Mr. Mason on Tru TV threatening that if JAC doesn't go there way he will take it to the Federal Court House. What I don't understand KC is just another mom who killed her kid. As a Florida Tax payer and a crime victim (I to had duct tape placed on my eyes and mouth like Caylee but I was an adult and I survived. I also didn't have that 3rd piece. The defence lawyers are hanging their pro bono hats on kc's constitutional rights, well I say what about Caylee's. She should be alive and taking dance classes and attending Pre School. Shame on the defense lawyers. Yes, the tax payers do pay for the state to prosecute criminals to make our state safe. Not to spend an extreme amount of money on a defendant's high profile case which consists of lies, false allegations and mistruths. Shame on Mr. Mason for bulldozing the court and the SA's office who is seeking the truth and justice for Caylee!

Respectfully bolded by me. Thanks was not enough! I am with you 150%. I want to hear her called Caylee, not the body, or the remains. This was a flesh and blood near baby whose precious life was stolen from her by the one person in her life she should of been able to trust unconditionally, her mother. It's unreal to me that the atmosphere in that courtroom is so light, and everyone's smiling and laughing. Come on! Where is their respect for this poor dead child? :banghead:

What floored me about adding on another lawyer, was that it happened at the indigency hearing. Are they allowed to keep adding on lawyers, even when the state is paying for costs? And/or was the strategy to slip him in before JS approved the indigency request?

I'm fairly certain they can add as many as they want....but you can bet they have had meetings with Mr. Mason well before today's court date. He didn't just walk in there cold.

I don't think many who use PD's have a "dream team" of this magnitude. They get the bare bones representation when the state is footing the bill

Baez claims that ABC fee's were for licensing photos. When asked if taxes were paid on the money he did not want to answer about his clients finances. I really would like to know who the several owners of copyrighted content are.

The article reads ABC said the picture deal was brokered BY BAEZ, not Casey.

The deal was done with an attorney representing several owners of copyrighted content, ABC News spokeswoman Cathie Levine said. That attorney is Baez, she added."

Dont' you pay a fee for that???

The owner of the materials has copyrights. They do not have to be filed for or purchased. If I take a picture I own the copyrights.

Does anyone else remember Mr. Mason sayint the the Public Defender's Office could not afford a case like this. He mentioned someones name from the Public Defender's Office and they agreed. My questions would be, how are other death penalty cases tried if not for the Public Defender's Office as most charged with a DP crime can not afford their own attornies?

Baez has no use, being first chair is for what? Publiciity..or is he hanging on the the shirt tales for money after this trial. Unethical..he had to ask the ethics committee if that would be unethical??? What a dunce.! Get him off the defense, he's useless, IMO and has never said he's doing this pro bono but the experts are!

Why not say Off Camera.

"In camera" is a Latin phrase and it means in chambers. "Camera" does not refer to a picture-taking device. The phrase comes from before cameras were invented (but not camerae).
