2009.03.02 - Motion Hearing (Casey Tries to Halt Release of Evidence)

I was in the courtroom today. KC didn't turn around to see her parents until JB whispered to her. She gave them a very brief smile with barely any eye contact. I was outside the courtroom before the hearing and saw CA and GA enter the courtroom unaccompanied. Their atty had already entered. CA did not look grief stricken. She looked as if she had no stress in her life which may very well be true. She has lost a considerable amount of weight and was dressed up for a change. She has an expensive hair make-over and the harshness in her face is gone. She's had some make-up coaching or something. She just looked wealthy. When the SA or Sentinel or OCSO spoke she would shake her head in disagreement. She wore several bead bracelets, one which said "courage"on one silver bead, one looked like it could have been a locket bracelet and including a "Forever in our hearts" white silicone bracelet. She did not look like the person we've come to know on tv. While she may have been there for kC, I do not think KC received comfort from knowing her mom was right behind her in court. She barely glanced at them when she left the room. Mr.Morgan was not in court today. The body language expert Susan Constantine was in the courtroom today.

TY so very, very much for giving us this first-hand accounting. Would you tell us a bit about your perceptions of George, too?

Again, TYVM.

Not sure if this has been answered or not, haven't had time to read the whole thread, but here's the deal:

On the CD I got from the SA last fall, there were 2 PB folders. One was the whole account (Non-filtered) and the other was June only (Filtered, just for pics uploaded in June).

Of course, the file I gave ya'll was the whole enchilada, non-filtered. :)

I will see if I can get a copy of what is being released now, to see if it's the same as what I got last fall. Busy week for me though, ya'll will have to be patient....
So very much appreciated!!

WOW! Thanks for the info. Must be nice to see it played out close-up.

From what I saw today in Cindy and George is both of them seem well enough to be deposed by Morgan...They didn't seem to fragile to me.
George has been out and about with Haleigh and Cindy looked like she would kill today if she got half a chance....DEPOSE THEM ALREADY!!!

I agree with you, how do the A's get away with EVERYTHING???????
Not right, there is PROOF right there!
And who is paying for this NEW LAWYER? the best of the accident recreators???

There were two cameras in the courtroom. One was a still shot camera which was very active before court. It was positioned in the jury box. That's the location where we expected the video camera to be. The video camera was on the far left in the row behind the Anthonys.

Yes, I was very disappointed with today's view.

You should have seen him in the very first bond hearing, when he was cross-examining people - Cindy, George, YURI (Yuri looked at him like he was crazy, heh)

I would have fired him on the spot, he was so bad. I think that's why he hired this new attorney - just saw a piece on one of the local stations, he says his favorite thing is cross-examination, which is DEFINITELY not one of Baez's strong suites.
OMG...if Baez was left to do cross the trial may never end.

Well, Judge Strickland today said something to the effect of, "I understand why you don't want these released"...I can't imagine he'd say that about a few girlfriends snapping pictures of bad table manners and azz grabbing...JMO, of course.

Then there is MY personal favorite, the tinkle on the asphalt, complete with the stream :D

Thank you so much for sharing your firsthand knowledge of the proceedings.

Thankyou for the inside info!

HOTDOGS.........great pix.....thanks.........the A's don't look fragile or in grief to me........loving photo to PROVE united???

wealthy..............making money to make ends meet somehow IMO........
selling out on Caylee??? IMO

Hotdog! Thanks for the pics of George & Cindy! I was hoping to see a pic of the 'pins' people said they were wearing.

Cindy and her gum chewing drives me crazy...at the memorial in church and now in court...these people have no manners...She needs to be smacked up side the head for smacking that gum in court!!!!!
Cindy and George were both chewing gum in court today. Last time there was a hearing a guard came around in the middle of the hearing and told two different folks to remove their gum. I guess the Ants do get special treatment.

Seriously! That's disrespectful to chew gum in court IMO.

My ex-husband got called out by the judge on that! :D

Oh, Amil, what about the new attorney that Jose introduced, I can't remember his name now, but when he stood up, I thought he looked like a linebacker! Was he that big in person?

Oh, LJ, how did I forget...
What kind of friend take a pic of you tinkling in public, anyway?

ETA: I guess she's gotten them (the "friends", I mean) all back, 100 fold...
