The father is at the scene..........This is still the ball field call. They keep making reference to him, and then calling him a suspect. then saying how upset he is. They've called for reinforcements to help deal with him.

This could be Misty's dad, could be someone I am not thinking of, or could have nothing to do with Haleigh at all?

A search is being conducted in Putnam County following a lead to detectives last night in the Haleigh Cummings disappearance, authorities said this morning.

The search is being conducted off County Road 309 and includes woods and water, said Lt. Johnny Greenwood of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. He said authorities are not saying who provided the information or the nature of the evidence they are looking for.

Dozens of searchers and several boats are being used.

"Although various resources are being utilized to conduct this search, it is just one of many operations conducted during this investigation," a statement from the Sheriff's Office said.

According to the scanner, he was out of control. they stated he was concerned about his daughter. "all kinds of crazy......" was the term they used.
