Welcome to WS, POI! Love your handle!

I bet your ears are bleeding after watching all those videos! :)

Thank you, it's great to be here... this site is fantastic!
My ears were doing great until I subjected them to hours upon hours of Cindys babble. Her Defamation deposition videos were quite painful.

When I was getting chemotherapy my mind was very fuzzy. I had a hard time remembering what I ate for breakfast in the morning. How can this woman be declared a witness when she most likely is on morphine for pain, and experiencing the side affects of chemotherapy? I understand everyone handles chemotherapy differently, but in my experience seeing many cancer patients at Moffitt Cancer Center chemotherapy affects you mentally, and physically.

Excellent point! I wonder how the questioning of this witness is going to be played.

Welcome Person of Interest!~

I don't feel anything coming from Casey's confession. It came off as just something she had to say. Still fake tears.

JB is an idiot, and should stay off camera.

So, with the shaking of the hands and hugs we saw today (C & G w/ the defense) it certainly looks like they approve of throwing Kronk under the bus now. Gosh, I wonder if Bradley was making that statement up when he said the Anthony's didn't want to see anyone else put "under the microscope" ?

I believe RH was pointing out that if any of the A's testify about any statement made by Casey (i.e., "she was not concerned, and explained to me that she had just spoken with Caylee on the phone earlier that day"), then the judge might permit the state to introduce Casey's felony convictions to show that Casey is not a credible witness.
I think the felony convictions are really beside the point when it comes to Casey. The jury is going to figure out that Casey is a liar without having to infer that fact from her felony convictions.

--emphasis mine

Excellent point! I had not considered that scenario.

I liked the way Judge Strickland divided up the charges - Solomon like, he called it- I shall call him Solomon Strickland from now on. You can see he is tired of Baez already- I don't think he will be so patient with him during the murder trial.

KC is sorry, but not for what she did. She's sorry she got caught.

Did anyone see KC get a little huffy looking when JS and the SA were talking that she might not ever get out of jail. The famous "pi$$ed look" showed up and AL was quickly talking to her. If anyone else saw that could you post a photo please. I would but not a clue how to do it. TIA

When RK ex made her statement on video tape she was not under oath, so it can not be used in court. The way the defense spoke about her condition it sounds very serious. I can't imagine how anyone can depose this woman with her on going medical condition.

This "latent print evidence" could mean that KCs fingerprints WERE FOUND????

*praying & doing happy dance if true*

I think it's entirely possible. The FBI could be purposely holding it back because they know it will be released to the public. If they found her prints on the duct tape, which I strongly suggest is the case, the defense could argue she can't get a fair trial, IMO.

On another note, MANY THANKS TO MY WS FRIENDS who posted a blow-by-blow description of today's hearing. It killed me that I couldn't watch it but thanks to you, I can picture everything that occurred.

JB just dropped his whole file and papers.
Could those files have been dropped on purpose??? To take the attention off of Casey...so everyone would look at him...and Casey could high five or shake hands with someone while handing off a note to her parents??? My first thought was..."it was staged".

But...I am at work and can only read...am not able to watch the mishandling of the files. I can't wait to watch later!:waitasec:

Didn't I read somewhere - maybe here - she has Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma?

What is up with JB making faces behind the SA's back.

He looks like a recalcitrant child. I wonder if he remembers we can all see him.

He pulls that carp during a jury trial, it's not going to go over well with him or Casey.

MOO

ETA* She is sorry she has to admit guilt and apologize.

ITA!

This was the first time I saw KC show any real emotion. Unfortunately it was for herself. She really did seem to well up and cry as she sat back down at the defense table. It probably hit home that this was no longer a "game" and that JB wasn't going to be able to get "his girl" out of it. I looked like it hit her that she was now a convicted felon. Probably the first time in her life where she's had to face any real consequences for her actions. I still think she thinks the murder trial is one big game. She's going to have one very similar reaction when they announce "guilty" at the end of the murder trial. She may need a whole box of Kleenex then.

I believe he said If State is correct lengthy sentence or worse; if defense is correct she'll be aquitted and walk free.

Judge Strickland dropped a verbal pause in this statement. Sent me off into peals of laughter, until I realized I subconsciously added it anyway, drat it.
