I agree with the poster who said CA has dead eyes. I haven't seen her in awhile, I know we are not supposed to discuss her appearance, but she does not look well. I might be looking at a different person. I wonder if JB is still "advising her" how to look.

OK...I probably ain't gettin this...BUT...hasn't the murder trial been pushed back already because of AL?? Because of her "teaching" schedule.....NOW, they can't take time for the check case?? Why the heck did AL take on this case if she has other "commitments" ?? If the murder trial is soooo demanding, why then is she concentrating on her educational commitments?? She has "time" for that!!!

Any one have screen caps of the crying. I would like to see that.

What does the defense hope to gain by postponing the check fraud charges? There has to be a reason that they want it postponed other than that the murder case is more important.

100% - If the check fraud case goes forward before the murder case, and she is found guilty (duh) - the pros can refer to KC as convicted felon - the jury pool would know about the conviction - I think

How about your client just plead guilty on the check fraud case, Jose??

  • #326
YAYYYYY!!! The prosecution just gave, what I consider, a "zinger" to the defense's "other" commitments".....

Wrapping things up. Those of us who are believers need to pray for Judge Strickland.

Cindy smiled, leaned forward and tried to speak to Casey, Casey ignored her it seems.

How sad/pathetic was that...her parents trying to catch her eye...she refusing to even bother looking their way?!

Really...get a PD for the check case.

MOO - I feel JS should allow the check fraud charges to go forward prior to the murder trial. KC has no idea what she's in for and I'd love for her to have a smidgen of a taste with the fraud charges. I know the likelihood of that happening is pretty slim but, a girl can hope.

What happened with TES?

Ahhhh, got it! And with the evidence there is no way she is going to be found not guilty on the check fraud stuff so it is basically a matter of it making her look better.

Can some of the particulars of the Check fraud case be brought into evidence in the murder trial whether or not it has been tried?

I am just disgusted to look at these two grandparents gushing over their murderess daughter. Am I mistaken or did I see Cindy smiling and motioning to Casey. I am sorry but it is clear to me why Caylee is no longer with any of these people. She was too good for the lot of them.

CA looked as if she has been crying and like she wanted to hug the perp. Perp didnt even give her parents a second glance. Shook hands with everyone else and left.

As usual.

I'd love to know if Casey acknowledged GA and CA. It didn't look like it but it was hard to tell.

Dang...Cindy was practically knocking people over to get the inmates attention....to no avail! The inmate totally ignored her.

They actually called out to her...if I was reading lips correctly. CA was all red in the face...trying to make eye contact...get herself seen through all the standing attorneys...so sad. But, you go right ahead George and keep lying for your daughter...and PLEASE then tell me how that serves Caylee.

They can ask, but probably not a good idea - as they would be questioning the judge's ability to be impartial. The judge doesn't live in a bubble. A good judge can separate the law and the issues from NG.

You got me wrong on that. I think what he ment was he did a search, and found out PD was on everywhere. And that JB didn't make an issue of it THEN.. so why now. I believe the Judge was pointing out, on record, how silly JB's request is at this point.

That is what I got from his comments. Not that he watched NG. What did others hear? It happened so quick.

And I agree with you, I sure wouldn't attempt to use it as such. OUCH!
