Richard Hornsby, an Orlando attorney who offers analysis for WESH, explained that the state is trying to rebut the defense&#8217;s claim that someone else put the toddler&#8217;s remains in the woods.

&#8220;Hornsby says the state wants to respond forcefully after Casey&#8217;s defense presents testimony from EquuSearch volunteers who say they searched and found nothing in the area where Caylee&#8217;s remains were later found, &#8221; Kealing said. &#8220;That would open the door for Casey to claim that someone else put Caylee&#8217;s bones in the woods after she was locked up.&#8221;
