even if they do not find Haleigh...they may locate something specific Misty said was also put there to back up her story or already have found at least one item they learned about, this validating the continued search, imo...
it will be fascinating to say the least to see who she is claiming put the items there or at whose orders...she will certainly say she was forced to do it, at the very least...

The search site is on the St John's River, it's just a couple of miles downstream. Yesterday they showed Crystal (Haleigh's mom) leaving the Sheriff's office appearing very distraught.
Also Teresa N. was shown being escorted (helped by two sheriffs) to her car weeping uncontrollably.....
The overhead copter shot of Misty on the dock is DEFINITELY TODAY...it was live at the 6:00 news!!

The shadows are just right for the picture to have been live. I am an hour different and that is how long my shadow is right now.

Oh that is so COOL. I'm glad they dragged her arss out there. But where's her attorney. Can they do this? By no means am I on MC side, but I don't want LE to mess up here. She has the right to remain silent.....

At this point, she'd probably do anything to get out of jail, or out on bail.

Can't wait to find out more info.

She isn't in custody for Haleigh's case so as long as she doesn't ask for her lawyer they can take her anywhere and if she talks oh well..

JnTexas I was sitting here thinking the same exact scenario. I was racking my memory trying to remember if I've ever seen a POI or Suspect in a case taken physically to a crime scene (once they were in custody) unless there was some sort of plea deal in the works. I'm coming up empty.

I've seen a few cases where this has happened, perp shows them where the bodies are in exchange for a plea deal usally.

I completely agree....LE needs to give a statement, but I for one am grateful for the HUGE media attention and the pressure that has been brought on everyone involved in this case. If they dont find anything in the water but they get the players to squirm that much more and someone cracks. I'm all for it. At this point I just want Haleigh found more than I want the who done it. The who done it is not going to go away as long as WS is around!

Steve Brown, (former FBI Agent) now a private investigator working for Haleigh's mother, Crystal Sheffield, said he believes the Putnam County Sheriff's Office knows who is responsible for Haleigh's disappearance.

"There may be other people culpable, but as to who killed Haleigh, that's not going to be a big surprise," Brown said.

Why would he say, 'killed'????

WOW - that's all I can say is WOW! That's her - no doubt. I wondered yesterday if LE took her down there - Sheriff Hardy said he didn't know where she was when the media confronted him yesterday afternoon.

Yup Mysticrose it was always for a plea deal if memory serves me right. Like ChesterP said she's knows she's going to big girl prison and maybe she was advised to cut a deal so she won't be such an OLD big girl when she gets out of big girl prison. IMHO maybe maybe not.
