He wasnt ordered to pay child support, he was ordered to recieve it. He is obviously not a murderer if he was not arrested or a grand jury has not indicted him yet. He is the only one in Putnam county. they are keeping them seperate for a reason I think. I hope Ron gets thru this as I am SURE losing a child has got to be the hardest task there can be... my heart hurts for him and the family, it is just pitiful.

I agree I pray for Crystal My great niece died last week at 4 mos My niece has had to lay 2 of her precious angels to rest in less than 2 years the other a boy at age 4 days The pain she is going through is absolutely unbearable to watch I have cried and cried and cried for her and those sweet angels. I hope Misty and whoever else was involved gets their just reward NO mother should ever have to bury their baby no matter how old and especially not because of murder.

I just read that JO stole ron's gun and then, on the porch one day, JO said, "rc will get what's coming to him". Shoudn't that be the other way aroun?.

Tn said it happened two weeks prior...sure...right..like I believe that..lol.

Rons attorney is for his drug bust charges......... I wonder if Crystal also knew Joe did this from the beginning? hmmm she and Ron seem to get along ok, it will be interesting how this all turns out.

Let's get serious..if rc knew it was JO and wanted him to pay, he would be screaming through the roof tops or should I say shooting through the roof tops. He sat silently at Granny's.

This is Shoemaker again..He repeats whatever rc tells him. I take it with a box of salt. Why is he on top of this anyway, he should settle down now and work on the drug charges, he can drop the Haleigh crime. So why is he popping up again in the Haleigh thing or is it so we don't forget him? I guess he was there just to let the world know that his client is in general pop.

Well, to be fair, Ron did give a page of written information to LE very early in the case and it listed some people who he suspected might be involved. We have no idea who was on that list, but it might have included Cousin Joe. Supplying the names of those someone suspects is a far cry from proving it, however.

I remember Ron handing a piece of paper to two detectives who were standing on the river bank, I think by Ron's house. I don't think that, besides speculating on its contents, we ever found out what was on that paper. At least, I don't remember that we did.

rc retained Terry Shoemaker as his Criminal Defense Attorney in the Haleigh Case. TS has had to now defend him on Assault Charges and now Drug Charges but he was hired to protect him on Haleigh Charges. I just researched and rc also hired his Kimble for the same thing. Kimble agreed to take on the child custody AFTER he was hired to protect rc from the media and LE questioning concerning Haleigh.

Ronald has been lawyered us since March 2009..maybe earlier.

Being here in the beginning and having discussed JO. Speaking for myself, Ron started with "no there was never a fight with a cousin JO, leave him out of this." (words to that effect) I think it was the Geraldo interview.

Misty did start to say JO was there and Ron and Jo had a fight and it ended with Jo saying something like "You'll get yours" sorry, no known link

Ron on video corrected misty about which day JO visited the mobile home or a fight happened.

LE initially cleared JO as a suspect.

TN became the family spokes person as questions remained and did an interview stating they did have a disagreement about 2 weeks prior and Ron retrieved the gun and that was it. I'm a bit perplexed because I hid one video link upstairs in a different topic so in case there was a disagreement I could refer to it. I've since listened to the news story again describing the gun incidence from TN.

I was a basement dweller and very rarely posted upstairs.

Also people must understand there were multiple topics being discussed in the RT. So it was rare that any one topic was discussed at great length.

The RT was averaging 40 pages a day covering a high level of news stories, pressors, 200+ local RSO's, locations, mapping, custody, rumors and theories, work hours, just to mention a few.

I think everyone wanted to believe that Haleigh would be found alive and well. I for one never expected things to turn out the way they have.

Thanks for clearing that up cause I sure thought he had let his counsel go until the drug charges were made.

No, Peli, they don't want to believe the terrible things and people that are out there.. People want to think when a precious child is killed it was an accident. That is to protect themselves. I have not seen this to be the case. We know deep down that it is not an accident. People don't sit in prison because it was an accident. Nor do they hide from the police when a child is missing but if they are afraid of being accused they lawyer up. Seldom if ever does a grieving parent lawyer up.

Since LE said for the members at the private meeting NOT to talk, I guess it was OK and just a mistake that Shoey went on national tv and announced that RC is sad and didn't want this outcome, in GP, and must plan a funeral. Amazing because we heard from TN how rough this is on Ronald and he is all alone and we heard from AS. Everyone including the media is surrounding the paternal side who is talking and getting something out there. Not one peep about the mother and maternal side.

.....I say this is all geared for the sympathy vote for rc in case his name gets thrown around next week. Something like pre-game damage control.

The Family meeting was on Monday or Tuesday?--can't remember and then they spent at least two more days at Shell Harbor. I wonder if remains were found elsewhere prior and a weapon was what they were searching for in the river. I just cannot fathom LE saying prepare for a funeral without proof. Just can't. MOO

That's what I've been thinking about. I'm wondering if LE's had a tip from someone other than TC and had found Haleigh's remains prior to the river search. Perhaps this whole "tying her body to a cinder block and tossing her in the river" isn't true. I'm wondering if Haleigh's remains were found, not in the river, but on shore nearby, and the river search was for additional evidence/murder weapon.

If LE had found Haleigh's remains, that might have been a bargaining chip for getting a confession out of TC.

I imagine the Funeral will lay firmly on the shoulders of Crystal. I don't know how she can do this. Marie is strong though and can support her. Dear God, this is horrible. I wish I had that letter Crystal wrote for Haleigh. I searched for awhile. It is on my old computer and I can't get it yet.

LE announced this is a Homicide and that Haleigh is dead-so just what sensitive information was given away telling the media Ron and the family were told to make arraignments?
No one has leaked any info that would hurt the investigation.

IMO~~~ EVERYONE in this case (that could be potentially accused) should have had an attorney from the very beginning...and should keep one until they finally make an arrest. I believe they would be stupid not to. No matter who it is.
