If rumor is true and JO dumped his clothes on the way back to Tn and LE has the clothes, I have to conclude no evidence of Haleigh was found on them or he would have been arrested.

If he took her from the trailer and the FBI thoroughly examined the MH, then his DNA or something of him would be in the trailer.

It appears the LE are not sure where the crime occured. None of us can form a good theory w/o a crime scene. All we have is speculation.

Whisp, do we know for a fact that it was clothes that were thrown away on the ride back from TN? I've always thought that it was leaked that Joe threw something away, but never knew it was in fact, clothes. I figured someone just blew this all out of proportion. When we travel, we always dump our trash from fast food, and such, during our gas stops. Maybe I missed it and it was indeed clothes.

Yes, it was some of Joe's clothes that were rumored to have been thrown away. Leonard P was the source for that rumor on HLN. LP also stated LE had gone back to the location and retrieved the clothes. IMO, LP was saying in a round about way that LE must not have found anything on the clothes since Joe was still walking around free.

I have to say, if Joe threw away clothes on his way home from FL, that's pretty strange. :waitasec:

The last that I had heard, LE kept Joe's clothing from the night that Haleigh went missing. LE requested and were given those clothes before he ever left Florida.

I am trying to remember where I heard that from and I seem to remember it being an interview that was done with Chelsey Croslin. She was talking about how they had all went down to the police station and talked to LE in the morning after Haleigh went missing.

I would say check the interviews with her in them to find that one in particular.
