The point is there was nobody there to represent the people today, even after advance notice.

I expected the Judge to go ahead and rule today, one way or the other - just like he ruled that Baez could have his phone records for the people who didn't have an attorney present today to argue right to privacy.

Disguiseduser has a good theory, that the Judge is wanting someone to come forward so he gave more time. It looks bad to release the video with nothing but arguments by attorneys as to why it shouldn't be released. I hope someone comes forward for the people at the next hearing.

I agree, and I believe someone will.

This is the part where GA got verklempt. He was looking down very hard and either crying or trying not to cry. It was truly a pitiful sight.

What are your reactions to JB's claim that during his deposition with Lt. Uncer, she denied making some of the comments about KC which appeared in her LE depos.

Also, IIRC, the male jail employee JB deposed was critical of what was done to KC that day.

Read the amended motion Jose filed yesterday evening for this hearing. It has more details about his depos of Uncer and Richardson. I'd really like to see the transcripts of those two depositions. I think Jose tried to give a transcript to the county's attorney today but the judge said it makes no difference as she still has no time to prepare. I wonder if once he hands over the transcript it will become public.

The defence also brought up Jesse's polygraph test. *hmm*
Is it possible he failed on certain questions?
Is the defence allowed to view His results?

Jesse was one of the very, very first people to contact LE early on, before Yuri even had a chance to contact him, he volunteered very early on as well to take the polygraph and he voluntarily gave access to all of his phone records etc. The test is not to be admitted in court and is not part of the discovery. He is not the only one of her past lovers that was polygraphed, Lazaro and Morales were and possibly others as well, so that LE could rule them out. Jesse has helped in every way possible LE and I think he has shown a honorable amount of restraint considering the framing of him Casey and her folks are doing. They are going to say Jesse is the one who did this to the baby.

Granted, they could have been the three muskateers out of the courtroom, but the interaction between the A's and Brad was almost non-existent. Maybe it was a seating issue or something.

You are correct. She absolutely did not. It was very sad. Imagine two sedated Yorkies fervently awaiting the return of their mistress and not being acknowledged.

Thank you kindly for your first hand reports. If you can stand another question, did you see KC acknowledge her parents at all? I have read two differing reports of this. Some say yes, some no.

Correct me if I am wrong but this was pretty much 1 1/2 hr long hearing to set new hearings? I know they argued the privacy issues etc. but it pretty much amounted to a hearing to schedue a hearing.

Well, had the pro hac vice motion been filed with the Clerk by the defense then that could have been addressed.

Then if the Supplemental Motion had been noticed to the press by the defense then that also could have been addressed.

It's hard to plow the field when you have a cart and no horse...

As I said, the SA isn't 'the people'. The people need a chance to respond. IT's cool that the SA has no objection either way. The SA can care less if anything is ever released again.
