I really don't think JB can pin it on CA. Caylee was with CA on June 15, yet later cell pings place Casey at home. Wether GA recalled correctly or not that he saw both Casey and Caylee on June 16th. Pings and some computer usage show Casey at the A's on the 16th. Also, there were too many calls & texts between CA & Casey during that month... some of which were while CA was at work. I'm sure co-workers overheard CA asking of Caylee. Casey actually implicates herself and only herself by lying continually of where Caylee is during that month.

No matter how crazy CA has acted since that 911 call, there really isn't anything to substanuate a motive for her to hurt Caylee whether purposely or accidently. Nor GA or Lee. I think JB is just going to infer it could be anyone else by attacking all evidence. Although lawyering up after lying to LE is Casey's right, in this instance, not assisting to find her daughter is quite daming. And if there was any other person involved she would have saved herself since it's always about Casey.

That's very true,but I wonder if just linking the evidence from the home is a way for JB to try and throw both A's under the bus.They have done some "clean up" and cover up .They both certainly pushed the "Caylee is Alive" scenario right up until her body was found. They hired their own lawyers. Neither was in a hurry to properly say goodbye and lay her to rest.Neither has been seen actually grieving ,as you would expect grandparents to do.
I think KC did it and the SA will prove it,but I could see JB throwing both A's under the bus ,along with a host of others.

I have the haunting thought that they are after her brother. Think about what she said about Lee to Jesse. She would get sympathy from Baez and team if she told them Lee molested her and then top it off her parents knew...
It would explain the lies the secrecy...but who would buy it? Wouldn't it be WOW if her brother was the father......her parents didn't know to after...the hinted things said at memorial...must stay together strong family...:liar: who knows so many lies

Except the FBI disproved incestuous paternity of Caylee. Maybe even THEY got tired of the rumors

I also doubt that anyone would buy KC as a helpless victim, when it appears that KC and CA rule the roost.

Also, claims of anything done to here by anybody would neither get her sympathy (she lies) nor would it make any difference to an insanity defense (she knew what she was doing).

I think they are looking to blame whoever they can. I'm especially concerned about DC because of his searching of the area. I think he is their 1st choice but everyone whose records they've requested should be worried- i know i would be if it was me. I don't trust JB at all. My gut tells me he will not hesitate to play dirty. Its painfully obvious he's gearing up for a "fishing" trip and that's just not right. Thank god for Strickland. I think he is doing a great job with this very difficult, nightmarish case.

I wonder if KC realizes that once this trial is done and over with(she will get jail time for at least one of her felonies) that Mr. Baez will be moving on to the next high profile client. He is not going to be her buddy. KC strikes me as a jealous, possessive type. When his attentions turn elsewhere, that in itself will destroy her ego while she rots in jail. It is just comforting to know that Kc will be in jail... time to think about all the rotten things she did. No matter what in the end, KC won't have a friend in this world.

If the stories of her wanting the trial moved to Miami so she can hit the beach after trial are accurate then she has noooooooooo clue and not only is she a pathological liar to others but to herself as well.

I read on Blink's blog that her sources say that he (JB) is interested in getting the pings from these records more than the actual call records. I am working today and don't really have time to put my mind to this right now, but I thought I'd throw that out there to see what you all think about that.

Yes I would think the pings would be the main thing since no one involved in murdering a child (or involved in any kind of crime) would text about it, surely, or even discuss it on the phone for that matter. Seems like the pings would be very important for helping establish where people were when, also to get an idea of who was calling whom when, etc. Just hope they get all the phones for each person though, and what if anyone was using a phone under a false name or using a stolen phone, or whatever. Can that be tracked very easily I wonder, I mean can they still track it to the actual user somehow?

IMO, he doesn't care about who they were talking to because that might blow his point. If there is a ping in that area and he's talking to Casey then that's not gonna help him. I think there are other people they could've called that would hurt the case too.

Presumably the defense think it can only be beneficial to get these phone records, or else they wouldn't be asking for them. I would imagine they're hoping to uncover evidence that's vital to the case and the defense, for example, to establish everyone's whereabouts/timelines, who they were in touch with, etc. I think it's logical for them to want the phone records from months leading up to Caylee's disappearance to months after the discovery of her remains, there could definitely be something relevant even months before and after. I just hope they're spreading the net wide enough, I think they should ask for more people's phone records. (And definitely not limited to calls or texts between the person and Casey, as one of the lawyers was suggesting in his objection. That made me laugh.)

I guess the defense needs all the smoke they can muster because several layers of duct tape over a sweet baby's mouth/nose sure looks bad. Yup---they need a lotta smoke. JB can't even give a respectful presser. Trying to have the report sealed til trial---then goin outside and LHAO---not nice at all. I sure hope AL brings some dignity to the table.

Looks like Tony L. has a lawyer. I am thinking this is to fight the phone records Jose is trying to obtain ? Or is it too late for that since they already had a hearing on the matter ? He will probably need this atty when the trial gets going. I wonder who his atty is.

The time frame requested seems ridiculous. I would imagine that if TL's lawyer objects to it, the judge would agree to reign in JB. It sounds like JB is operating under the premise that "it doesn't hurt to ask."

I may be wrong but I can't see a judge allowing this.
