I hate to take "The World According's" favorite sentence in this case but it is so appropriate when talking about whether these letters were scripted.

"You just can't make this stuff up."

I don't believe for a minute that these letters were scripted, but they are more than likely lurking.

Makes me want to burst out singing "Where "the boys" are... someone's waiting for me. Where "the boys" are... Where "the boys" are... Casey's waiting to be freed."

Some of KC's words appear to be recycled from 'Diary of Days':

'We’re both in our worst of worst places...' ('On the worst of worst days...')

'...my unconditional love for my daughter...' ('Love unconditionally.')

‘In order for us to have lives, we must lose our old lives in order to be reborn.' ('Tomorrow is a brand new day.')

I once saw a large lazy bird in a zoo who insincerely shrieked, 'Would you like a cup of tea?' at people walking past his enclosure. KC's endless prattling of empty phrases into any available ear reminds me of him-- she opens her mouth or picks up a pen and meaningless chunks of cliche pour out, blocks of words that mean nothing, not even to her. She is a cold, incongruent shambles of a person, and it is a terrible tragedy that a tiny, helpless girl ended up being in her icy grip.

ITA. She recycles a lot of these no-meaning phrases in her speech. Completely redundant. I refer to those sort of phrases as "filler". You know, the kind of stuff most English 101 professors encourage you to eliminate from your writing?

I saw somewhere recently, maybe in old interviews? I cannot place where I saw it but I know I did see it, that Lee said, when asked about the molestation thing, that he would address that when the time was right...Is it getting close to the right time Lee? Or is it going to be the right time on the witness stand? How long before you answer to this and either admit it or put a stop to this lunacy?

IMO, there was an affair now between GA/RCruz.............Skye knew all and was a go between.
All the affair makes sense now. LE was watching all of this.......went to River, story and letters come together.
The 5 finger prayer and GA talking about the 5 finger family thing in jail house video now makes sense, also.
These letters sort of help stick the puzzle pieces together to get a whole picture.
KC dropping LEE off Caylee's name and calling her Cays.........shortening just like Kasey?
LEE/Kc hate/love thing?
Why does she want to be IRISH????
Wants an IRISH adopted baby with an accent?
Didn't want Caylee?
The answers are hidden between her half truths as CA puts it!
Wonder how CA/GA thinks of the PRINCESS ????

Pure speculation here, but it seems to make sense. I am going to throw this out there...

With as obsessed as Casey seems to be with molestation and sex allegedly being bi-sexual, what if she were molesting Caylee and that's what got her choked on the 15th?
Especially if maybe roles were reversed and she'd tried something on Lee as kids, only to be rejected and told on?

Hearing such words from my tiny, innocent grandchild or catching her doing something vile would make me physically attack my demented daughter...

Exactly. The jury can choose to believe her testimony or not to believe it. In this case, it seems backed up by other forensic evidence as well as statements from Casey's friends describing Caylee sleeping during a loud party ~ which to me, would indicate she could've been drugged. MOO

ITA but, IMO, the prosecution, in this instance, should let the forensics speak for themselves rather than risk putting a controversial witness on the stand who may bring far more baggage than is actually needed for the trip (so to say). Controversial, not only because of credibility issues related to her criminal history, but because of possible motive issues being raised; e.g., reduced sentence... JMO ~

Yes exactly. She also tries to use big words where they are either awkward or not used correctly. Like when she said the song brings chills to her appendages. Who says that?

On page 74, Casey says something like, "And yes, my happy butt will be going home by late summer." The date at the top of the letter is 4/1/9. Does anyone know what she meant by that?

(Btw, I have to admit that I am snickering because on the same page, Casey refers to Conway as a "power hungry jerk")
