2009.11.12 Mallory's deposition

She had a bf while separated. That's about it.

Sorry for the OT.

Who was this bf? And why have we not heard anything from him? He had to been around when the family dysfunction began to pick up big time....he might have some unique contributions to make....

Wait a minute! When was the CA bf around? Could he be the Dada? Wouldn't that make sense to keep it secret? Forgive me, just intriqued that CA might have had a bf hanging around and what Casey would have thought of that.

Back OT, Mallory, what'd you find out hanging out with those folks?

Do you mean Caylee's Dada? No, CA's 'boyfriend' came after she was born, when GA moved out, according to Mr Dickens, who seems to know what goes on in Hopespring Drive...

How do we KNOW she has never been interviewed by LE? I am pretty new here but just because we have not seen it in the doc dumps does not mean it has not happened. e.g. I am STILL looking for a legitimate transcript of Joyce and Bailey Dickens interview. :twocents:

Hello WS :)

I don't know if this qualifies as a legitimate transcript...prolly not because I transcribed it...but here you go if you want to see this interview written out.

I would very much like to see what Mallory has to say. I also wonder if it is true that she had not been interviewed until now. That does not seem to make sense. LE interviewed friends of friends and neighbors...but not Lee's girlfriend who was at the Anthony home the day Caylee's remains were discovered by LE? Strange if true...

I may be wrong, but this may be a similar situation as with Annie where she had to be brought in under state supoena before she would talk to LE...they may have just skipped THAT step and gone straight to the deposition with Mallory, considering her proximity to the family.

I do find it odd though that they have not discussed with her at the very least her activities regarding assisting to try to locate Casey in July and the texting that went on between the two of them in that particular instance. She was trying to trick Casey apparently but Casey became wise to the game and Mallory told Lee, according to Lee, she knows we are together...as in LOOKING FOR HER! Just seems out of typical protocol for them NOT to speak with this gal...:waitasec:

Oh Friday, I sure agree..
I can't help but hope that one person in this whole dang situation in that home will do what is right for Caylee.

Many many an ex wife or ex boyfriend has come forward to police once their relationship sours and divulged things they never would have during the relationship. Guilt lingers and the more evidence that comes out over the months and months we have until the trial the more opportunity we have for the entire family dynamics to unravel imo. In divorce cases we see people drag up and throw mud at the person they once loved, deep secrets that had been confided in the sanctity of the marriage are now things they level against one another in a custody fight for example. So yes with time, seasons and loyalties change. My Gram used to tell me never tell anyone anything you wouldn't be proud to have on a 5 ' poster hanging above your desk that says, "Julia said this....."! Gram was so dramatic, but she taught me many things, one was to keep things private, to myself. Relationships are like many things in life that begin and end.

Too bad your Gram never met the Anthony's! Wise woman your Gram!!

This made me laugh.. my mother used to say don't do anything you wouldn't want printed in the New York Times. I don't know if less known newspapers counted..:)

I tell my daughter not to do anything she wouldn't want posted on YouTube! Different era. Same sage advice :)

I haven't been here in a while and the article on the WFTV ch 9 website didn't have very much info about MP's depo. Did she have an attorney represent her at the depo? Was she offered immunity? Also since she and LA were on the cruise with GA and CA, would the prosecution have asked her about that trip?

In the photo on the ch 9 website accompanying the article where MP is on the recliner next to LA, she looks preggo. Is she? Would the SA ask her if she was preggo? Just wondering since they asked CA if she was on any meds that would affect her answers, would they ask MP the same thing?

(I finally got through reading all of GA's LA's, and CA's depos with the SA this past week.)

Thanks so much for the audiolink, I had always heard rumors about what the Ds said but never heard the audio. They were making even much stronger statements than I'd realized. I'm shocked that at that early date they were saying that Kio had said she "thinks the baby is buried back there" "maybe by the school, maybe by a pond/swampy area back there" etc. Much stronger and more specific than I'd ever thought. And that Kio had said her step-mother had been telling her for 2 weeks already that the baby is buried back there? Bizarre that Kio or her stepmother would have thought that then. After hearing this interview it's even weirder to me that LE didn't go tear those areas up to find the body.

It's also interesting seeing now how much of the media spin about Casey and her family was based on what was said in this interview. Never knew the Ds also had a son who knew Casey, (I knew the B's have a son a few years younger.) Interesting too that Mr. D said he'd gone walking back there after Kio mentioned all this to them. Never smelled or noticed anything on the way, presumably.

Also interesting about Kio travelling so much in her job, etc.

And the way the Ds relate what Kio said regarding the phone call on July 9 makes it clear that Kio did say at first it was a toddler she heard talking to its mother in the phone call, i.e. not Casey W's alleged 6/7 year old daughter.

Thanks again for posting the link!

and the transcript, too, Chiquita :)

I think Mallory loves the As and vice versa, Caylee called her Aunt Mallory.
Yes, it seems like several of Casey's Colonial High friends knew Mallory and Lee, too, especially the Lake Vaj group (Iassen, Dante, Annie, et al.)

Good questions...but if I were him I wouldn't surface either.

I can't remember now if it was Mark H ? (or was it Brandon S)

Scratch that, I just realized you were talking about the alleged boyfriend of Cindy's mentioned by the D's. Sorry! I thought you meant the boyfriend in the story of the ex-girlfriend of Lee's.

p.s. if anyone has any of that from Lee's myspace from way back please share, I've never seen it first hand :)

Lee Anthony MySpace Blogging

Small caveat, the language is very much "R" in nature. Enjoy!

Coming out of lurkdom to say "thanks". I've never seen this before. I made it to "Star Wars" before I nearly choked to death :floorlaugh:

Darn flu. It gives me a good excuse to lie around and get caught up though. lol

I don't believe Mallory will step one inch out of the Anthony line because that would require enough self-confidence to think for herself and enough courage to assert herself. If Mallory possessed these strengths, she'd never have been willing to subjugate herself to the dominance of Cindy, Casey, and Lee which she's undoubtedly had to do since the day she met them. I say that because, as we've all witnessed many times, Cindy, Lee, and Casey do not tolerate any form of opposition.

I 100% agree with your thoughts. If Mallory or her mother had any descent ethics or morals they would have ran from this family as fast as the accelerator could go. But instead they are placed on the board of directors for the Cindy nonprofit foundation. The one with free bears and a fishing boat that's all decked out. So, what does that say about Mallory and mom's character?

thanks very much, ThommyMac! Can you imagine anyone putting all that private stuff about someone on a myspace page like that? If he could treat her like that, it makes you think you might understand why she left. Not that I can't understand him being angry, of course. But the seething, hateful quality of it reminded me a bit of their uncle's rantings, a similar style.

Also thought the stuff further on about the character in Spongebob was interesting. I never paid attention to those details in that show before. Thanks again. :)
