2010.03.25 Misty Croslin Flunks Secret Police Polygraph!!

  • #61
IF THIS POLY TOOK PLACE......I think that there may be more to this than we know. Misty seems to stick with this Tommy and Joe story. As someone posted earlier, she may be one of those who can't pass a poly, and if she is taking medication or detoxing off of drugs it would mess with the results. I however don't think it is Tommy, but Timmy, and Tommy knows, why Misty would implicate Tommy and not Timmy I don't know, but as I said before it was Timmy's van, we have heard reports that Misty was on the phone with Timmy, Misty's statement to Chelsey about it hurting one person they love, would be Timmy. Timmy stating he would not go to Florida because they will arrest him, all seem to point to Timmy, and Ron and Misty putting the rat in Tommy's mail box and then Misty filing a restraining order against Tommy seems like they were trying to discredit Tommy to set him up.... I want Tommy to take a poly, and I want them to specifically ask him if he knows what happened to Haleigh not just if he is responsible...

Misty is very close to Timmy and according to her, Ron likes him too. She has continually thrown suspicion onto Tommy since the beginning of this case. LOL, I wish that we could create the questions to be asked in the LDT.

The suspense is killing me :banghead:. I pray NG is not going to bump the Haleigh case tonight. I feel that LE dictates when new info can be released and they are up to something. IMO, NG is waiting for the go ahead to give us a bone. What ever the news is, I am thinking it has to do with Misty's Poly. Art Harris said he was going to be on tonight as well to discus the poly. I want to know about Tommy's...he was said to have taken one two weeks ago. I wonder if he did and if he failed or passed. I am not shocked that Misty failed...IMO, she requested to take it and have the results released so that Ron would get word that she still is not talking and sticking to her story. Why else would we know the results? In most cases LE never says who passes or fails. They don't comment. Why is it that when Misty takes a poly the results are shared? IMO, it's because she wants them to be. Makes no sense to me, except that maybe she wants to assure Ronald that she is not talking...

Exactly, if they would let us ask the questions we could figure this out, ask questions like, Did ???? hurt Haleigh? Is ???? the cause of Haleigh being missing right now? Do you know who is responsible for Haleigh not being here right now? and go through the list ask the exact same questions for each person, Tommy, Timmy, Ron, TN, everybody, but I would first like to know if Misty can pass a poly,,, ask her a series of questions like her name, age and so forth and see those results, then ask a series of questions that may be embarrassing to her like have you ever pottyed on yourself, have you ever farted in public..and see how her results comepare when she is embarressed, and then ask her questions that may cause a scared reaction and see how those results turn out.
Misty maybe a little slow but she is not a moron, she knows that a lie detector test, detects lies and she would not keep telling the same story and think she would get a diffrent result she is sitting in jail, and she knows the only way out is to tell the truth, I'm afraid she may be telling the truth, or at least part of the truth and she just can't pass the LDT.

Butterfly, I respectfully disagree, because those normal questions are always a part of the poly. The results are compared to the "control sample" which is the obvious, such as her name. If she is not deceptive in the control sample, you would expect the same results in the real test. I would be afraid to take a poly because I would be a total wreck, just going through it. But, I would be nervous with just having to state my name. If anything, my poly would be inconclusive, but not "flunked miserably."

:
I wanted to add this interview in Ron's thread, but it is closed now. Notice how he responds to questions and whispers in Misty's ear when she is asked about the last time she saw Haleigh. Misty said she saw Haleigh last "WHEN SHE PUT HER TO BED" around 8PM?!

Madj, I want to thank you for posting that video. I haven't seen it in sometime and for me thats a good thing because whenever I watch it, I get madder than HELL-O..He thinks he is so cool but his cocky remarks and his evil stares are nothing but a total giveaway of him being the one responsible..
And none of the Cummings Clan appear to be grieving a child who they claim was abducted IMHO..They are all too interested in watching each other and checking out the reporter's reactions to the BS Ron C is feeding them...Especially TN and Crystal C..They know exactly what happened...JMO

Anyone here ever taken a polygraph? I have, after my house was involved in a home invasion. I was the victim, treated as the perp, answered every question 100% honestly, and was told I "failed miserably". I had absolutely no knowledge, or involvement with the home invasion, was 100% a victim. This was in Brevard County Florida.

I did get an apology from them when a few weeks later they caught some one doing a home invasion elsewhere in the county, who confessed to a string of them, my house being one.

But in short, I can see why they are not used in court (unless both defense and prosecution agree) - imho, they are worthless.

“The polygraph operator said, ‘She didn’t just flunk, she flunked miserably,’” a source familiar with the hush-hush test tells The Bald Truth in an exclusive interview.

“The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department arranged it, picked her up and took her to an interview room in our jail,” recalled Sgt. Chuck Mulligan, spokesman for the sheriff’s department in St. John’s County outside St. Augustine, Florida. For all other questions, he referred us to PCSD, where no one would officially confirm or deny the Croslin test ever happened." <snipped>

interesting, thanks for your unique input. I wonder if there are truly some people that would never pass a polygraph examinations due to other factors? I remember reading up on that many months ago, might have to do a little refresher.

I thought as much. Guess the bombshell could wait? :waitasec:

I hope Art isn't too upset with Nancy if he is bumped.....again

Darn it, I was hoping a rumor I heard would be the "bombshell" guess not.

When I took mine (explained on my previous post) - I was in the room with the interviewer just talking with him (unhooked) about the home invasion, and he went over the exact questions he was going to ask three or four times with me, almost so I could formulate an answer for the real test.

I was told to lie to a particular question. He held up a card with the number 4 on it and asked if the card had the number 4, and I was told to lie and say no. Other standard questions were asked, such as is John Robert Doe your name is 1/1/60 your birthdate, etc. I was also asked questions that I felt had no bearing on the home invasion, and questions that were very ambigous. I had the tester clarify some questions, such as "Have you ever taken anything of value form some one that loved or trusted you?" "Ever? Well, I took a dollar out of my mom's purse when I was 9, does that count?"

There were questions that I never really understood. The incident happened when I was 48, and the questioner prefaced a lot of questions with "prior to your 46th birthday did you ever....".

I was then hooked up to the machine. All in all I was asked about 50 total questions, with several of the questions repeated more than twice during each session. I was officially asked the sets of questions three times.

The questioner afterwards told me I passed all questions except one where it showed deceit when asked if I felt responsible for the home invansion - explaining that was natural, because since I was insured, it was a victimless crime, did I in some way help them, etc - at the time I didn't realize it but in retrospect, I think I passed those questions too, and he was trying to trick me into a confession. I was never shown a copy of the polygraph, or a copy of his evaluation of it, but on a copy of the final police report, the investigating detective said I had showed "extremely high levels of deciet, and not only failed, but failed miserably.

D. Piscatello, states ....spoke with Tommy for 3 hours, covered several issues on that tape. ( from TES) will not discuss what they talked about, Tommy was very cooperative. Waiting for family to pick him up and take him back to Satsuma.

Thanks for posting, I was trying to get that to open up earlier. Magically it just did!

I think a lot depends on the person that administers it. Tommy said he would take one, but not one given by LE. He agreed to take one through LP. I can see where LE can sometimes get the results they want. Sorry, you had to go through that. Don't forget, there are bad people in every walk of life, and that goes for LE as well. I have 2 members of LE in my family. My son-in-law and my baby sister. They are good people, but I've rubbed elbows with some that I would hate to have any dealings with.

What ever happened to truth serum? Maybe I watched too many shows from the 50's and 60's. Wait, didn't they have other methods back then as well? I'm so tired of the lies. Someone had posted in another thread and I know this is old news but they had said that Misty wasn't home. I've always thought that. But I never considered that Ron had left the kids home alone when he went to work. For me that explained the flurry of calls that were made from Ron. That also explained Theresa begging Misty to babysit rumors. That also explained Misty having her cell phone turned off. (right?) It could possibly explain
Haleigh either accidentally or not dying from a drug overdose making both Misty and Ron culpable and a coverup involving the whole family.

Maybe this belongs in the theories thread.

Elle, so did I! I worked on that for about an hour before I left to go to my grandson's ballgame, with no luck. I had to go back to the site and re-work it to get it to open!

Anybody know if Werter is Tommy's appointed PD or if he's the one Robbie [reportedly] said was interested in taking Tommy's case? That name's not familiar to me. Sorry.
Hmmm can you check the clerk of the court record to see if he was appointed
or or not? Not sure if that shows up that way?

Sorry if this has been discussed or asked-had a busy day and am catching up.
Can someone please tell me why it is ok for Chuck Mulligan from SJC to speak of activities going on in their jail to AH that no one else will speak of? Wouldn't that make PC upset? Or is this a police tactic and they wanted the info. "leaked"? Also, if the polygraph is supposed to be a "secret" and "hush hush" why are we reading about about it on the internet and NG is covering it on national tv?

I would like to know that too, and have only come to the conclusion that AH is either fulla-..... um ..... poop, or that LE chose to release this information through one of his "sources close to the investigation".

I think the fact that nobody has returned his phone calls according to his article, kinda proves that this information did not come from an "official" source.
