What you bring up is really important, BetteDavisEyes. Whether true or not, TN stating that Ron had to go off somewhere to talk to HaLeigh sounds like he believes her to be dead. Of course, it could mean something else but, if we have someone missing, is there somewhere in particular we need to go to "talk" to them, or could that take place anywhere, since we have no idea where our missing loved one could be? (I doubt just about everything Teresa Neves says, and she says a LOT! In fact, I think her abundance of words and emotions ~which ring untrue and "off" so much of the time ~ are helping to solve this crime, if it isn't solved already).
Does anyone else remember that Annette Sykes was also interviewed around the holidays and was making excuses for Ron being gone from some of the family gathering(s)? Could it actually be that he was doing something with the area where HaLeigh's body is (or was) or with HaLeigh's remains? To give so much emphasis, to bring up that Ron wasn't with them most of the time, and Teresa and Annette's obvious compulsion to make excuses for that makes me suspicious. Then and now.
Could they have all known, or at least have thought, that there would be less attention paid to them over the holidays by LE? This wasn't the case with media though, and I don't think for a moment they welcomed the questions, though they play it off, in my opinion.
Just some thoughts and opinions.
