"The State wants to kill Casey Anthony. It's an atrocious thing to want to kill another human being." Jose Baez.

This is the second time I've heard him use those exact words in an interview.

So what exactly does he think Caylee Marie Anthony was, if not "another human being." How much more "atrocious" can the murder of a two year old be, than at the hands of her mother? Sheesh.

A trick he learned from AL........she used similar words today in court - something like the state wants to kill my client. She does it for shock value - and she would say for clarity. He's a wannabe............not a gonnabe

If SODDI wouldn't you want to know the SA theory on what happened to little Caylee and whether she suffered? -- and vent your hurt and anger at the SODDI?

If SODDI wouldn't JB say he agrees with parts of the SA's theory but that SODDI not KC -- rather than state that he disagrees 100%?

If SODDI wouldn't you want every stone turned over to help free KC and find the real Perp?

All actions always point to the one and only Perp in the case, KC. Conscience of Guilt.

If SODDI they would have rushed over to the site, running every red light after departing the plane when they learned the remains had been found, they would have been out there in the rain with the LE, trying to learn what in the world. Instead, where did they go? To the Ritz Carlton. Wild horses couldn't have kept them from the site if they didn't already know. Can you imagine Beth Holloway at the Ritz if Natalee's remains are ever found? THEY KNEW!!! ( in my opinion)

JVM kept bringing up all Casey's bizarre behaviors while her daughter was missing which any juror is going to realize is just plain cold and uncaring. JB tries to make light of it. "Tattoo...Who knows why anybody does anything", he says. Well, JB, we kinda need to know because the People want to put Casey to Death for the killing of her little girl, and you're her attorney.

ITA. Leaving at that point was not supportive of their daughter either. The opposite really. Cover your ears if you have to but if you truly believe in the innocence of your child I'd think you wouldn't storm out.
Was it on LKL that GA, CA and BC denied the existence of duct tape on the skull at all or was it just the sticker??
I do believe that if they were really there, to just support Casey, that nothing could cause them to walk out of the court room. IMO, their exit was about them and their inabilty to hear the truth. They are still not willing to accept the truth about Casey's actions. They are well aware of the awful facts surounding Caylee's death, but as is their style, they refuse to listen to them.

The whole time Cindy and George have claimed to be standing by Casey, this is not the way parents stand beside their daughter.

I remember BC denying that duct tape was over Caylee's skull on Larry K, he may have denied the heart sticker too. I believe he said they found one of these items in a bag, not attached to Caylee, and that the state embellished the story.

Why did Cindy walk out? I also found it quite interesting that BC said they (G&C) are not entirely sure what happened -- insinuating that perhaps they think KC could have done it. It's about time they want the same answers we all do!

I believe they walked out when JA spoke about the details of Caylee's death. Here is the link to that part of the hearing...

I don't think for one minute the image BC is attempting to portray
of the Anthonys' is true. I would bet its killing CA not being able to spew her BS about
her perfect dgtr. They have been given instructions in hopes that anything they
testify to during the trial will be believed by the jury. You know their search for the truth
and all. IMO they have not changed one bit.

Jose, turn around and make the second part of that statement to your client.

Today of all days Caylee was truly close and her voice was heard in the telling of her horrible death. CA and GA have had to keep that voice down to stand by Casey, but today I hope thay heard Caylee crying to them for justice.

Something I just really don't understand..
Casey would know at this point not to say anything during a video visitation with her mother and father that would potentially be damaging to her case. Cindy and George would not say anything at this point that could possibly be damaging to Casey's case..
So why not go and visit her?
Do they not think they can restrain from asking the tough questions?
Can Casey not restrain from saying something incriminating to herself?

Cindy and George can't play that "We can't visit because of privacy issues" crap! They all know from experience the wrong way to go about visiting..

I just don't understand..
If they didn't think she was guilty, they would be there..

That's exactly what I don't get. At this point they all certainly know what not to say. And according to A Lyon today, all that is sought is an opportunity for CA and GA to tell KC they love her and support her. What's the big deal about doing that? KC's parents can offer words of support, they can tell her about innocuous things they've been doing, KC can tell them about what kind of food she's been eating, if she needs any socks for the winter or new underwear they could send her, what books she's been reading or would like them to send her for Christmas.

It would all be so boring that after watching the first time in the media, everyone would be bored. It's just no big deal. If these meetings for support and encouragement are so critically important, all they have to do is exercise some self-control, and dispense with the histrionics. That's not the jail's or the court's problem.

Plus why would anyone object to the public hearing you tell your child that you love them, and support them?GA and CA have certainly made these statements to the media, many many times.Hearing KC saying terms of endearment to her parents would be better released to the public than her other reactions we have seen. Nope--this motion is total bunk.I think it is all about control on KC's part, she is still punishing CA in the worst way possible. She is going to torture CA to the end on how little Caylee was murdered.JMO

I totally agree with you! They just can't go visit and even look in her lyin' face. It is too much for them to bear at this point. I can't think of any other reason they will not go to see her. :waitasec: Unless it is KC who refuses because she can't look them in the face? HMMMMMM

I totally agree.
I remember in a prior visitation, (I believe it is the one where she lashes out) she tells her parents that she wasn't suppose to take that visit, and she knows who she can and cannot speak with..
Makes me wonder if this is all Baez telling Casey not to visit with her parents..the hell with her emotions, he wants to be a "rock star!"
None of this makes any sense.
I wonder if Casey has flat told them she doesn't wanna see them? Cindy and George may be making excuses because as her parents, it is embarrassing to them to allow the public to learn that they are not wanted there..?:waitasec::waitasec:

I agree!
What better way to show her in a better light than to have a visit with her parents after a year? Sure, they will cry and tell one another how much they love each other....but wouldn't that tend to help the defense? Showing Casey does care about people ???? Not that I believe that for one second...but..really? Now that Caylee is gone, they don't have to discuss the things they did before,,now they can just be all googly with one another in a good way...
UNLESS
Casey's MOTIVE for killing Casey is exactly the reason she doesn't want to visit with her family......:waitasec:

I think the defense has made this motion, for that very reason-KC won't see them-they know the judge will not grant this motion, and poor poor KC-Just one more thing that the big meanies in LE have done to persecute this sweet young thing.

i agree that they could go and remain very non talkative.she did not seem to glance at them in court. seeing her behind a monitor phone-they could say you know i am not going to say much i just want to look at you and have you know i am here. maybe neither feel its good idea to go.

I read your post about being there, and would just like to say that I wished Cindy and George both can really see how most people out there who are blogging about Caylee really do have compassion! Thank you!

Alot of this is a replay of her "exclusive" with JB, but she opened the show with today's hearing and commentary and the BC interview. Wish she would get back to that.

Totally O, you are absolutely correct. Jose's appearance was from a previous taped interview from JVM's show.
I was surprised to see this done, especially after such a hard hitting court hearing earlier in the day. I would think the show would center around the day's action and not bring in a previous interview. I kinda feel cheated this was done. jmo

The focus in today's hearing on removing the death penalty tells me the defense doesn't have anything to clear its client from a guilty verdict. Instead the only victory the defense is counting on is not to have Casey put to death as her punishment. jmo
