Didn't we see a picture at one time of a cloth (laundry?) bag in Caylee's room overflowing with balls? IIRC, there were all sorts of different balls in the bag. I just can't recall if it was mesh, or canvas like the laundry bag. It was from pictures before Caylee was killed.

Anyone else recall seeing that photo? I think the bag was near a door - either the door to Caylee's room or closet.

why were they asking about what was kept in the freezer in the garage?

when they were askin about the dog crates on the top shelf of the garage and GA said there were two of them and that they were kept in garbage bags, SA asked ....something....like.....then the second one would have been in a bag as well?

i took that as only one dog crate was in a plastic bag but the other one was not...so there for a missing garbage could mean?? the one that was used for caylee?

i also thought it was interesting that the bag/laundry bag used to hold the balls in....had a rubber lining inside......does that suggest then that caylee was first put into the trunk with out that laund/bag and then after decomp got into the trunk casey used the laundry bag.....?? maybe...thinking out laud here

I am so not buying the A's separation was mostly financially related. GA testifies he and Cindy separated approximately two months after Caylee was born. That says to me:

GA was upset KC had become a young mother, despite testifying how elated he was.

GA was upset they had no idea who the father of Caylee was, despite attempting to appear as if it did not matter.

GA pushed for KC to be a responsible human being/parent. Perhaps he wasn't as good of a role model as he should have been. But, I cannot fault him for being concerned about how KC would care for Caylee.

GA knew everything with KC was wrong.. and when he tried to make it right for Caylee, Cindy ran him over like a truck. I'm pretty sure that's because Cindy really wanted that baby. Cindy didn't care as much so long as she had Caylee. There obviously came a point where GA saw how wrong things were. And when he put two and two together, the carp hit the fan. Cindy wanted that baby girl more than anything.. more than her husband or even KC.

I am convinced, Cindy's only interest was keeping Caylee. That's why she had to keep the princess happy. So she could keep sweet Caylee. So totally twisted.

I don't think it was in the Greta visit video.

I am not positive, but IF I am recalling correctly, a bright sleuther dug it up in old pictures and brought it out as a comparison of either the bag or changes in Caylee's room in either one of the laundry bag threads or around the time when we saw the release of the pictures that LE took during the Dec 08 search warrant visits.

I'll dig for it in the threads after I read the depos.

George is such a dolt! Hard to believe he graduated from college with all his "I seen" and "her and Casey" isms. What a sap!

I was shocked to discover his degree too, particularly because on page 7, he said he was born on Sept 9, 1951 (which made him a few weeks shy of 58 years old when he gave this deposition). On page 9, line 14, he says, "I have a sister who is 7 years older than I am. She'll be 60 -- wow."

If this stupid, stupid man manages to outwit the prosecution or sway the jury in KC's favor, I will go completely postal. :banghead:

I have just read both of their depos ( brave of me, I know) and I can only say they are both the most inept, transparent liars I have ever come across.

I'm a slowish reader (esp. reading a PDF, I'm of an older generation heh) but I saw on page 80 that KC had forged a check out of her brother LA's bank account when she was in high school.

Did I read that right? Strange GA doesn't remember much about the details.

Sorry if this had been covered in Caylee's forum, I don't follow this case as closely as others here do, I just stop in and read your discussions about the doc dumps :blushing:

I just finished reading GA's depo up to page 100. So far, one thing I've noted is that GA can be very specific when remembering things that have no real bearing on Casey's criminal case (or the check fraud), but as soon as Casey's bad behavior, stealing a check from Lee, was brought up he had trouble remembering when it happened and the details. There was a real change in George's pattern of answering the questions.

I also thought George's reaction to Casey's pregnancy was not typical. Most fathers would ask, "who's the father", and inquire if the father intended to financially support his child. Most fathers would ask if his daughter and the baby's father intended to marry.

Are we over-thinking the freezer line of questioning?

Were they simply trying to establish that Casey had been in the garage to steal stuff out of the freezer the day she dumped the sunfire at Amscot? Remember when Tony picked her up she had a used grocery bag of frozen stuff that he thought she'd grabbed from her parents? (Tyson's chicken maybe? Or was that one of the Target purchases?)

Either way, perhaps they were trying to verify that and establish something to do with the car &/or body dump timeline? Casey steals food from the freezer, perhaps grabs other items, dumps the car, Tony picks her up with frozen food.

I wonder about this whole dynamic-GA has left their house once, filed for divorce before CA did, and had no problem seeking out other women on the net (daily), so why is he holding on so tightly to his "family" now that he is willing to tow CA's line? He knows the truth of what he encountered that day he picked up the car and other things before, why the dramatic change? If CA threatened divorce if he did not start telling her version, well, they have been down that road before, and divorce was not an all together foreign prospect to GA.

I guess this could be an altered state of normal for families that go through this, but I have to wonder if CA threatened GA with some sort of exposure. It's just that his testimonies from beginning to now are so night and day, I want to know why the pivot.

IMHO, I think at this point, it's all about the $$$. If GA left, he'd have to work again.

JB can make almost the same statement about George as he did about KC.
BAEZ: They want you to believe that this 58 year old ex-cop is a master forensic sleuth who could outwit and outsmart the entire FBI but still be dumb enough that he can't do simple math!!:banghead:
