Nancy's more concerned about his lack of experience in trying a DP case than the other stuff mentioned.

Leonard is saying trial should stay in Orlando. People aren't all that prejudicial there and haven't all made up their minds.

I believe she was talking about the different ways people grieve when she mentioned Susan, but that doesn't make sense. Maybe she was talking about something else...can someone remember ? My memory is failing me or I am blocking LKB out to protect my psyche.

Ok - JB filed the motion for COV today - can someone tell me when the motion will be ruled on? And what that's likely to do for a trial date?

If the judge rules in favor of the defense motion and moves the trial to another jurisdiction, the trial date will likely be delayed. The county to which the trial is moved will have to fit the trial into their trial schedule.

I believe there will be a date set to hear the defense motion, as the prosecution will also have a say.

Judging by all that has come out over the past two days, it seems that JB does think he can have his cake & eat it, too:

Has a child - does not pay support or health insurance
Joins a gym - doesn't pay for it
Hires and expert Dr - defaults on payment
leases a car - while writing bad cheques

Heck - the man even had fancy-schmancy business cards 'with a gold seal in the middle' and then didn't pay for those.

That boy isn't about the cake - he's all about the icing on the cake and leaves the crumbs to others.

Exactly, LKB said "everyone grieves differently", while that may be true, it has no relevance to Casey because she wasn't grieving at all !

I think they are thrown all kinds of cases out there so they can confuse e-body. Must be the accident lawyer they have---cause a train wreck and he will come in and clean up the mess.
