Does anyone else think that this may be why the DP was reinstated?

I don't know if this - the surveillance photos - is why the DP was reinstated. BUT, I do think that the prosecution got some sort of forensic results that put KC at the scene where Caylee's remains were found, and that was the basis for the DP being reinstated.

Nancy asking Dr. Michael Bell about the test results from the Oakridge Labs. He's saying it's like an "odor fingerprint" of the air in the car indicating human decomposition.

Nancy also brings up cadaver dogs hitting on the car trunk.

RG: Scientific evidence will have to stand on it's own, can't use CA's comments about the smell to make the scientific evidence any better.

JL: Air sampling may be a strong challenge, hasn't been verified as strong area of science. A's statements will bolster state's position on scientific evidence. Defense needs to keep this air sample test out.

Good points! Also, I think she probably drove it around the area until it was almost out of gas, and by the time GA got to the tow yard two weeks later what gas was in it evaporated, and naturally he'd get the gas cans knowing how Casey always ran out of gas. MOO

I'm not sure about that, but knowing what we do about Casey running the tank on "E" I'd say it probably was by the time GA got to it. Sitting out in the hot sun for two weeks would turn what might have been the tank to vapors. MOO

I think this is going to be a big point at trial.

She really has no excuse for leaving her car there unless she was in fact out of gas.

I don't agree with LP that LE would have released this sooner if it meant anything. They only needed enough to get her indicted. Why tip their whole hand right away? Also, they may have held some things back in case she went for a plea. Then they could use it to see if she was telling the truth.

I agree, and not only the gas issue, but hopefully the video will show her retrieving the items out of the car that TL described ~ minus Caylee's doll, as another poster pointed out. That will be huge, imo.

This is just my opinion, but I'd imagine this video has been at the FBI lab for enhancement. It could be possible it just became available for release as the state may not have had possession of it all this time. MOO

Well, perhaps the video will show that nobody messed with the car after it was abandoned. I believe once it went to the tow yard itself it was in a secured area? So they could prove that nobody put a dead body in the trunk after KC abandoned it. Maybe it shows her spraying air freshener in the trunk.

We still don't know when Caylee was murdered - How she was Murdered -Why she was murdered or When the body was dumped

The jurors might want answers to these questions before sending Casey to her death
