I haven't read everyone's posts yet. But just what I got so far from these letters is starting to make sense. The flurry of calls to me sound like Casey o'ed caylee with the Cholroform. then in that first phone call when she says to Cindy "you dont' know what my involvement is" that to me says you gave me the chloroform you know what i did.

So she doesn't believe her bra could come undone in her sleep, but she tells Amy she changed clothes in her sleep? Huh??

BRAVO!!! I laughed my 🤬🤬* off with this one, and that's saying something!!
Thank you!!!!! Now, back to our regularly scheduled broadcasting......

If I were Baez, I would not feel very comfortable with a client like KC. If the trial does not go to KC's liking, he also could be accused of molestation or other derogatory stuff . KC is a pathological liar. I do not believe the molestation remarks or other negative remarks about her family. KC will spout any kind of story if it will benefit her in the end. The hard part of the letters is to find that tiny grain of truth. May be the reason Baez did not fight the release of the letters is because of his own vulnerability to KC's lies.
Nay, he could not be that smart.
I wonder how the info about his passing letters went over with the Judge (who I'm sure knows). I think it was best for 'old Jose to keep his trap shut.

Page 11 --- Where Casey writes:

"I love you Robyn! and for now, I will call you Lily. Not sure why, but it just came to me. (smiley face)

G'night!
Muffin"

Is that a heart above the word 'Muffin'?

And Zany was the pet name for who????? I love how she makes names for people. A great trick to quickly make a connection with someone. I had a VERY Narcissist friend who did that almost right on the spot with everyone he met. It made you feel indeared to him. He would great you with a big hello and the cute name he had assigned to you and be all flirty with you. It was cute until he asked you for money or something along those lines.

Wow, the biggest piece of news to come out of this (IMO) is the fact that Casey told another inmate that Caylee was wraped in a blanket, inside of a trah bag, when the chaplain (who supposedly told her they had found a body) didn't mention any blanket ot trash bag ! Now, that's a blockbuster !
...except...we don't really know when...I mean, did she tell this woman a day later, a week later, a month later? No proof of that. Did Casey even say it? The woman has ulterior motives here.

It's funny that most of the letters were meant to paint Casey in a better light, but the interview with Maya (from Det Melich) ruins all the effort Casey put into painting herself as a victim and religous convert.

I guess we don't have a date on when this went down, huh ?

The more I think about it, the more GA's and KC's spelling of the imaginanny fits. Zany. This whole thing is completely zany.

I was thinking the same thing - at times the letters almost sound like love letters.

That's how they work, these types, once they are locked up. It really is a seduction of sorts.. it's kinda like the "grooming" that pedo's do I guess. IRL Casey and people like her use their bodies, and all that that entails (laughter, beauty, fashion, hairstyle etc) to get people to like them. Here they don't have that so they use their words. If you bear your soul to another it's a beautiful thing, to any feeling human and they know it so they do it. It's a seduction like poetry and wine and book clubs and clubbing and p!ss!ng in parking lots. (That's how all those guys on death row get all those women wanting to marry them and stuff- they were seduced. lol) But what they don't seem to be able to grasp is that this is jail. While they may think they are seducing, in reality (as we see right here) they are being seduced.

"Shortly after Anthony was notified of the discovery." as per the Adams interview. One would think they would ask for an approximate date or time. IMO I find in a lot of interviews in this case LE could have asked more probing questions.

 Amen!!

Ya know what's freaking me out a bit? How a lot of the story that relates to Skye also tangentially relates to LP's story...you know the part where RK's gf works on the inside the jail? What are the odds that Skye is the one that's helping to pass notes...and oh, her sister just happens to be having an affair with Casey's father? If anybody heard anything about where Caylee was discarded...it could have been anyone of these "friends". The amount of schemers involed in this case truly makes me ill.

...and what's to prevent this inmate from lying? She was looking for help with her own case.

ETA: OH...and the priest sure isn't gonna talk.

I always did and I knew it was weird :biglaugh: never heard of anyone else doing it til I read that. help am I truly abnormal? :biglaugh:

I still do! I am trying to defy gravity. Is it a bad thing???? LOL

BBM:

And why she hung on to the letters until after her conviction and sentencing and transfer to a "prison"?

States quite clearly in the FDLE summary that she did not save these letters or agree to be interviewed to help her own case.

Hello all! Long time reader, first time poster. New to the forum but no stranger to the case. I'm a young mom in the Orlando area..participated in many of the searches back in 2008. Even had a couple exchanges with both KC and CA when she was out on bond, that was actually quite something now that I look back on it.

Just now getting to peruse over these letters, and they seem to contain a lot more than I would have thought. I wouldn't have imagined she'd even mention Caylee at all. I knew she was putting her baby to sleep but always thought she was using xanax, hence the term "Zanny the Nanny". I've been saying since about August of '08 that Casey seemed like a victim of sexual abuse. Which prompted me to do some research and found many articles written by psychologists about the inappropriate relationships that often occur (well I wouldn't say often, but more so than you'd think) between brothers and sisters.

Just thought I'd say hi, and I'm looking forward to seeing what else the witch has to say.

My eyes are bleeding...I can't take anymore!

I'm headed to the basement for a very strong drink, and I'll read more tomorrow (maybe)

I'm going to ask again, When did CA ever miss a hearing? I don't remember that at all?

The priest in the Stacy Peterson case talked. So maybe ... just maybe.

I think it was to garner fame from the likes of Oprah et. al....
These days with the media, if you get your name tied to somebody famous, good or bad, you can make serious bank if you do it right.
