointing that out for clarity's sake.

It did seem like Lee was one of the main chauffeur's for KC when she was out, which makes his statement that he really didn't talk that much to KC with noone else around, unbelievable.

But .... Cindy and George and Lee (in code) said MUCH MORE to Casey in the faux memorial than they said in any jail visit that was recorded. They could say the same words of love and support in a jail visit, that they gushed at the memorial - saying they hoped Casey could hear them......
I think there has been a line in the sand drawn (so to speak). That code talking at the memorial was so inappropriate, but the message was clear...we are all on the same page. Follow the script. If JB won't let them near her (and I'm not convinced of that yet), then something tells me they may be the sacrificial lambs. I'm thinking the As camp may actually be worried about something more than Casey's well-being IMO.

ETA: Can you imagine anything keeping CA away from seeing Casey if she wanted to? All she would have to do is go on camera stating that JB is keeping the family from seeing her, and the pressure would be on Baez. Nah something's not working here.

Snipped:
Are their lips moving? This whole family lies to the point that I question whether they understand the concept of being truthful.

Is it possible lying was ingrained in them, much in the way being truthful is ingrained in most of us, to the point they don't know the difference?

They definitely know the difference, but what makes us all wide-eyed crazy is that they feel absolutely no shame about getting caught in a huge lie. Moreover, they're not only cavalier when they're caught in a lie, they'll also look us right in the eyes and lie to us again, moments later.

If George and Cindy were kids of mine, I'd be utterly frantic about their lack of respect for the truth; about their lack of understanding that a lie is an insult to the person being lied to, and that it takes courage to be truthful but the rewards are great and immediate.

If Casey was a child of mine, I'd save my breath re the above and just sleep with my door locked. If Lee was a child of mine, I'd marvel at how handsome and promising his is, and I'd cry myself to sleep because he's so messed up. However, I'd try to find some solace in knowing he has a beautiful head of hair, and that if he ever starts balding, his eyebrows can be harvested for hair plugs without damaging his good looks in the least.

Seriously, I look at these five attractive people and I see so much promise...promise that they chose not to make the effort to fulfill.

It's tragic. And, when I also look at the suffering and injustice they're fostered, I find them more revolting and despicable than merely tragic.

I never tied the car to this...and now I believe more than I ever did that Casey may not have been there that evening.

rr, I have felt this way from the beginning and I'll tell you why.....Sunday nights are 'off' nights for those in the service industry . I think she huffed off to Lee's after she and CA fought, with Caylee in tow, left Caylee unattended (possibly drugged) at Lee's and went out with TL. This is the reason for Lee's strange behavior IMO. But what do I know?

Yes,yes, how silly of me. Zanny told her WHAT she was to buy at Target as well. She also told her to get the Tatoo, steal from Amy, and abandon her car at the Amscott. :waitasec:

don't forget, told her to put caylee's corpse in the trunk of her car and then go watch movies with tony!!!
