I wish she could interview Casey!

Do you mean July 15th or 16th??? :waitasec:
Oh, I'm sorry, I got June and July confused. I meant July 15th or 16th, can't remember the exact day, but I think it was the 16th.

Since I could not be there...in court today...I am not above of the said bribery of which you speak...:woohoo:

You go girl (cuz you are much closer than I am) to thank Muzikman. BTW, anyone who has ever worked for a paycheck is not above bribes . . . . . just sayin

Bribery is such a strong word, I would prefer payment for services rendered. I see nothing wrong with it myself.

I think if you put anything over a childs mouth and nose there instinct is to pull it off and I bet the SA has evidence to back that up.

I've wondered if Caylee realized what was causing her discomfort? Did she have the reasoning capability to know she had to get the tape off her nose/mouth so she could breathe? I don't think she did.

Caylee may have instinctively wanted to remove the duct tape because it was uncomfortable or painful, just as children will try to remove an article of clothing that's restrictive. But I don't think she had the dexterity or strength to get the duct tape off her face.

So sad to have to discuss this, just so sad...

OT, last time I promise.

One of the things TL talked about in his depo, I believe the taping was cut off right after, is the conversation he had with Casey on June 15th or 16th. She tries to convince him that she had told him about the dead squirells in her car causing the smell. TL told her that she didn't tell him that and Casey got mad that he was questioning her on her "story".

I don't remember this, but I do remember that he was mad that she did not tell him about giong to Jacksonville with AH (which she never did go)...He made remarks about her maybe lying to spend time with RM, and she swears she told him, started to get upset-He told her he was just kidding, no biggie.

1. Don't know about rebroadcast.

2. There were 2 cameras, a big one trained towards the podium and judge most of the time; and a remote-control one near the front of the courtroom, by the jury box, that could catch the SA table, defense table and spectators, as well as the podium and judge. Both cameras were running simultaneously, although probably only one feed ended up on TV (unless they did a split screen, which would have been great!)

Don't know if Casey could really tell when it was pointed at her, it is kind of easy to forget about when someone is speaking.

From where I was sitting I could see the monitor and both views. Was pretty cool!

Awesome that you were there, Muzik! I also found you on the net last night, when I was at doc stoc looking up some things, and found some docs you posted....This KC case has really created a small internet world. Valhall and Blink are all the rage, too, it's great-OK, back to KC...

Just to clarify.....my use of the term "bribery" was meant with nothing less than appreciation and humor. I myself, find bribery / reward a useful tool. Pehaps, MM will post a "wish list" on another thread for purely hypothetical and humorous purposes.

Word. I was with you regardless. I think bribery is awesome. Also, no complaints from me on your hilariously awesome post. :woohoo:

I was fortunate enough to be able to go to the hearing today and it's so nice getting to see both viewpoints...mine from being there and yours from seeing it live. There is so much going on when you are there...listening to the people speaking, watching Casey (my best view of her was on the monitor which I was lucky enough to be sitting near), watching the Anthonys, etc. It's hard to absorb everything. That, plus the fact that AL pretty much drove me to tears from boredom...I think I tuned out almost all of her "DP-qualified jury" sermon.

I was sitting behind (lucky me) Joy, who was sitting behind the Anthonys. I thought Cindy looked very nice. She and George were dressed appropriately and they both had noticeably spent time getting ready. Cyndy's hair and makeup looked nice. Someone earlier posted that they thought she looked old(er), but, honestly, I thought she looked good. She had her head resting on George's shoulder prior to the start of the hearing. After the hearing started, during the 5 minute recess, she socialized quietly with her friends and supporters. She smiled and laughed a bit. My first thought was, "How can you socialize and be so casual at a time like this?!?" But then it was a reminder to me that life does go on for them. I can't expect them to be sad/angry/insane all the time. In the end, they are real people. (Did I ever mention to you all that she and George showed up at my daughter's school's homecoming game about a month ago???? My DD goes to a *very* small private school and we live by East Orlando which is nowhere near the Anthonys. I'm still not sure why they were there!! It's a mystery for me and I came **this** close to asking them today!)

Joy was....well, my personal opinion of her doesn't matter...so let's just say she was "Joy" in all her glory. Marching to the beat of her own drum. She spoke with the defense team (about what?)...marched right up there during the 5 minute recess and acted like she was Miss Thang. She had on this sequin shirt covered by a black jacket (it was nylon or something similar...all I know is that it made a lot of noise when she moved). She had on 2 homemade Caylee buttons...a lot of glitter was used in their construction. One said, "Justice for Caylee" or something like that. Perhaps we will be blessed with a YouTube video of her giving us a tutorial on making buttons: "You, too, can make tacky buttons!"

I missed the best part when Ashton spoke. AL babbled on and on and on....and I had to leave to go volunteer at my son's school, so by the time she finished droning on forever, I had to sneak out. Luckily I had WS to fill in what I missed! :)

Joke gotten, SOTS! Instead of "bribery" how about "incentive(s)"?

Muzikman........what sort of incentive would you like?

Yes, I was responding in humour as well. A wish list would be acceptable, I think.

Apologize up front if someone has already commented on this.

Did you notice neither GA or CA had a button of Caylee on or the shamrock pin? Any idea on what you think that may mean?

I am sure it was in one of the later interviews with LE..will have to find it.

1) Why does Strickland hardly ever rule on any motions at the hearings? Any average person can see how laughable and far fetched the motions are (special treatment for one person, come on), but it takes a respected judge a few days to decide? I'm confused..

.

respectfully snipped

RHornsby or AZLawyer or anyone else is probably more qualified to answer this than me but my personal opinion is because this is such a high profile case and Judge S knows his rulings are going to be scrutinized with a fine tooth comb he is being extra careful and not ruling hastily..

I have never seen or heard that depo, do you have the link? TIA!!!

Andrea's "act" of supporting Casey was humorous to me!
After hearing those audio's of the seminar, I can say that she didn't do a good job today acting as if she really cares...
Too funny!
