I always assumed LE was waiting for the seemingly inevitable break-up of Lee and Mallory. Then they'd step in and interview Mallory. Odds are that a young dating couple would eventually break-up, especially with the stress of this mess. I assumed LE was acting uninterested in her and waiting for the relationship to takes it's course. Pretty good odds that Mallory would have a blow-up with Cindy at some point. How could you not? I assume they gave up waiting for her to break free of the Anthony clan. Only then do I believe she'll veer from the family script. I'm not expecting anything to come form her depo. :banghead:

The problem is, the Anthony's are superficially very nice people (when dealing with those they "trust" and including KC). Believe it or not, and I know it's Cindy, but I don't think CA gets into LA's private life too much. I think LA gets the benefit of being a grown man with his own life-Of course, he earned it, he has kept a job and is capable of having his own house. And maybe he has set her straight about crossing that line-LA seems fairly direct with his parents, but does not seem to be disrespectful to CA (GA is another story).

Overall, in spite of CA's cover ups for KC all these years, I don't think CA did not want KC to ever move out and get a life-Mothers always say we want our kids to stay with us forever, but in reality, we know our kids have to leave the nest if they're ever gonna start their own family. The problem came when KC got pregnant with Caylee and showed some pretty dangerous signs out of the gate as far as caring for Caylee. Concealing a pregnancy is telling behavior, and CA knew it. At that point, KC and Caylee became CA's domain, and CA continued to be the martyred workhorse.
I do think there would come a time, if KC showed signs of normality, that CA would want KC out so she could retire alone with her husband.
But back to your post, I think LA gets the "son" treatment that we daughters hate when we're teenagers-our brothers get to stay out later, etc...if there is going to be an issue with MP and CA, I would think it will be after they are married, anyway, when MP is the true woman in LA's life and is there 24/7.

I think Lee has lied through his teeth every time he says he believes his sister. The one person he would have told he didn't is Mallory. If this did happen, I hope like crazy that she is afraid enough of perjury that she tells the truth to the prosecutors.
Mallory knows much about Casey (from Lee) least, I would imagine she does! Hopefully she will be the one person in this family who cares more about Caylee than the BS the rest of them put before her!

Wonder if Mallory was around at the time of the pregnancy. I am still flabbergasted that this 20 year old 7 or 8 month pregnant Mom shows up to deliver a baby with little (if any) prenatal care and no red flags were alerted at the hospital to make a referral to CPS. The incident with CA holding the baby first was certainly a tension between KC and her Mom ever since.
There were certainly warning signs of an unwanted and un-thought-out pregnancy with KC and i am quite sure, CA displayed all of the signs of a delighted supportive Grandma to her nursing friends and hospital staff.
The birth thing still bothers me, who had insurance on KC for the pregnancy - CA couldn't unless KC had finished school or had a qualifying reason she needed to have extra time to accomodate a disability (super-seniors). KC was not in college nor had she finished highschool and most health policies will terminate for children once they turn 18, unless they are in school. If Mallory was around I am sure she would know some of those particulars as well (if she is even asked).

There was a persistent rumor that Mallory was pregnant. Obviously she wasn't, or else she is terribly overdue!

:waitasec:I just don't understand. How could LE not of interviewed her? She was at the home feeding the dogs the same day/time Caylee's remains were found from what I recall. She has been by the Anthony's side since day one. Why would LE not interview her? Could it be that the FBI did and LE didn't? Maybe the media is not aware of the interview or they are misreporting again?
I also wonder if she is pulling a TL on the Anthony's? That would be wonderful...wishful thinking...but wonderful.

On another note, anyone know if she also got a tattoo? TIA

I just have to say I'm stunned Mallory has never been depositioned. I do remember her feeding the dogs at some point as well. The mere fact that she was so close to the Anthony family at the time knowing their comings and goings.The general feel as to the reaction of Caylee gone missing and THEN to find her remains! She was there in the inner circle so to speak. She had to have heard so very much. I'm sure alot of that would be hearsay, but come on she was there!

I have been fairly confident in all the LE in this case but this one baffles me.

I remember he posted on his my space a scathing, I mean scathing open letter in December of 2006, to one girl that he had been dating after she left her bad guy,husband, H., the marine,( I think that is who it was) she got pregnant by Lee, went back to her husband, was going to say the child was husband's but then had a secret abortion. Lee
was tore up hurt, and LIVID, it was palatable. Do you remember seeing that? This guy that she went back to , is the very one I think Casey may have been planning to run to and disappear with if she would have been able to stall Cindy off a little longer. I'm pretty sure Lee is still living with C&G, he's been there a long time,( he moved back shortly after Caylee's remains were found). I was wondering if Mallory is living there too.

Not sure, they were not living together prior to this, and LA mentioned this in the deposition-He seemed just fine with having his own space for now. Perhaps he's proper in this sense, and he'll jump into that when he gets married.

if they are getting thousands of dollars how could cindy be drawing disability . if they have other means of income .. i dont think she is getting it cuz i know with my mom if there is other means of income she cant get it .. and she is disabled she has a bone degeneration disease and fibro and ga too if you collect unemployment i dont think you can have that kind of money and get it ..

Social Security Disability benefits are figured on what you paid into the system while working. They don't care if you have other means of income unless it comes from the government - i.e. unemployment insurance. You can receive dividends, interest, payments for sales of items, etc. without it affecting your benefits. You can even work and earn up to $980 per month without losing benefits. If you make over $980 per month your payments may be reduced but only if the money is from working. Your mom should be eligible when her unemployment runs out, but it's tough to get on SSD - you really need a lawyer. Not fair, but true.

Many private disability insurance policies are based on the SSD program, but some are more generous - depends where your insurance is from.
My sister is on SSD but also had a policy thru' work which sends her additional checks every month.

Ca could be on SSD and/or might have had a policy thru' work. Her SSD benefit might be a decent amount as she was working steadily for years.

In Lee's deposition, he actually apologized to Mallory when he said she was NOT number ONE in his life...He said Sorry baby, if I am not mistaken. I think she came in 3rd after Cindy AND Casey. Anyone else recall that?

Anyhow, I am VERY anxious to hear about Mallory's text messages with Casey the night when she AND Lee were downtown looking for her, was it July 2nd or 3rd? Am also NOT expecting a word out of line with the Cindy Anthony screenplay...I mean, come on, that girl is marrying Lee...no way she is going to go in there and tell anything UNLESS they have some evidence to throw in her face on certain subjects and she has no choice. Otherwise, think of this as an exercise in futility for all the useful information she will voluntarily provide.

Too bad Kio went and sold her "story" to that tabloid...I think she may have lost some of her credibility then. "Woulda, coulda, shoulda" I know...but...if only they tore up that whole area...including the swamp (actually mentioned on tape) maybe Caylee would have been laid to rest a whole lot sooner.

Not only would little Caylee have been laid to rest sooner, but just think of the evidence that would have been preserved.

Thanks so much. I would have missed that one. It is very informative! Wow, Kio shared her beliefs with this couple, didn't she? Casey's old friend didn't seem to be doubting what had happened, or where in the general vicinity to find Caylee. I see CA has a reputation with the neighbors. So glad I got to hear some truthful talk for once.

Good point-Maybe the upside for the state is that they have an idea of what they're dealing with, instead of letting JB use her to his advantage in court and them being blindsided by anything.
