Wow. Marc Klass is right on. No long term relationships, pretend play.

I will never understand why KC felt the need to steal from SP for a cake for Caylee...likely, the money that her parents gave her she spent partying and on herself...and rather than start a family broohaha...she stole from the grandmother to pay for the party. I mean why not just ask SP for the money. SP says in the interview she would have gladly given KC the money since it was for Caylee...and yet KC stole it from SP. I can only think CA had already given her the money and KC was afraid that SP might mention that KC borrowed more for the party and it would cause yet another brawl between KC and CA...and yet she does an even far worse thing..steals from SP and obviously causes an even bigger problem. Masochist much or just doesn't care?

... for the thrill of stealing and getting away with it. Sometimes people want to get caught and get in trouble. It starts out testing boundaries, becomes a thrill and then, an addiction. Some people will steal just to steal -- no need to just does it. CA enabled KC's bad behavior.

I wonder what LP has in mind with acquiring this land ? I would like to see a permanent memorial placed there for Caylee.

So would Leonard P. Unfortunately the Homeowners Association has already announced that they are against that idea. So I doubt if a memorial will be allowed.

ETA: at least not on this spot.

Yes, I've heard that Kleptos do that. They don't even need it, and/or it may be some stupid cheap little thing that gets them caught.

The thing about KC is that she didn't hit stores, she stole from those who trusted her.

LP is talking about purchasing the land where caylee's body was discovered & eventually make a "Park" dedicated to Caylee & then donate the land to the County

It's a nice Idea but I don't believe him - I think this is Just another Publicity stunt

Got him back on NG tonight. I would leave the land alone and create a memorial elsewhere but not LP, the family or SP.....

She'd be immediately arrested and charged if she got caught shoplifting, but her family all gave her a pass.

Good point. She was able to keep her record clean. I wonder if there are juvenile charges, though.

True, but to me that's a LOT worse, both that she is stealing not just from parents (which happens) but friends and her grand parents. KC is praying on an easy target as well as trusting CA will defend her.

If KC stole from stores then not only is the risk higher but also getting caught is outside of CA control.

KC went for 'soft' targets, literally.

Caylee's demise was just an escalation of her activities and dysfunction in the family, Caylee was a soft target, the ultimate spite against CA and, she never considered getting caught and LE being involved.

She thought that they would keep it in the family but the family was on a destructive spiral and this blew it!!!

When I hear KC in jail sometimes say she wants Caylee home, I think she regrets what she did, now that she is in jail. Doesn't regret killing Caylee, just that she got caught and is in jail and wants that to go away.

Oh I've been wondering that too, like maybe she did start out stealing from businesses and turned to stealing from friends and family after she got caught? I think there are a lot of secrets we don't know. MOO

Very good points! I also agree that the only reason she wants Caylee to come home alive (as she said in the video) was because this time she got caught and wants to go home herself. MOO

It certainly is confusing for me. Before this happened they were struggling with all of the bills they owed. Now they can afford all of their bills and neither one of them is working, that I know of. Lee said in his depo that he moved back home for financial reasons, whether that was beneficial for him or his parents, I don't know. They have to be getting help from somewhere !

I've often wondered if that's why they are so forgiving now. Do they enjoy being retired but minus a granddaughter more than they enjoyed scraping to get by with her?
In the doc dump today, the coworker commented on how mad Cindy was that she had to pay all that money to get the car out of the lot. More so then how mad she was that her granddaughter was being kept from her. Telling.

Add to that, are they also paying for their attorney, BC and LA's attorney, TL?

Hinky.

I agree and wonder where the money is coming from. It takes months to get social security disability so where is the money coming from? Caylee photos and videos? The whole thing is sick.

Did they sell Caylee's pictures to news sources?

I think that is probably exactly where it's coming from. Profiting off a dead child. MOO Sure Casey's their daughter but if you're having financial difficulty you just don't have an extra $100. to send her for jail "goodies".

Hinky.

Don't forget DC, the private investigator, his bill was up around $90,000 a few months ago, according to JH.
