2010.04.14 New search for Haleigh #3

I'm reluctant to post this but twice this am on MyFoxTampabay they have reported that Ron was brought to the SEARCH? Did anyone else hear this? I missed it if they did. Dont know if it was a poor choice of words or what. I'm waiting for a video to come up and will post a link. both my hubby and I heard it.

Why would they take RON there???

In the video I posted with Steve Brown, former FBI, stated RC has no involvement. When asked about who is responsible are they out of the state, he answers yes, (cousin JO from Tennessee but doesn't name him) multiple suspects, also stated MC was there and doesn't know the law since he's not an attorney on what she could be charged with...very intersting, seems to me, MC has told them from the beginning about JO, who left the next day after HaLeigh's alleged abduction but had been interviewed and not viewed as a suspect, early on...Someone made a huge error in not putting pressure on cousin JO, TommyC who seems to have given corroborating information which leads the authorities to St. John's River...I also notice they are concentrating near the dock area. I so there will be enough evidence found with HaLeigh to convict...If she was in that cooler, I'm sure some forensic evidence is there...

It's time to bring HaLeigh home!

It was said that yesterday that LE had brought him in with other family members. But they never said he was taken to the search site.
That would be of "interest" if true he was taken to the search site. Hmm..keep us updated please. TIA :blowkiss:

Haleigh's family arrived at the Putnam County Jail, where Sheriff Jeff Hardy said that officials are conducting interviews with the family in addition to the search.
Haleigh's father and mother, Ronald Cummings and Crystal Sheffield; her grandparents; and her great-grandmother, Teresa Neves are among those called to the jail.

Steve Brown, former FBI agent, says investigation into Haleigh Cummings' disappearance is now a homicide case.


Steve Brown states he solved this case on Monday! He's been working on this for the past 10 months.

I got the impression that they may be looking for a gun??? Something that will not rot or be eaten after all this time.
He kept saying 'other evidence' to tie it together........
and may be nothing left of dear Haleigh.

RC was taken to the police station to tell of this new search and possibly it now being a homicide investigation. He wasn't taken to the search area. GGMSykes showed up last night, she was asked to leave and to stay away, they didn't want her to possibly contaminate any evidence..or what they told her..

Is there another video? The one that I saw Brown says nothing about who did it.

I saw on ticker while watching the Nancy Grace show the Misty's grandmother was the one who told them where the body was. Did anybody else see that?? It went across the bottom several times. I am positive!!

I missed that, but it was rumored that Tommy told her something.
We are getting so much bad reporting, I wish we got it straight from a presser.

Brown said there is more than one suspect, Misty was there, one of the suspects probably lives outside of Florida, he doesn't know if Ron was involved.

Brown was hired by Haleigh's mom, Crystal. He solved the case Monday, after 10 months of investigating. There are eyewitness testimonies.

Would it be a shock to many IF it turns out that Ron really was NOT involved in any way? I ask cos I know many who have been following this case from day 1 believe that's def NOT the case.

I wonder if anyone will feel bad for anything that was said about anyone in the case when it is all over and we find out what really happened. No matter what anyone's behavior was in this case after Haleigh disappeared or how we feel about things they have done that we have witnessed, no one deserves to lose a child. Not like this. At this point, for me, nothing matters that any of them have done except that Haleigh gets justice and that justice is served on those who hurt her.

I don't think I can believe anything at this point.
First we hear a cooler has been pulled from the water. Now we learn it's not a cooler.
Then we hear they have a suspect in custody. Did that story just vanish?
Steve Brown solved the case! No, it wasn't Steve Brown it was MC's grandmother. It was ToC who confessed to his grandmother.
I think the media is running with whatever they think they may have....which is seriously frustrating and very confusing.

Hate to ask ... but would bones still be intact after all this time?

Not to be too gross-but it all probably depends on how she was disposed. If she was disposed of like Caylee (triple bagged) or inside of a container of some sort that didn't allow too much water or marine life to further the decomposition process-then I think Haleigh will be able to be identified.
However, this former FBI agent is saying they are looking for 2 items and I'm not sure Haleigh is one of them.:furious:

I cannot imagine LE gathering family like that if they did not have proof of Haleigh's death; they would not just gather them, especially at a jail, to tell them they were now pursuing it as a homicide, when in reality, i think it has been a homicide investigation for most of the past year-this would not be huge news. And I believe that LE did say they had "physical evidence" yesterday, although no clue what that means.
I hate the idea of a gun being used, if this is the case...it gives me chills to think anyone could shoot a child...i am so hoping for an accident of some kind and that she just did not wake up...
But no way, to me, is Ron in the clear here. Whatever has occurred, he at least knew of it after the fact and has been lying and obstructing justice for 14 months. IMO
