lol I think you mean 24 hours...haha :)
It was actually around 4 the next day (16th) they taped it up and by 7 they were pulling it into the evidence garage.

LOL...that's funny. I even read her post as 24 hours, not days! I guess from the context of the sentence maybe, but I totally saw and read "hours" not days!

Me too! Didn't cause one single filter blinker to go off in my wee brain's CPU... lol

beach, if we are going to lose our minds we will at least all do it together, on this site. Solidarity!

And JBean--I *know* we are supposed to be talking vacuums here but I'm intrigued by what you got started last page. Three of us had same response to your questions so I have a new Q: Do we need a new thread or can we slide with a sub-convo on this one? :waitasec::angel:

Dear lord I am going to have nightmares of the sound of screeching bus tires tonight....

So. Vacuum cleaners. Washers and dryers. When do we get to see Anthony receipts for new purchases in the post Caylee months? While I like the idea of them going to a do-it-yourself QuikeeWash, my gut says they did the cleanup using what they had and then gave those items away ASAP and bought new ones.

Anyone else need to recalibrate their HinkyMeters constantly while following this case? :banghead:

Did they replace the freezer too? Sounds like they began a purge as soon as KC got arrested....

I don't think there was a need for a new freezer... CA needed new washer and dryer because that is where she washed the decomp pants.:banghead:

BBM . . .

ROFLMAO!!!!:rolling::rolling:

Yes, I've had to reset my HinkyMeter so many times I think it might be broken!

Okay, revision to what I said earlier . . . it would be interesting to see security tapes from nearby u-wash car places during the OVERNIGHT hours of the 15th. Could they? Would they? Me thinks . . . . YES!!!

I was just curious, there has been some discussion that KC stashed Caylee in there for a while...

Detectives knew that day (July 16) that she had washed the knife and pants. Are you saying they got a new washer and dryer to hide that fact or because of the odor that would remain in them? I personally do not think they got new ones. Their machines are distinct and I have seen the same ones in all the photos I have ever seen. I will change my mind if someone comes forward saying they sold new ones to them, or if receipts are posted or side by side photos of different machines are presented.

My hinky meter broke on day 31, or shortly there after. It starting spinning round and round and then exploded the very first day CA was on NG!

OMG! I didn't even know I did that until I came back to the thread just now! Didn't mean to cause a stir! I'm so sorry, I'll be spreading all kind of rumors!

Honestly, between HaLeigh's and Caylee's case and the people surrounding them, it's enough to send you over the edge! :banghead::banghead::banghead: and I'm precariously close @ the moment..

The documents show that the As vacuums/steam cleaners were free of any forensic evidence related to this case . If I am correct after perusing everyones responses:

Some people seem to think that they DID clean the car, and that: a) they replaced the equipment b) they cleaned the equipment c) the car was cleaned elsewhere

If any of these are true, then how would that support the decomposition evidence that was found in the trunk?

And if they did not clean the car at all, then why so little decomposition evidence found?

I am thinking this evidence, or non evidence rather, leans more in the favour of the Defense though. I say this because I dont think the As are going to be known so intimately by the jurors as they are here at WS. If anything they will be seen as grieving Grandparents whose Daughter is at risk of death. Because of this, I just dont think the jury will believe that the car was cleaned.

This is of course is just my opinion, and I do wonder if this evidence will even become applicable at trial.

yes but she went off script first by reporting it to the 911 dispatch.
Not trying to derail the thread i swear. Only trying to reconcile this in my mind.

My feeling about the 911 calls and the first couple of days was that Cindy really didn't know Caylee was "missing". I think she though Casey was playing "silly bu****s" with her and hiding Caylee to punish her (Cindy).

I think when she found the car, and then found Casey, she totally flipped out. It must have taken her only a couple of days to watch Casey's behavior and have one of those :waitasec:, and get on Casey's A Train.

Although I'm in fear of getting stoned by the group, I think much of Cindy's behavior in the first couple of months was driven by the horror she knew in her heart and the fact that her brain just could not accept hearing out loud that Caylee was probably dead.

And yes, may I quickly add I think she acted bizarrely, out of control, and the most unforgivable thing, turned her back on Caylee in order to defend Casey.

You know, seriously, I wonder how much decomp really was on those pants? Was it a bit of splashing, or did they reek because they had been in the car for a month, or was it a bit of both. If it was both, and a splash of decomp, I don't think that would ruin a washer and dryer forever do you?

Just the thought of that is  - sorry!

For the sake of understanding your point of view - can you tell me what parameters you would use for "cleaned"? A wipe with a bunch of paper towels, a steam cleaning or?
